my older brother gave me these miniature figurines of X and Axl over a decade ago which I don't have anymore.
Does anyone know who made these? They were really neat and Axl was always my favorite as a kid (because of X8 not X7) but I can't find them on Google

I think I know what you mean, I had a set somewhere. I tried to find any images of them online and there isn't any info on them online. IIRC they full set had all the main guys Megaman, Protoman, Bass, X, Zero, and Axl.

FYI that any armored X kit comes with extra of his bicep part. Also, every kit from second armor x onward added parts that changed the construction of the bicep.

Not defending it though on base X, that's a really shit design flaw.

Kinda X fatigued to be honest. I say this as a guy who has Megaman X in his top 5 characters of all time. The kotobukiya kits are pretty much the definitive artstyle for me. No reason to drop 30-40 on ANOTHER basic X figure. I already have multiple Koto kits, already have multiple D-Arts. No reason to triple dip on another line that doesn't look as good as what came before.
