hasbro's goat isn't even widely available yet and they're already making "the better goat"also interesting that TT's releasing a hasbro-sized stadium, albeit with a new gimmick
Should I just cancel my shark scale order on beysnbricks? I think I'd be better off just getting it from Amazon at this point

Idea for a new blade type. I call them "+ Blades". While most beys receive mold changes to improve their durability, + blades are radical mold changes made to improve a blade's performance relative to the popular meta. These changes can range from significant weight increases to improved weight distribution. Any blade is eligible for a + variant, as long as it's at least two years old and isn't still popular with competitive bladers.
>>11543838>as long as it's at least two years old and isn't still popular with competitive bladers.Learn to let go. Nothing can be good forever.
>>11543838I also have an idea for a new blade type, it's called a "cram blade" with the idea being that they are shaped specifically to create beys of optimal crammability
>>11543838That just sounds like pointless busy work. What Beyblade X is going through is seen in Pokemon, fighting games, team based shooters, even previous iterations of Beyblade. Some parts are just good and even if they did decide to go back and make side grades to blades that underperformed, that doesn’t automatically mean everybody is going to start using them. Even worse people may believe nothing’s really changed and keep using Wizard Rod regardless which would beg the question ‘Why did they pour resources into the endeavor in the first place?’We don’t know how many years longer X is going to go on, but better to run its course then try and course change itself three years in, and if there’s a blade you enjoy but wish were better, ah well.
anyone find any cool combos with WB (WallBall)?been liking it on silver wolf and naturally it helps wizard rod stay up straight even longer than usual
I'm convinced that the Bey Bundle two packs are priced that low because the Wizard Rods are manufacturing rejects. Two out of the three I've bought have had Rods under 35g, with the third one at 35 on the dot. All of the TT yellow ones and Hasbro green ones I've had have been at least 35.3 or higher.
I want more winders and launchers of different colors
i'm a boomer who collected during the plastic era and completely lost interest at the start of the metal era. i'm always surprised whenever i see that the metal ones are still being made and are still popular
>>11544971Anon, X is generation 4 of beyblade, there was a whole other plastic gen between metal and X.They're actually remaking plastic and metal Gen beys in the new system, if you wanted to check this era out.
Three episodes into the X anime thus far. Waited until Netflix had all of season 1 since A) I don't care that it's dubbed and B) I've been reading the manga so I already know the major story beats. The bey battles themselves are fine, but the one thing that's going to take the wind out of my sails are the lauches. Growing up with OG I remember teams having launchers made out of guitars, sports equipment, weaponry, it made the Beyblades themselves feel more personal as if they were an extension of the blader wielding it. Same thing when I got back into Beyblade with Burst. Seeing the major characters have their own launch techniques and stances was fun, if a bit wild but that was part of the charm.Metal Saga and X the beyblade feel so store bought, which makes sense because that's literally the case in both eras. Since anybody can own a Shark Edge like how Hikaru wasn't the only blader to wield an Aquario, it takes away from the uniqueness of the individual beyblades and the bladers save the ones that use the UX and CX beys. Either way I already know how this'll all play out, so I'm just enjoying the ride.
>>11544971>i'm always surprised whenever i see that the metal ones are still being made and are still popularWell first off, like >>11545053 said they're not "still" being made, it's just that the current generation is also metal. But also, why are you surprised? The metal beys make for better matches that are more exciting to play and watch, so of course they're popular.
>>11545127It's probably more of a "that still exists?" kinda surprise. I know I felt that way when I first saw Burst back in 2017 or 2018
>>11545148I'm honestly more surprised that we're only on the 4th generation, it's kind of impressive that they actually commit to their systems for as long as they do instead of pushing out new shit and forcing people to replace everything for competitive play constantly like most games do.
>>11545148Funny thing about that. Hasbro's MFB run went from 2010 to 2014; meaning, if you knew how to import, you were getting Beyblade Burst the year after Hasbro wrapped up MFB(Burst premiered in 2015).
>>11545065Bird's anime loss to Ciel is much worse than the manga version.
>beysandbricks still hasn't shipped my Shark preorder>other sites just have the set in stock now
>>11545599If it makes you feel any better, amazon won't send mine for like a week
so without getting too into politics, should I just assume my sol eclipse pre-order on beys is going to get cancelled sooner or later?
>>11545835No?
I sent in a ticket to BeysnBricks to ask if my payment didnt go through or something like that. this is what I got yesterday. Goddamn
>>11545931I got the same 2-sentence response with a "this week" and it still hasn't. Tomorrow's Saturday, so I guess mine will be a "next week" too.
>>11545338Wait, I thought Bird wins against Kamen Z in the anime compared to his self burst in the manga. Also I found out that Black Shell was changed to Obsidian for some nebulous reason.
>>11546182>Black Shell was changed to Obsidian for some nebulous reason. The name changes are a combination of copyright and western sensibilities, black shell and silver wolf are too generic for hasbro, the hells line was changed because Americans suffer from satanic panic to this day.
>>11546206>Americans suffer from satanic panic to this day>this same country thought replacing Kreis Satan with Kinetic Satomb, the fusion of fucking Satan and tomb was a good ideaI'm American as well, but some of the choices we make are beyond stupid. At the same time they were able to get by Deathscyther with Doomscizor to make it work, but they really fucked up with Incindeo.
I can taste it again. A Shinobi Shadow combo that works. I only need a 6-60 and a second copy of Dot.Without trying to sound retarded, in you guys' experience, what does 6-60 do? In my experience with 6-80, it seems to be like 4 ratchets but without bursting every battle.
>>11546798>Without trying to sound retarded>Dot
>>11546798>I can taste it again. A Shinobi Shadow combo that works. You're not going to find that. I don't know when you people are going to accept that some things are just bad no matter how many new ways you try them. If they were meant to be better than they are, they would be. You wouldn't have to keep trying to make something work.>what does 6-60 do?6-60 is a slightly more balanced 3-60 in exchange for a higher burst risk. It's only really good on 3-sided blades with more than 3 contact points, which is basically just Phoenix Wing and Knight Mail. Even then, 1-60 and 3-60 are still better choices. Dot is just a terrible part.
Five purchases into the cerberus random booster and looking at an 80 dollar guaranteed cerberus flame and only just now realized I would unironically have saved money if I just cucked and bought a full set
>>11547278Or. OR. Wait until it released outside Japan as a stand-alone? You can buy Shark Edge on its own at Target, what makes you think they won't do the same for a CX Beyblade?
>>11547327nta but I have very low hopes for the "second prize" in CX lines ever hitting stateside. never mind if you want any of the other potential picks. for the main prizes though, yeah buying the TT release is something that should only be done due to impatience. and I'm speaking as someone that spent $60 on a flame myself.that said you should never roll a random booster unless you're certain you'd be at least a little happy with whatever you pull. it's a gamble, and the main thing about gambling is that you usually lose.
>>11547334That's the thing, unless you want to gamble and maybe get extras of certain parts in case you do get the prize bey from the random boosters, you may as well wait for the western release. This isn't the dark ages of Burst anymore, just a few extra months wait isn't going to kill anybody unless they really want something that bad as you've stated.

>>11547389>release Drop Stadium to destroy your bits>release Infinity Stadium to destroy your blades
>>11547389>>11547551They should make one with areas at different elevations to ruin your ratchets next.
>>11547726Motorized metal toothed anti-gear saws. Slightly elevated so they don't interact with the gears on bits, unless they get knocked into it and get anti spin gear flung. It's perfect for shredding ratchets.
>>11547726They already did that, the electronic stadium with the lowering center ring.

>>11547893I've been picking up the HMS repros because I'll be fucked if I'm spending $1000 on Shining God MS.
>>11548118Beyblade kind of died out around me by the time HMS was coming out. I bought the four Bladebreakers and Strata Dragoon from Toys r us, but I never found anything else after that. Silver Wolf is one of my most used Beys now, so I'd love to get Wolborg MS at some point.
The ratchet system is fundamentally broken and needs a complete redesign because as it stands, less than 40% of the ratchet pool only gets used in standard format. The rest of the ratchet pool is only usable in meme formats.
>>11548335Yeah I don't like it either, butt he problem is they're designing ratchets to be bad. If the fucking stopped doing that then we could be exploring all kind of useful combinations. Make 2 sided ratchets good again!
>>11548335Some parts are going to be useless no matter what, that's just how things are, but I do think ratchets are the weak link in terms of making height variation more important. They can never have something like plastic or Metal Fight height differences because being taller is almost always a liability that makes you weak to ratchet bursts. It's like putting a knife to your own neck.
Finally getting my Shark Set tomorrow. But for yall that have had it for a while now, what's your opinion on the 4-50 ratchet and Under Flat?I was hoping to put both on Blast Slash to lower the height, but how would either ratchet do on Tyranno Beat, or Phoenix Wing or whatever?
>>11548335>>11548882Taller ones should just be less burst proneWould be neat if there were also more ratchet gimmicks, beyond just "this one is more round than the others"
>>11549171>4-50Can burst, at least when BeybladeGeeks did their stock testing, but it's very circumstantial (and happened against Viper Tail of all beys).>Under FlatHard to control, somehow doesn't kill itself faster than Low Flat.If stock Shark Scale gets all its hits in before petering out, it'll likely win. Just be careful against heavier, taller loadouts because being short also works against it due to recoil.

What does Cyclone/Vortex do?
>>11551941The grooves push against the stadium for extra acceleration. Cyclone does this for left spin beys, vortex does this for right spin beys.
>mfw i just realized they wasted an opportunity to make 1 for assist blades with Brush Fox and instead went for spicy slash
>>11552587I finally got a Vortex, Dragoon and Whale are my worst postponements yet, and it goes crazy on the stadium.I'm kind of surprised it's not more used when it's like a crazier Rush. Yeah, Cyclone was a dud because everyone went after making Dragoon into X's Fafnir/L-Drago but Vortex goes on and on into the rail.
Has anyone had any success with it?
>thinking of buying another Drop Stadium because my Hover is getting worn and want a spare>afraid they'll announce it as a random booster select or something where I could get three for the same priceIt has to be soon, right?
>>11553702there's no way in hell I can see buying a whole arena just for one beyblade as justifiable. getting it for two you don't have yet or desperately need to replace and having a new gimmick arena to fiddle with, sure. anything else just pay the scalper fee on ebay for it individually.

>>11553906I think they mean an assist blade with its weight focused to one side.
>>11553702>>11553709It also comes with Impact Drake. I got mine on discount for it and the Hover Wyvern, which came at about the price of two Takara beys.

Man, my hover wyvern sucks, killed itself while other people's HW were taking points.I put mine on 9-60 Low Rush, idk if that was a mistake.
>>11556424It's literally a double-edged sword. You have to try to make sure you're not on the pocket side when it hits because its recoil cuts both ways.Personally, I've had better luck with it on 60 height. Try normal Rush or Kick and see how it goes.
Anybody know what's happening with the fan translations of Beyblade X's manga? Last chapter we received was early July and we're approaching mid September. What's the holdup?
>>11556570are any fan translations even still going? i would assume they stopped when viz started putting them out for free same day as japan. unless you're talking about for a language other than english?

>>11556570Release groups all got sick of Bird being a fucking loser
>>11556625>>11556685So basically wait for Viz releases down the line. If that's what's gotta happen then alright.
What are some good combos for Fox Brush?I want to make this work due a clear and demonstrated bias in tastes.
I still haven't come up with a build for Hover Wyvern. I'm between 2-60 or 7-60 Point, under the same principle that made Leon Crest the best defense type for like a week. The idea is that Point has good stamina, is good for anti-attack and attack, it lets you evade, and with Point you can contest the center of the stadium when facing stamina and defense types. For 2-60 and 7-60, it's that they guide the weight outward and I doubt any combo could take using 1-60 consistently with the fuck off recoil HW has.
>>11557574Hover's main two combos are 1-60 Low Rush and 9-60 Kick. Just use those, they've been proven to work repeatedly.
>>11557589I guess it's time I get the whole Random Booster 6 for Kick as I planned.
>>11557608Why not just snag the hasbro release of Reaper?
>>11557609I want to build a parody combo of the terror of late Bakuten meta, Bistool, with the mint blue Reaper and see if it holds up.I'm yet to hear of someone building something like Reaper Wall 7-60 Ball/Elevate and it turning out super annoying to deal with.
Has anyone tried the recently stocked Hasbro winder launchers? How smooth are they?
Spider-Man 9-60 HexaVenom 3-60 LevelI'm liking how these perform pretty well so far, any recommendations for improvement? Venom hits hard and pockets people pretty reliably and I haven't had too much issues with self-KO, and Spidey works pretty well defensively against attack types, eating the hits and fucking them up with recoil. Haven't tested them too much in competitive play yet but I was pretty pleased with how they did recently.
>>11557618Hells Scythe Ball was basically the Bistool of X before Rod came along.
>>11557735That combo is so unfair. You don't expect it popping up in tournaments at this point into the game but people still use it and you don't have a plan for it.
>>11557738It also shares the same basic shape as Bistool, too. Deathscyther also had the same shape and was banned; Coincidence?
>>11557749>Coincidence?There's just something about that form that makes a blade/attack ring/energy layer really good. After I realized the shape of Hells Scythe, I was kind of shocked that it never got banned/limited.
I feel like making 4-50's connector smaller was an unnecessary nerf. It's already a four-sided ratchet, making it fit so loose that it rattles in the seat seems like overkill.
>>11557844Yeah, not the best move on their part
I got all this by $55what do you think?
>>11558622I don't believe you just because i'm fairly certain some of those are worth more than $55 alonebut there's some really good parts there so whether you're a collector or a compfag that's an insane score if you're telling the truth
>>11558641Maybe they were thrown away by some parent that didn't care
I recently got a Unite bit and I'm having some trouble with it.The "stopper", I have no idea what it's called but I'm talking about the part that fits against the ratchet and is prominent in attack types but non-existent on stamina/defense types, is at least one millimeter thicker than average and I suspect that's why it bounces and slants when it hits the rail instead of riding it.Is it because it's too thick that there's no play/rotation in the bit to properly catch the rail?
>>11558622good deal if not bullshitting
>>11558622You got ripped off, that's a broken string launcher
>>11558622How shit are the materials?Since these are cheap bootlegs.

You guys liked the new Basalt Horogium homage?
>>11559646Is it an X-Over or a proper remake? It looks like Basalt sliced in half.
What do people use Free Ball for? I'm finding it that it's really good at defense.
>>11559832It's a stamina bit with slightly more burst resistance than Ball, but can't tilt as much. It also doesn't burn as much stamina if you're forced to X Dash because the shaft doesn't have the gears like every other bit. Silver Wolf, Wizard Rod, Blast, and Scorpio Spear are the main users of it.
>>11559646thats definitely a 9 right? I saw people so confidently convinced its a new 12 ratchet and as funny as a 12-60 would be for the clock theme thats definitely just a 9, right?
>>11559646I fear it won't be a CX because I want a blade with the weight unbalancing gimmick.>>11559850It looks either like a new -55 ratchet or a new -70, -80 one.

>>11560150It's hard to get excited or even care for these throwbacks because they're always intentionally underwhelming. I never expected Clock Mirage to be a 50-gram behemoth like Basalt was, but you'd think they'd want to make these at least somewhat viable.
Been watching the X anime for two weeks (episode a day while at work) and so far this really is the driest Beyblade has ever presented itself. I knew this from the manga already, but everything feels so impersonal. The protagonists aren’t even worth rooting for because the lineup is the best in the world, 10th best in the world (maybe), and Bird. Part of what made previous Beyblade series fun was watching the protagonist and his friends grow and learn together. Even bladers who were highly skilled from the get go like Gingka and Shu had walls and had to figure out the best way forward. X doesn’t have any walls, Multi’s wall was a sister complex, and Bird doesn’t really have a wall though I guess his would be his crippling low self esteem. The kid doesn’t think for himself and goes along with whatever X and Multi tell him to do without question. I’m not saying they’re bad, but X is clearly the most entertaining due to his childish nature and ‘hehe Beyblade go zoom’ mentality, but he’s an auto win button who beats everyone and negates the rock, paper, scissors of Beyblade.I do like the expanded backstory on what it means to be pro since the manga rushes past all that stuff mostly, but everything about X feels so safe, which is ironic given how hectic the game is in real life.
>>11560109does it at least make it so that the X5 ratchets dont have the cucked burst resistance? i dont really know how that would be doable but at least it would give you some kind of incentive to use it. even the most casual player can tell from one look that the huge gap is probably a huge disadvantage, who was this designed for?
>>11560237Nope, they specifically say that it has low burst resistance
>>11560237>who was this designed for?I wonder how TT decides which releases are going to be good and which aren't, because it's really obvious when they want something to be strong. The past few months, Beys have been like>it's okay>this is decent>Shark Scale is fucking broken>this probably won't be any goodThere's always that one release that stands above the rest because they intended for it to be better.
What was that face Jaxon/Ekusu made this chapter?
>>11560221Multi is mid tier at best. But yeah Ekusu is cool but also dry. And apparently might be a designer baby.
>>11560221Jaxon is the kind of protag where everyone around him goes through some growth but he himself doesn't because he's so OP.
>>11560302NTA, I like that archetype/role but to me it feels like the anime and the manga don't do anything with it. He's strong, laid-back, and kind of mature but he doesn't properly inspire Bird or keep Multi's ego in check, whether it is when it's high or low.I haven't caught up with season 2 but I believe it was a Tenka season so he doesn't get to do much, character-wise, either. I believe the cult that made him is coming in season 3.Being a bakuten boomer I often trail off into thinking how would the cast would appear in X and how some of them would compare, and Ekusu reminds me a lot of Brooklyn. They share the same trait of being supernaturally gifted at the game, the difference being that Brooklyn stopped enjoying it because there was no challenge to it anymore. Ekusu has a very muted version of that problem and doesn't seem to ever suffer or have a close call. He just schools every opponent and is never frustrated about it or show any feelings about nobody being up to his expectations. It really is a shame because the setting and the characters, in concept and design, are really cool.
>>11560308I get what you mean. It would help if Ekusu mentored Bird and Multi properly. I still like X for what it is and I still like it more than the Burst season's after Aiga's. So it could just be I'm too forgiving due to what I had to put up with from the later burst years(Quaddrive was too little too late imo).

>>11560308Does Multi’s ego even need to be kept in check? She’s like three to four archetypes in one character by being the bubbly girl, the reality check cynic, and the team bey maintenance. Multi also nary loses so she can clearly back up her shit talking most of the time, but it’s the fact she’s clearly the only person on Persona with a brain so it’s kind of boring how good she is at everything while Bird’s the resident idiot and X is so far above either of them that he doesn’t need to think.
>>11560778To guide you to the correct answer, white man.Clock Mirage M85 MN boutta go crazy
Wizard Rod being a perfect circle of bullshit has damned every circular bey past it, and I find that hilarious.>>11560949I wish there was a Clock that matched M85 because I'd absolutely do that.
>>11560941Bird is good at everything that isn't Beyblade.
>>11561047Bird is good at beyblade, just that nearly every battle has been some sort of bullshit with him. I don't think he's had a single fair and upfront battle yet. It's always been something screwing him over or taking him by surprise. He saw the Dragonic Break and almost immediately copied it, for example, but his beyblade couldn't handle the force of the dash. It's extremely frustrating because it feels like the author is just using Bird as a plot punching bag.
Is it absolutely necessary for all the side female characters in the Switch games to be this cute?
>>11561071Yes. I can't wait for X Evolution (haven't plaed XONE so it'll be all new to me.)
>>11561054Because Bird refuses to solve his own problems. Not once has he looked at Hells and gone, ‘How do make the most out of you.’ 9/10 he’s copying X when you’d think with how connected to the internet everything is the kid would be using the opportunity to look up OTHER pros who use balance types or something to that nature. I don’t even consider his loses bullshit, just his own stupidity. Between X whispering in his left ear to stop caring and just have fun while Multi’s whispering in the right that she and X will clean up his fuckups it’s no wonder Bird hasn’t grown as a blader.
Do you guys have a partner bey you keep using, even if it's not necessarily what might be optimal for your deck?
>>11561124It was Silver Wolf until recently. I love that thing so much and I've used it since release in every deck I've ran. It was fine because you just took the loss to Dragoon and beat everything else, but then people started getting Hover Wyvern, which destroys it, and now Shark Scale, which destroys it. It started feeling like a liability as more threats popped up.
>>11561124Even though the body might change, I'll always use Fox for my bit chip, if I can help it. But stock fox brush is my go-to.
>>11561203it sucks so much ass that swappable chips are only for CX, and most CX isn't really viable. Would love to just be able to throw my favorite chips on whatever builds I happen to be running.
>>11561124Back in the day it was a super scuffed knockoff that had its weight disk not fitting on the nubs but at the same time sandwiched so tight between the attack ring and base that I could change it's balance; imagine a super worn down Cross Griffon with a 10 Wide, and a base based on Metal Sting but worn into a metal semi flat. Centered, it was a very solid stamina type that could hit back but without the power of an actual Cross Griffon; off center, it was a proper attack type. I tuned it so often that it legit made me feel like a proper anime blader. That thing is also the reason why I liked Alter Kronos and Twisted Tempo so much and why I want a redux in X, just not whatever the fuck Clock Mirage is.Nowadays it's Tusk Mammoth because I have this weird tendency to bond with toys that have been unfairly left behind and Tusk Mammoth, being the unrecognized early defense beast that it is, was the prime victim of this in Beyblade X because you can't amount to shit if you have a slight unbalance according to some the dysgenic members of the community.I'll keep using it against whatever I can, I don't care. It curbstomps Phoenix and walls Buster but I'll see how it goes when I have to face a Shark Scale with it but when it happens we'll take it on the chin. It's not leaving my deck anytime soon.
>>11561212Eh, give it time. I hear people are using BlastWheel more so I image TT is learning, but slowly.
>>11561124I'm fond of the Leon beys and I was excited that Crest was a defense type, since those are my favorites. Really hoping that Leon Fang isn't locked behind Evobattle and we get a real release before the game comes out.
>>11561124That's every bey I use because I have a terminal disease where I prioritize shit I think is cool over any type of effectivenessPurple wizard arrow and whatever bullshit I could put it on, knight mail on gear ballRight now it's hells reaper with turbo, which I might continue using for the foreseeable future now that I have both variations of each and can color coordinate, though I'm thinking of also testing turbo on scorpio since that seems fun
Just saw the episode with Hina. She's the best thing to happen to the X anime thus far giving Bird some encouragement.
>>11561124Golem Rock, i like the motif and counterattack defense even though it gets bullied super hard by the better attack types now. plus, defense bits are insanely gimped i feel in X. i wish TT wasnt so terrified of defense types actually being able to survive these insane attackers even if it stops stall meta from occuring
>>11561124I view them as, and they remind me of, Pokemon, so my team for months at the weekly tourneys has been Phoenix Wing (my starting/first pokemon/bey), Beat Tyranno (my favorite bey), and Cobalt Dragoon metal coat (reminds me of one of my favorite legendaries, Giratina)But if I had to pick one as my partner it would be Tyranno Beat. I got first place in a "one bey, three builds" tourney with it and everyone knows me as the beat Tyranno user of the group
>>11562257I find defense to be the most exciting type to play because of the threat of attack types. In X, attack types are busted, stamina types are still boring, and balance types can't compete against the other min-maxed types. Defense types get bullied a lot but when they work they are great because they go against the full force of the game. They are viable but you need to be really good at positioning. I'm the Tusk Mammoth spammer and I play it as a defense type. It works wonders as long as my strategy works, which is tilting to catch the attacks at an angle. What I believe happens in this case is that by tilting, not just the blade but the axis takes the force of the impact and can redirect it to the stadium.I am also testing Golem Rock and Cobalt Drake as defense types and something I've found is that having a low center of gravity (through Under Needle or Low Orb), helps them to get stuck in place. A strategy I try with them is to avoid the center and gatekeep the rail by standing on the entrance at the left. You'll get smacked but you're meant to get smacked, and as long as the attack type doesn't hit the rail you can survive. As with every gen, attack types, except for phoenix, are only a threat in the first seconds of the game so all you need to do is to survive those first seconds of the match.Once I have the time I'll bring my defense combos to a tournament to prove my theory.
>see clock mirage listing on beysandbricks>it's a random booster select>but they're all literally the same parts unlike older oneshuh
>>11562423Different colors
As someone who's never not used Wizard Rod in a deck, fuck Wizard Rod. Testing against it is soul-draining since 160H has taken over, because even if you KO it, there's a chance that it won't matter. It's such a stupid blade.
>>11563248just use something else, faggot
>>11563306He has to test against that combo because everyone else will use it.
>>11563327>As someone who's never not used Wizard Rod in a deck
>>11563354>Testing against it is soul-draining since 160H has taken over
Any decent resources that make it easy to track your parts inventory against what's been released? I could just set up my own spreadsheet but if there's already some kind of tracker someone has thrown together for the parts that exist I'd rather just use that.
>>11563428>Testing against it is soul-draining since 160H has taken overWhy does it feel very late for people to understand Hexa can be a pretty good bit? Granted I can only talk from a casual’s perspective since I only ever use stock loadouts, but Hellshammer’s default setup can outlast a good portion of Beyblade so I’m a little surprised that more people hadn’t considered using Hexa or that Wizard Rod with Hexa is supposedly now a thing after more than a year.Again I don’t follow comp so pardon the ignorance of how it all works.
>>11563754I think it's just a case of people leaning into it as a counter to heavy attacker comps since it offers such good defense. It's not that hexa wasn't always good, it's just that people were focusing on other things.
I've never fucked with the TT random boosters, how do they actually work? For ClockMirage is it always gonna have the same parts, but you just don't know which color versions you're gonna get, or are you rolling the dice on just getting other random bullshit in there?
>>11563754>so I’m a little surprised that more people hadn’t considered using Hexa or that Wizard Rod with Hexa is supposedly now a thing after more than a year.Think of Beyblade parts as tools. It's not that Hexa wasn't good, it just didn't have a job to be used for until now.Wizard Rod on 9-60 Ball was all that was needed before. It handled pretty much everything, and since that was basically the best combo in the game, there was really no need to consider anything else. So Cobalt Dragoon's usage picked up in response, and then more people started getting Wyvern Hover, which can easily Burst or KO those combos. Now Shark Scale can do the same thing Hover does, if not better. Too many threats arose, so Rod adapted.Wizard Rod 1-60 Hexa can outspin Dragoon on Elevate, and it has a better time into everything else, including Hover and Scale. 1-60 is hard to Burst and gives Rod a chance to escape the pocket if it does get KO'd. It loses to other Rods and Silver Wolf on stamina builds, but they also have to worry about all the new attackers now too.
>>11563824>For ClockMirage is it always gonna have the same parts, but you just don't know which color versions you're gonna getRandom Boosters only have what's shown on the box. Each box has one random Beyblade from the list with all the parts of its stated combo. The Cobalt Dragoon from this one is always going to come with 4-55 Wall Ball for instance. This time, all three Clock Mirage's come with the same parts, just in different colors. Green Clock Mirage will only ever come with its ratchet and bit color and never with anything from black or pink Mirage.
>>11563842explains why I always see people calling the boosters a scam. Is this the first time they've guaranteed which actual blade you get from a booster (variants aside)?
>>11563855there have been a few boosters that guarantee the blade but the parts are randomized (recent example is fox brush), clock mirage is kinda odd. I think it's just cause its gimmick heavily limits what kind of ratchets it can use.
>>11563855>Is this the first time they've guaranteed which actual blade you get from a booster (variants aside)? There are "Random Boosters" released as volumes like the Cerberus Flame one, and there are "Random Booster Selects", like Clock Mirage, which are smaller boosters that contain a guaranteed variation of that featured blade. Like >>11563864 said, the Fox Brush Select came with one of three different Fox Brush Jaggy colors, but different ratchets and bits for each one. Another big one was Whale Wave. You were guaranteed a Whale Wave, but it was random which one you got.
>>11563897it's such fucking horseshit that cerberus flame is literally only available as a bullshit gacha pull import booster, and even with the antler stag release we just get fucking bumper again so you still can't get wheel without rolling the dice.
>>11564143just give it a few months and it'll get a hasbro release.really I'd be more worried about the assist blades (and chips but those are purely cosmetic) for rhino reaper and whale flame being stuck in japan
>>11564162The fact that there's so few options for assist blades and such a big chunk of it is locked behind booster imports is pretty fucked. Like I know nobody really cares because CX isn't super competitive, but I like how customizable they are and want to use them anyway.
>>11564168They definitely knew what they were doing by releasing Blast and Wheel at the same time. It didn't just so happen to be the only good CX combo.
>>11564175>only good CX combo.blast slash is all over the meta though
Boomer beyblade fans, is there any images of all the plastic gen beyblades in one place? I’m trying to find how many there are but can’t find a complete database. Everything seems to be missing pictures or product numbers seem inconsistent. I’d even be happy knowing: how many unique sculpts are there for the plastic gen? not recolors but sculpts? Did hasbro follow the same product number order as Takara? Or did they just arbitrarily organize shit differently? Also why the fuck did plastic gen have a metal master series line which is IMPOSSIBLE to read more about because they made a beyblade series called METAL MASTERS not long after? Was the metal masters series just metallic repaints of the older beyblades? Also why the fuck is it so hard to find em info on the plastic generation arenas? I’m trying to figure out how many there are or what ones exist so I can figure out which ones I want to buy. I have to sift through beyblade x shit just to have a chance of finding images of plastic gen arenas
>>11564936Well the wiki is pretty much useless as there's no "products" page. I think you'd have to find some japanese superfan with his own curated page/guide. No one back then ever thought you'd need to keep information about your throwaway plastic spinning tops online for autistic collectors like us.
>>11564936>>11564969>tfw nobody ripped the gallery sprites from Super Tournament Battle, which has every bey before G-Revolution.
>Beyblade X Xone is $30 bucks until end of SeptemberFine, I'll finally buy it. Haven't gotten a new Beyblade video game since Super Tournament Battle on GameCube.
>>11565033it's not good theres barely any actual beyblade action instead you spend like 90% of every battle in a rock paper scissors minigame i was so disappointed hopefully the next one is more beyblade.
>>11565036I honestly don't expect much from a Beyblade video game when the PS1 and GCN games were smack opponent then use your bitbeast super. Plus $30 isn't going to kill my wallet because I sure as hell wasn't paying full price.
>>11564936plasticsdb dot com>Also why the fuck did plastic gen have a metal master series line which is IMPOSSIBLE to read more aboutbecause its not called that, youre thinking of HMS which can be found at hmsdb dot com>Was the metal masters series just metallic repaints of the older beyblades?no>why the fuck is it so hard to find em info on the plastic generation arenas?unfortunately they somehow all sucked ass, the first actual good stadium was the bb-10 from after plastic gen. but you can see the product list on that first website to find the stadiums youre after
>>11561842 Cute wife.
>>11565063They have a seven years difference, I think? It would be kino to see them together after a long timeskip.
autistic question, but does anybody who's gotten the 25th set know if you can remove these shitty stickers they have in front of where they should go on the display? i want to open it up to take this lame shit out and put on the real stickers, but i also want to keep it as mint as possible.
>>11565591Yes. I warmed the sticker glue with a blow dryer and slowly peeled it off. It’s on my boys cobalt dragoon now.
I hate when certain Beytubers do the fake content creator voice. Just speak like an actual human being.
>>11565040There are plastic gen v force boxes that have a metal masters subtitle on the left side of the front of the box it’s a subline I just can’t find out how many there are. take gazzly (sp?) for example in metal masters it’s metallic red
https://x.com/aokirin512/status/1968513346803745000Nips think the Fort Hornet bit beast is cute.
anyone attend beycon 2025 in corpus?
>>11561047so is bird gonna be able to beat ekusu's bloodline and marry all of ekusu's female siblings and multi in the future?hold on, have we confirmed if multi is a chick or a guy? they might do a sneaky on us and say multi is trans just like that fox guy, multi meaning multi gendered lol

Does anyone else find the clear CX stadium disorienting or hard to look at? It's hard for me to keep track of the beys in it compared to a white or black floor for some reason.
>>11559479For a while when it was meta, Shark Edge. I saw so many people getting pockets and bursts with Shark Edge but I could not for the life of me figure out how to make it work and would always lose with it.Right now Im feeling the same thing with Hover Wyvern
I had to skip a few locals nights and I feel like I played like trash with my team the other night. Im thinking of reworking my team.Shark Scale 3-60 LevelCobalt Dragoon 5-60 ElevateTyranno Beat 1-70 Taperwould you personally make any changes to this line up? I also have Wizard Rod and Phoenix Wing waiting on the bench.
>>11568292I never owned Dragoon so I am an expert but why not try 7-60 Elevate? Why are you not using the lowest set up possible for Shark Scale? Why not Point or Unite on Tyranno?
Does anyone remember their first Beyblade?
>>11568351probably dragoon or whatever. just whatever my parents bought me. I know I really liked pic related as a kid.after that I didn't keep up with beyblades, I remember seeing burst when it first hit the west and thought "they still make those?" did buy a few later into its life but I didn't get really into it beyond just being another toy I'd fiddle with sometimes until I fell down the rabbithole with X.
>>11568351As a kid I found Earth Eagle at my local supermarket. If only I knew the gold I held in my hands that day...
>>11568292I'm still pretty new so I might be retarded, but is there any reason to use 1-70 over 1-60 on that tyranno beat build?
>>11568366Ive heard Beat likes to hit downward to knock other beys off balance. Apparently it can also hit upwards but I dont think anyone actually tries that. Also I had 1-60 on Wizard Rod, I could just put 1-60 on Beat.>>11568329Why Point over Taper? I've had some success on Taper but idk. Also I did try Shark Scale on 4-50 Rush but idk if I wanna keep that
How is UF stamina wise? Same like regular Flat?
