>>11547260The less sunlight the better. Depending on what the material is dyed with it could take years to see noticeable bleaching if it's only getting a little indirect light. But none is best as far as solar bleaching goes. You could build it a box open on one side, with the open part facing away from the window, so you can see and enjoy the toy.

I'm going to do a bit more reading to see just how much damage the sun does to it and if it doesn't really matter I'll just let her enjoy the sunlight. If it turns out to be really bad I'll probably just put it on the shelf
