So why is this figure "rare"?Everytime I see it loose or sealed is overpriced as fuck (around 60 bucks) and if it's cheap, it's articulations are fucked up.I don't get the hype about the figure.
>>11544934a cult favorite character with a nice sculpt and probably the one semifaithful toy it'll ever get of that specific look.
>>11544934Its the only decent figure of his debut (and most consistent) appearance. Of the two of his Marvel Legends figures, one is based on a super specific artists rendering of him and the other is on the monster Venom body which is also a form he is rarely in in the comics
>>11544944and they even got that version wrong because its missing the spider-symbol from the artwork
>>11544934Never even saw that toy, but I do see the appeal what with its big hands and hunched back. But I only ever found picrel. Never saw it again after I bought it
>>11544934It as also an extremely late release, not being stocked much as Hasbro had already inked a deal with marvel at that point, meaning most stores didn't carry the last few waves in anticipation for carrying Hasbro's
>>11544934Given the yellow on that package, there is definitely some Toxin waiting to be released when that is opened.
>>11544946>>11544934This shows how Marvel Legends can ruin any design with a boring standardized body buck
>>11544948Is this Hulk in a Spider-Man costume or Peter after gamma rays turn him into a hulk?
>>11544934>>11544948Damn, I had both of these guys when I was young. Must've been around 2006?
Don't know if it's still the case but there were bootlegs of this and the Gargan symbol Venom on Aliexpress for years. Like, way way past either of them being desirable figures anymore.
>>11544934That was a pretty decent line.
>>11547413It's Peter turning into a Hulk. It happened at least twice: Once in Web of Spider-Man and the other time in an Immortal Hulk story
>>11547603Thanks anon
