So in case you don’t know, NECA made a Donatello’s Lab from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or TMNT for short. This was a $300!!! made to order set. When they finally started shipping it out, people were getting multiple sets even if they only ordered one. NECA neglected to say anything about this for like a month, until they sent everyone a threatening email that they need to return the set. Their claim is that they were “changing the warehouse system” and it led to duplicated orders. Well, now they’re saying that if you don’t return the set, you will be charged for any additional sets, despite this being a clear violation of FTC laws. What does /toy/ think of this situation? Is NECA in the right? Are people who keep their labs stealing from collectors?

The honor system does mean that you should send the extra one back simply on good general principle, though. The clam shell/package was crushed below the 3lbs of protein powder and the right arm of the toy was actually broken at the upper arm part.
