What's something you know won't end up being good nut you want anyway? Power Pack set for me
Is this it for the SDCC Coomer 3-pack? You either have spend at least couple hundred dollars to attend SDCC in person, or know someone who is attending SDCC, fight amongst other consoomers, scalpers, and bots when the figures intermittently come in stock at random times, like 4-9am in the morning for 2-3 days, or import from Hasbro Pulse UK/EU and pay $60-80 shipping + local tax, or buy it from ebay scalpers for >$200? Influencers are saying that it would be up for preorder on pulse, while they have connections and all have the set in-hand. I never had a fair chance to get this set at MSRP
>>11527235It's time
>>11528785Hey I'm only selling it for $150 on ebay thank you very much
>>11528785This was how it was for literal years before covid hit and cons were put on hold. Way to show how new you are.
>>11528785I honestly wouldn't call them coomer figures. Sure, they're wearing far less clothing than the average figure, but the head sculpts are atrocious, the overlays are oversized and provide no cleavage, and they're wearing boots. You're better off buying blank bodies and custom heads.
>>11528810Sorry I'm ass focused so I'm gonna remove the paint to make them not have underwear and be content with the standard Marvel Legends ass sculpt in flesh tone
>>11528785Half of everything is luck.
>>11527235Her Fantastic 4 work out look.
Ain't no way it will happen
>>11529104In before naked jump ROAP Jen
Almost wanna pick up the matching team, but Reed and Thing are more expensive than I thought. That ugly Sue's still cheap though. >>11529104I gotta pick up that Fortnite workbench set for her
Did Pulse UK announce an early closure to the Mephisto PO's anywhere? I was holding off as undecided and figured I had another 2 weeks to make up my mind.
>>11529301That's weird. When you switch it to US mode it's still in stock. Wonder if it's a glitch.
>>11528810>I honestly wouldn't call them coomer figures. You do realize people are just taking the piss when they use that word, right? It isn't meant to be a serious commentary of the figures in question. It's just memes.
>>11529451Anon, we have a whole thread and discord server dedicated to the weirdos that jerk off to plastic action figures. I really don't think the people here projecting their degeneracy are being factious.
>>11529466Recent evidence shows a bunch of those Roman statues of nude women and men were actually in dedicated jerk off rooms and were just very expensive porn so this is just human nature
>>11529451>>11529509 is a perfect case for what I'm talking about. These guys think of nothing but sex, it's kind of boring and one note tbqh.
>>11529466For how much these figures cost compared to your Walmart-tier ML shit, ain't no one jerking off on them.
>>11529530>It's not normal for humans to think about sexRetarded zoomer raised by a screen instead of parents
>>11529534Way to misconstrue what I said. It's that you ALWAYS think about it, cum brained retard.
Who's getting it today?
>>11529604No desire to pay hasbro 50 bucks for a Rogue headsculpt
>>11529604I am to resell it
How's the mess toys spider man in terms of quality and joint range? Is it good? Does anyone have it?
>>11529412I know. It sucks. I've messaged them, so will let you know what they say. If i've missed it then I guess the decisions been made for me.
>>11529604EHRMAGERD!!ITS SOOPERHEROES!!!AND THEY'RE PLAYING BASKETBAWL!!!!Yeah, no fucking thanks.
>>11529604nah, this is shit other than rogue’s hair, for a $50 head swap I might as well just buy a custom one.
>>11529761The only custom head available looks like shit
>>11529604I grabbed it, may cancel later though. Head looks like a nice replacement for the standard 97 body, but I'm also looking into swaps for the Savage Land version. I know the skin won't match the Rogue body, but it could match Shanna's, in which case I'll go through the trouble of swapping over all the overlays and boots.
>>11529792I'm in the same boat. I initially really wanted it, but then when it came time to order i just felt apathetic at best about the set. I pre ordered it anyway since it won't cost me anything if I decide to cancel it down the line, but I just don't know. The only really just have set for me is the new Cyclops and Jean Grey one.
>>11529666I'm sure someone has it, but I don't. Can't help you, sorry.
>>11529604I only want sexy Gambit
>>11529804Why did you answer if you didn't have anything to contribute?
>>11529817Because he asked?
>>11529804>>11529826Kys
>>11529666I've got the Kaine version. Range is great, just about the same as AY Spidey 2.0, and it feels like an authentic product. Paint on mine is applied well and articulation was smooth but tight out of the box.
>>11529666Seeing some shady listings at half the price from otherwise high reputation stores pop up on ali, so what I figured was a marketing stunt from that one youtube guy/shill might actually be true and this KO got a KO already, so watch out for that.Still waiting for my Kaine to arrive, it'll be another week at least.
>>11529826You don't need to answer if you don't have it. Now go commit suicide.
>all this Gamerverse stuff coming outWhere the fuck is Juggernaut alreadyAlso what's the chance of that Sabertooth from the recent Wolverine and Sabertooth set getting released as a Gamerverse? It's basically spot on to the MVC2 sprite.
>>11529869He asked a question so I answered it. Why are you so butthurt?
>>11529950Because you're a waste of space
>>11529604>when boss says you need to figure out a way to use those canceled Starting Lineup figures Lol
>>11529969 You're being really mean for no reason. Maybe you're the waste of space.
>>11529993It's so weird, because stuff like the new TV Star Wars black series stuff has to pegwarm yet NOTHING collapsed as fast as the starting lineup. They must have sold a total of like 500 figures or something to get canned so fast. I wonder if even Eternals outsold them
>>11529836>what I figured was a marketing stunt from that one youtube guy/shill might actually be true and this KO got a KO alreadyWhat? Which YouTube guy?
>>11530052The licensing for sports figures is outrageous. You have to pay out the NBA, the team, the player, the shoe company, shit someone mentioned they may have had to pay fucking Spalding to use their logo on the basketballs. They're just too expensive to be viable. Plus I feel like sports in general is kind of on the downward in terms of popularity.
>>11529836I think you're right
>>11530122Why is McFarlane able to do his sports statues so easily?
>>11530138It isn't any easier for him. Todd just really like sports so he puts up with it.
Hasbro need only compare the sales of the Snap 3 pack to the dismal failure of the Rogue Gambit pack to realize, the equation is very simple. Less female clothes=more sales.
>>11530241>more limited thing sells out faster than less limited thingShocking, I know.
>>11530247How do you know how many were made of each item and put up on Pulse?
>>11529666Just check youtube.>>11529836>marketing stuntMaybe. It would be in their interest to expose someone who will shit up their rep. They did expose bad KO's like revoltech Joker, Batman, Ultron and Catwoman.
>>11529101>>11529201If only those faces/hair were swapable.
3-pack or 97? Some combination of both? Spring for the Mafex?
>>11530358What?
>>11530362He is asking for an opinion whether to get savage land 3 pack jean, xmen 97 marvel legend jean or mafex jean.
>>1153035897 has the best balance on sculpt and accuracy, only reason to get the 3pack is the accurate tong like outfit, you get a worse body tho, Mafex is alright, but the faces aren't good enough for its price.
>>11529836I know he communicates directly with CT/Mess but I like seeing news on what they're doing. Really hope they go through with that Venom and then give us Anti and blue repaints. >>11530064Probably Action Display.
Next legends haslab?
>>11530387Yeah, it's just really fishy to get the first report of a KO from the brand itself, they could have just faked it to boost their own listings.Personally, I'm hoping they get to Spider-Ben eventually. Can't believe they're doing Chasm of all things.
>>11530426>it's just really fishy to get the first report of a KO from the brand itself,Even legit toy companies do that with reviewers dont they? And its not far fetch that ct communicates with him since iirc he's the one who made them prominent in the first place.
>dumb bell joints>cloth capes>rubber torsoswhy do people want hasbro to fall for these memes?
>>11530400I doubt we will get one after the failure of the hellcharger
I have so many figures that I think there are only a few more I'd really want them to make.>Man-Spider>Vermin>Spider Slayer (of some sort)>a clear Venom figure>a better Silver Sable (the one we got is good if you kit bash it though)I can't think of much else that I really want badly. Maybe significantly better versions of precious figures too. Thats about it.
>>11530400I honestly dont care about vehicles of any kind. I'd rather a big monster.
>>11530582The problem is how much they charge for vehicles. Everybody knows they are not that pricey to make, they don't use as much plastic as they pretend. Just look how much McFarlane and Spinmasters charge for theirs, SM Batwing is fucking huge and was released at $60.
>>11530712I mean, Ramen isn't that expensive for the offerings either. I'm on the fence if I want to put a skull decal on the van or leave it blank but mod the inside.
>>11530726Ramen lacks a retractable built-in minigun and other fun options/gadgets
>>11530726I dunno, for what you get, the Ramen van is kinda pricey at $160 imo. Especially since I spent like $20 for the Scoob Mystery Machine. I think they even make a regular version you can buy and spray paint black.
>>11530352If I ever pick up another one, I'd be willing to give it a shot. Sucks that GI Joe is the only line willing to have dedicated functionality for it.
How much would it cost Hasbro to put a top coat on their figgies?
>>11530374>savage land 3 pack jeanwhat
>>11530582Most people don't even know a version of Ghost Rider exists who even drives something besides a motorcycle, and even fewer care, and even fewer still would devote that much space to the car.
>>11530828He either messed up or he thinks Shanna can stand in for a sexy Jean
>>11530828>>11530832Thinking he meant Love Triangle 3 pack
>>115307570.00000001 of a cent per 100 figures. Not in the budget unless figures receive a $15 price increase sorry.
>>11529201Should've grabbed then when they were super cheap. I got them just before they started going up in price a few months ago. Glad I did, especially since they announced this Jen like 2 weeks after I got my set.
Any customizers have good advice for turning one color of transparent plastic into another? I saw Spirit Spider at Walmart and I feel like his head would look way better on the Danny Ketch Rider figure than the one they gave it, but of course I'd need to make the flame hair orange/yellow/red.
>>11531196>turning one color of transparent plastic into anotherThat would be really hard unless the base color was already close to the one you wanted it in. The best way you can do it is that you'll have to remove the flame 'fro and re-cast it in translucent resin. You can have your chosen color in mind already mixed into the resin or you can repaint it with translucent paint from a hobby shop.Besides that, you can only repaint it which obviously defeats the point of the translucent look you're going for. I do agree that the actual skull and volume of the flame looks like it has great custom potential and I don't know why Hasbro just keeps retooling the same skull sculpt and flame pattern for different Ghost Riders.
>>11530400is the van logo, the same one as that special one? Looks different no? which means another punisher fig could be possible
>>11531011Yeah bbts shows they had the full wave for 60 at one point, shame. Think I'll just stick to grabbing Sue and Reed, use the walgreens Johnny, and forgo Ben for now.
Finally bit the bullet and bought the Quasar that had been hanging around at my local comic shop. Would have preferred the Capullo full body outfit personally but this one still works for a 90s era Avengers roster version. But was more disappointed that we didn't get any green lantern esque energy constructs instead of two generic fire effects pieces
>>11529604Why would I? This is shit garbage only low IQ Hastards would gobble this up.
>>11530906Dang it.
>>11530757Well let's just assume its the higher end and costs roughly $0.12 to add a top coat plus labor and other factors. Mark up is usually 3 or 5x so we just multiply that and get. $0.12 × 3 = $0.36 $0.12 × 5 = $0.60so with a 5x mark up on the higher end youre looking at a 60 cent increase on all the figures with the added top coat. Im sure your wallet is crying just hearing that. Hasbro fucking sucks.
>>11531443Thank God you don't work in business. Your stupidity knows no bounds
>>11531443>Making up scenarios in your head just so you can kvetch about HasbroY'all are really something else.
>Netflix DD ML costs an arm and a leg>All ML DD's cost way more than they should>Mafex DD scalper rates>BA ML DD sells out instantlyWhy the fuck is DD so popular? I literally only have a ToyBiz DD which came in a City multipack.
>>11531535Daredevil is cool as fuck. Plus, he doesn't really get a ton of figures made, what you listed is pretty much it.
If anybody here owns all Threezero dlx iron man figures, what are the top 3 for feeling and poseability?I own the mk7 + iron spider and love them. Now I am considering the mk 85, 46, 43, 5, 6, and war machine 2
>>11531274are you old enough to be on this site?
>>11531535I don't know why people buy official DD figures, just take a blank body, paint it red and there you go
>>11531595Because I don't want to paint it myself? And where am I supposed to get a DD head if I just got a blank body? You didn't really think this through...
>>11531535CT toys is gonna save us.
>>11531650lol, lmao even. After Spider-Ben I don't think I'll be getting any more CT products. Quality is just too inconsistent. Especially with the tariffs now in place, they're not worth it at all.
>>11531658They did a better job with the AY Spider-man. In general their weblined Spider-man tend to be the hardest to replicate, the more simple designs come out fine paintwise. So Daredevil will probably be decent since it has very little paintDid you have an issue with joint tolerances?
>>11531664The joints don't feel the best tbqh, but my biggest issues were the fingers on the hands. On the thwipping hands his fingers were all melted looking almost. It was weird. I have Brown Suit Wolverine who feels much better quality, it's just overall Ben felt like a cheaper figure. That's why I say their quality varies too much.
>>11531676Sorry to hear, man. Mine have all been pretty good. Maybe some paint is subpar here and there but otherwise I've had no major issues. At least none a little shock oil won't fix. Hoping CT can get around the tariffs somehow, or at least not be raised too much by them. An extra 80 for a 20-30 dollar figure, or any for that matter is retarded. Do anything but clap about it and you get hounded though.
>>11529666Pretty good, would say maybe a lil better than Legends. Doesn't feel loose and the plastic feels nice. Good accesories and the base Is something else
>>11531702>Good accesoriesShame it's missing normal thwipping hands, hopefully they ship them with the next ones.
>>11531709Black Suit Spidey represents Venom though, he webs from the back of his fist/hand.
>>11531710Yeah, but he wore cloth too for a long while. And all the brooding special occasions since then, especially for the past decade or so as a biyearly event. Fucking house of ideas, man.
>>11531709Gonna be honest, i dont care too much about the thwipping hands
>>11531586At least that poster is posting content and not trolling like are Faggot
>>11531747I don't know why people don't embrace ball ankles and wrists. They are clearly superior to hinge.
>>11531747Fair, it's just a small touch keeping it from being perfect to me.
>>11531650u mean mafex
>>11531960I mean the Mafex is already long gone if you’re looking for a decent priced option, ship has sailed nearly a year ago.
>>11531964But it's not that
>>11531969Anon please follow the reply chain. Anon was complaining about Mafex DD hitting scalper rates.
>>11531972well i’m talking the DD:BA mafex that will be made in a year lol
>>11531747The sloppy paint really puts me off this even though I otherwise would be interested. Does anyone have Kaine yet? I already have an import Black Suit, but I wouldn't mind a CT Kaine if he isn't shit.
>>11532375>the last time Marvel Comics were good
>>11532385>Quesada era>good
>>11532400Eh, it depends on how you feel about sacrificing character development for story. Personally, I rather enjoyed how interconnected the entire Marvel line was at the time.
>>11532400He's right though. You may not like it but Bendis is what made the Avengers popular again. Without New Avengers bringing Cap and Iron Man into the A list status they are now, the MCU wouldn't have been what it was. Grant Morrison and Joss Wheadon made the X-Men relevant again. The basis of what they are today comes from those stories. Costumes were updated for the modern era, yet still recognizable and not overly busy and full of seam lines like they are today. The art was good and the stories, were for the most part, interesting and took things in interesting directions. Leagues better than the trite we get today and a breath of fresh air from the 90s Xtreme nonsense.
>>11532669Thank God anime won
>>11532669Bendis? Like the writer?
>>11532669He didn't make Avengers popular. His first four years on the book only sold well because of mandatory crossovers he demanded and variant cover schemes. The fact that the Avengers movies was one giant repudiation of Bendis and his shit drove him insane to the point of trying to hijack the GOTG comic purely so he could fake claim it was inspired by his work, using preproduction material in that run that ultimately got him shit kicked from being involved in the movies and openly repudiated by Gunn, who explicitly stated he took material from Dana's run instead
>>11532679This. Bendis Avengers is what people point to in order to make a point to how God awful the Quesada era was in terms of exhibit A.
>>11532669What a load of shit.
>>11532473Quesada should have to endure a horse kick to the balls every day for the rest of his life for Origin alone.
You ens be talking about Bendis, while I meant that JMS Thor/Brubaker Cap/Knauf Iron Man was the last good era for those characters. Just before Civil War ruined everything.
>>11532679The Avengers were b-list at best at the point Bendis took over. Marvel might as well have been the X-Men and Spider-Man shop at that point in the 90s and 00s. Bendis bringing Spider Man and Wolverine on to the team attracted tons of readers and turned Avengers into the flagship book the drove the rest of the Marvel Universe for decades. You may not like his writing but New Avengers is what made the Avengers cool again.
>>11532690>Just before Civil War ruined everything.what a mid take bruh. If it weren’t for civil war we wouldn’t have spiderman and that kino airport fight
>>11532690JMS Thor was just after Civil War. He came back after Cap died. And Brubaker Cap took place during Civil War. Cap literally died in Brubakers Civil War tie in. I know it was 20 years ago wt this point, but do you guys even read comics?
>>11532698Not for 20 years, no, I don't anymore.
>>11532698This. I don't know what the fuck that anon is smoking when he's referring to stuff post-Civil War.
>>11532695He burnt the franchise to the ground and turned into a poor man's JLA. NO OBE fucking wanted Peter or Logan on the Avengers and Bendis pretty much turned Avengers into a Zombie husk that STILL hasn't fully recovered from. And again, his run was ground zero fir the worst of the worst of the Quesada era as Bendis wholesale HATED the Avengers everyone loved and who were front and center of the movie franchise IE Vision, Wanda, Clinton, and Lang/Pym.
>>11532375I really hate that I gotta keep waiting for a good Hulk. Why hasn't Mafex done one yet?
>>11531798My guess is that you need to use good plastic for that or else they'll bend or break.
>>11532695Avengers and the other Heroes Reborn/Heroes Return books had been some of Marvel's better selling books from 1996 onwards. Avengers had been in the top 10 list or just outside it for until George Perez left the book in late 2001, and was still usually a top 25 title even in the Chuck Austen issues just before Bendis arrived. The idea that Avengers was some irrevelant B- or C-tier title nobody cared about is a false narrative, pushed largely by people who are salty about characters they didn't care about suddenly getting popular with normies.Putting Spider-Man and Wolverine on the Avengers obviously made it sell, but you know what also made Avengers sell? Putting star artists on the book and actually treating it like an important title instead of running the company like "hur dur Marvel is just X-Men and Spider-Man and nobody else matters". Historically when Avengers gets a star artist and gets treated like a book that matters, it tends to sell, and the movies have proved that if you put the core Avengers characters in front of audiences and handle them well, people like them. People liked them more than they liked some other Marvel heroes that the nerds considered were "meant to be more popular".
>>11532823>Why hasn't Mafex done one yet?I'm wondering this too, they've started to dabble into bigger characters in their DC line and they're doing a (MCU) Hulkbuster so maybe there's a chance?I'd also like to see what Revoltech would do but for whatever reason import companies are avoiding the Hulk.
So tell me Marvel gen, will this Amazon exclusive Mandarin 2 pack sell out or hit clearance because it's so bad?Correct answer gets to either get it before it skyrockets in price or crashes through the floor into clearance
>>11533227The Hood Part 2?
>>11533227Damn, I like the colors on Iron Man a lot more than the single release. Kinda tempted to double dip on this one.
>>11533227I knew they weren't going to do a classic yellow peril or even his Lo Pan look but I figured they'd at least do the late 80's armor look that Psylocke is imitating in her Lady Mandarin getup. Suit and tie is the easiest choice economically but it's still lazy as hell.
>>11533231I want to put this head on the body of the Logan Professor X so that he looks like a ranting old man in a retirement home
>>11533227I actually really like this
>>11533227Terrible Mandarin guess I'm going to have to go forward with my custom after all. I was really hoping for a retro carded figure in his 90s animated look
>>11533286I think literally anything would've been better than the generic suit look from the 2000's
>>11533276I'm already tempted to get this set, stop making it more enticing...
>>11533297Wait for a sale, that way if it sells out you'll be released from having to pay $50 for a suit and a repaint, or it will go on sale and you'll be able to get it for less.
>>11533241I prefer the desaturated colors of the original desu, and the engineering updates are not that impactful. A ball jointed waist would've looked a lot better, and some hinges on the shoulder pads would help a lot more than a butterfly joint. That's the first thing I modified on the original. I do want the unmasked head though.
Why do people like the 00s Extremis armor more than the iconic 80s armor?
>>11533328>like the 00s Extremis armor moreNo one said that
>>11533328The Extremis suit was his go to look for years and Avi Granov, the guy who designed it, designed the suits for the first MCU Iron Man movie so people like the design for that reason. It also looks more like a an actual technological suit of armor than his 80's look. Also, he had several quite prominent looks in the 80s, starting out with the classic Red and Gold, and moving to the Silver Centurion and eventually the Neo Classic. So, which one are you actually referring to?

>>11533275This. Lo Pan look is my favorite, but robes aren't (((toyetic))) and cloth goods are of the devil. They didn't even pick the fun and gaudy white suit, but the most boring Fraction look there is.
>>11530733Im pissed that the armory had great ideas and writing and a lot of it never transferred into the main comic books
>>11533231wondering if this body would look good with the Dr.Strange head for a casual outfit.
>>11532669It was the Ultimates which rode The Avengers into fame. Why do you think Fury was Samuel Jackson and Iron Man was Robert Downey Jr?
>>11534035Theres plenty of generic suited figures to use
>>11533734Ming the Merciless?
>>11534037It's the other way around, the Ultimates were made with the idea of a more cinematic marvel, you can see how the X-Men resembled their movies so Ultimates followed along the same line. It worked pretty well so why not bring this to the screens, but they took very little from the comics (ie Cap WWII costume), the biggest thing being hiring Sam Jackson, in the end the MCU something very different from both 616 and Ultimates. Just look at Iron Man, after the first movie it's not Tony Stark anymore, it's Downey Jr. in a mocap suit making quips
>>11534293This. Sam Jackson let Marvel use his likeness with a specific clause that they cast him as Nick Fury should they ever do a movie. Sam Jackson Nick Fury has been a thing since 2002.
>>11534342Wonder if Kurt Russell would have worked for a likeness. He wore an eyepatch before.
>>11534350For whatever reason Mark Millar wanted Bryan Hitch to draw him like Sam Jackson. This was wasn't out of the ordinary for Mark Millar comics. In Wanted he specifically had JG Jones draw the lead character to look like Eminem.
Looks like Weapon X is shipping from Amazon Mexico, so I guess it will be keeping Target pegs cozy pretty soon.

I wish they'd at least have given the Mandarin a less neutral expression. He almost always has that stern "how dare you speak to me peasant" look on his face, this figure looks like a guy waiting for his bus.
This is not classic look Mandarin. I do not buy.
>>11534368you think he will not sell well?
>>11534342Too bad, since he acts nothing like Nick Fury should and just Pedro Pascal's his role (ie. just acts like himself in every role).
>>11533503>nowthat design is from 2011...
>>11534425Bitch, he's been depicted as Nick Fury probably longer than you have been alive. Get over it already.
Did the new IM/Mandarin 2 pack actually show up as in stock or what? It says it's currently unavailable.
>>11534474I don't think I ever saw it in stock, and I was right on the page when they had it up and kept refreshing since. A shame if everyone just got it out of FOMO. Unlike some, I actually wanted this look of the character.
>>11534487If it didn't show in stock when they listed the page there might have been an issue or something. Usually Amazon stock stays up for at least a few hours. I did notice one of the product images was jacked up, so maybe Amazon was having issues?
Its back up
>>11534505Yep, seems like Amazon was just being slow putting it up.
So does Mafex Wolverine not have interchangeable arms or his cowl? They haven’t fully shown off his pics. Strange if so because the gave DP wolverine arms
>>11534355I think Millar said he wanted to base it off an actor who embodied coolness and toughness in the same way classic Fury was inspired by Lee Marvin. So he and Hitch decided Samuel L Jackson because he had a reputation as the bad motherfucker actor in the late 90's/early 2000s
>>11534405One never knows. He does come with relaxed hands with popped claws, but he's also not a quantum leap in figure design, and Target exclusive MLs haven't been.doing so hot lately. I hate the buck, but I'm in for the heads, hands and receiver boxes with the hopes I'll find a 3P body I can work with.

>>11534342>Sam Jackson let Marvel use his likeness with a specific clauseNo, there wasn't any special fucking clause. Marvel simply traced his likeness. You dumb retards pull shit out of your ass on things like this.
>>11534681It probably wasn't something official or written or anything, but it's pretty well known Sam Jackson let them use his likeness in exchange for being in the eventual movie.
>>11534355>the lead character to look like Eminem. And his father is Tommy Lee Jones and the female lead is Halle Berry. I don't know if they used more celebrities but Wanted was of full of them I was surprised nobody ever sued.>>11534691Nah the other guy is right, Jackson came much later >However, Marvel Studios initially discussed a potential film role with George Clooney, who turned it down after reviewing some of the comic book source material and finding Fury to be too violent of a character.[6] According to the audio commentary of the 2007 film Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, director Tim Story said the script originally contained Nick Fury, but the role eventually became that of General Hager (played by Andre Braugher), as having Fury would have forced 20th Century Fox to purchase the rights to that character.>Jackson was then offered the role, initially signing a nine-film contract with Marvel to portray Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic UniverseGeorge Clooney, goddamn. Got the Kaine Scarlet Spider. Kinda shocking how fun AY 2.0 is to play with, even with my poor posing skills, Revoltech fucked up bad on not committing to Spider-Man and failing to do market research on designs. Paint on upper body and masks is good, fingers are so-so but not bad, got a small black blotch on the underside of one of the thwipping hands that's luckily out of sight. Right thigh doesn't line up completely, had a faint teensy black splatter at the hand's height that looks wipeable. I'd say it's pretty damn good for a KO, way better than the CT Scarlet Spider I got, just wish it had a third head and the stingers were harder plastic, it's a bitch to straight them out once they bend. >>11533523Oh nice, thanks for the heads up.

>>11535513>way better than the CT Scarlet Spider I got,It's unfortunate, but the Mafex Spider-man KOs(comic, black suit, Spider-ben) are the weakest releases they've made. Maybe it's because they're the most popular, but they seem to be cranked out and subject to more QC issues than most of their other pieces. Or maybe it's needing to paint all the webs.

>>11535854Funny how the edgy black suit Spider-Man stories weren't even the ones with the symbiote, but people associate them.
>>11535859To be fair, the only reason he even wore the black suit again at that point in time was because he wore it in Spider-Man 3 and Marvel was doing it's movie synergy even all the way back in 2007.

>>11537018Then you'd be wrong
>>11537018Correct yamaguchi absolutely MOGS legendslop
>>11537018>>11537221I said it yesterday, but I can't justify getting the Maximum when I already have the AY 2.5. It's just a vastly superior figure. Maybe if he were in his classic costume, but I'm out for his modern one. Kind of a weird hodgepodge they're doing with the Maximum line. You have Spider-Man that was based of Todd's art, and is considered classic. You have a Hulk who has heads based on 3 modern depictions, and now Wade with his modern costume and Coop, a character from a somewhat niche 2000s book. Kind of all over the place with this Hasbro.
>>11536869Mostly the articulation. It was just more limited than I was expecting and it was rather frustrating. I just couldn't get it into any actually good looking pose. I still have it, but it sits in a box in my garage now. Those old Marvel Selects are pretty trash, even their sculpting on the majority of them is pretty antiquated when looking at todays figures.
