Will this sunlight hurt my fumo? There's no direct sunlight but lots of indirect
>>11547124Mb about the pic
>>11547125Get a curtain and clean your windows.
>>11547127I have a curtain but I like it open. Will the light fade her material though?
>>11547138Yes, it will inevitably fade if you leave it there. Any kind of plastic or fabric will.
>>11547255Ok. Where should I put it instead? Does it need to get zero natural light? I haven't owned a plush since I was a little kid so idk this stuff
>>11547260The less sunlight the better. Depending on what the material is dyed with it could take years to see noticeable bleaching if it's only getting a little indirect light. But none is best as far as solar bleaching goes. You could build it a box open on one side, with the open part facing away from the window, so you can see and enjoy the toy.
>>11547138everything fades. worrying this much about keeping a commodity in pristine condition is for the weak.
>>11547329Yeah I agree I don't care about being super autistic about preserving it - but it's a cute doll of my favourite musician and I quite like it so I don't want to ruin it. I'm going to do a bit more reading to see just how much damage the sun does to it and if it doesn't really matter I'll just let her enjoy the sunlight. If it turns out to be really bad I'll probably just put it on the shelf
