Anyone got this set? I've looked at some reviews and one thing I can't tell is the brick quality. The plastic has that cheap happy meal toy look to it but it might only look like that on the photos. In one photo the brick had tons of scratches. How do they compare to Lego? How is the precision, surface uniformity, consistency between pieces, connection strength?

They are good
>>
I've read multiple reports of incorrect or missing parts. It's enough for me to skip this intial wave of sets, and see if they can resolve their QC problems.
>>
I've seen a lot of reports of QC issues, mostly missing pieces. For what they're asking price-wise you're better off with a Lego Speed Champions set unless you really, really want one of the Brick Shop cars. Most diecast guys are getting them for the exclusive cars, anyway.
>>
They completely miss the point of building block toys. You build the car and that's it. You cannot build anything else out of this set. I get these look better than Lego Speed Champions, but if you go for accuracy, just buy a die cast model. I do not get the appeal.

legotards never take their sets apart and just keep them on the shelf

>hurrr specialized parts you can't build anything else
>hurrr lego finds heckin creative solutions using their brick system rather than make specialized parts
Do Legofags throw the same shitfit whenever Lego introduces a new element, or does it only apply to competing brands? A "specialized" part's use is only limited by a builder's imagination.

Show me a single thing built out of those parts that isn't a car. I'll wait.

Are they good? Price per part ratio seems better on these than legos

How is quality?

Should I buy them?

Yes

I don't have this one, but I'm definitely planning to buy it.
1. It looks cool.
2. Isn't expensive.
3. One review will say one thing, another review will say another thing, the only way for you to know for sure is to try it out yourself.
