Is the hiya 1991 heat ray version of godzilla the same sculpt as the regular release? The regular looks too shiny to me and also has a bit of a soft sculpt.

Godzilla do like how it looks even if he did get hit by a reduce size (Probably to scale better with Megaguirus). But the fact that the dude who made the suit help make the figure makes me think this is the closest we ever got to a X-Plus figure in toy form.

>>11550546Can't say since this is basically Bandai's answer to Playmates figures, problem is these figures are even more expensive than MMS figures and Playmates figures combined I'm pretty sure for what is of similar quality of Playmates.
Turns out that leak from the start of the year turned out to be further real with them shadow dropping both Mecha King Ghidorah 2.0 and Godzilla 1989 with SX2. Ngl, I'm kind of mixed about the MKG 2.0 since it's standing upright when the KG 2.0 was hunched. (Guess it's because they based the mold off of the promotional pose they've been using for years now). As for Godzilla 1989 its cool this is one of the rare instances where Godzillas mouth is closed which think they didn't do since Tokyo SoS Godzilla, but also that they used the land suit as the mold for this instead of the water suit like they did before. So now you can basically have both the Shinjuku (land suit) and the Hokkaido (water suit) as choices for BioGoji.
