We're almost a month and a half away til Halloween. Spirit Halloweens are popping up, retailers are putting out their halloween stuff, and places are already announcing their Halloween themed goods. So might as well start up the general now. Feel free to post your finds or fond Halloween memories.US Fast food wise:Mcdonalds - buckets againWendys- Frosty Frights V2Burger King- Scooby Doo toys with removable plastic masks along with a random monster guy behind a mask.
>>11558772No pics of the McDonalds buckets, maybe when it's closer to October.
>>11558772I was very excited for these until I actually saw them. Fuck talk about a step down from last year's addams family offerings. I wish they'ed been designed more like those old DC Looney Tunes heroes instead of nugget buddies.
>>11558779Burger King toys are now at best 3d a hollow blow molded figurine. I was worried they were gonna skip this in the U.S. for something lamer.
Fuck yes I fucking love Halloween I had been posting my Halloween lego stuff on the lego threads but they get lost among all the endless bitching
>>11558772>Got lazy and have not obtained the Frankenstein one from last year still.>There's a new setFUCK
>>11558778Man that's a bummer there's ugly but I guess you can leave the masks on?
>>11558779Those Addams family toys were awful
>>11558846Remember when they did Universal Monsters or Simpsons Treehouse of Horrors? Those were the days.
>>11558847Speaking ofanyone got the Treehouse of horror advent calendar from costco this year?
>>11558857>Treehouse of horror advent calendar from costco this year?.......I'm sorryThe what?
>>11558857I just googled and I found a amazon listing, have they been doing this multiple years now?
>>11558859
>>11558862Is that this years? Picrel I came across it when going through amazon, I dig these little guys
>>11558864Correct this is the current year one. First time they're doing it. They only did Xmas last time.
>>11558862There's like maybe 3 I wouldn't mind having but the rest are really blah
>>11558778>>11558779>>11558825reminds me of the McDonalds candy dispensers from back in the day with the masks, cept the SD ones are full body and no candy lol.
>>11558876
>>11558876These? I never cared for them because I never cared about nerds candy
>>11558877>Under the witch mask is an actual monsterI never knew that, that's the one I'd want.
I know there's different releases of these guys, but man, they could have whored out so many ideas that would have been better than a good chunk of shit toy ideas they've had for like 15+ years.
>>11558778There's a rumor that this year's buckets are gonna be regular pumpkins with different faces (like pic-related). Of course, it came from Facebook, so take with a HUGE grain of salt.
>>11558902I'd rather have those than the previous ones
man if it's any kind of retro release for the mcboo pails they are going to be impossible to getjust another hobby the normienet has ruined
>>11558909What are you talking about they did re release mcboo pails a couple years back (But did not have the cookie cutter lits)
>>11558915i mean if they promote it as an homage to the original mcboo pails (just the orange pumpkins)
>>11558918I mean yeah but I don't think it'd really help with returning customers hoping for a different one. I think that's why they made the ones with different type of colors and designs later on
>>11558779lol that's garbageAnyone remember the BK monsters/halloween that had the figures inside a coffin-like thing? The mummy was inside a yellow sarcophagus and the witch was inside a blue like cabinI only have those two. I'll try to fetch them from my folks' home when I go visit later this month.
>>11558902I'd like that. I skipped last year's buckets.
>>11558817I appreciate your posts, from one spooky season lover to another. You pick up the creator haunted house?>>11558862>>11558864Halloween calendars are a thing now?Don't want to spam the thread with replies, but I will say those BK toys look kinda great. Remind me of the old McDonald's ones where Ronald and friends were dressed up.
>>11559127Not quite, I like he figs and design but it's too expensive for what it is so I'm waiting on a sale, plus I already have the og haunted house.
>>11558772Already a spooky thread up >>11557376
>>11558864Does anyone have this? The listings I've found for it don't have many pictures and I wonder how close the actual figures are to the image.
>>11558864I hate to disappoint, but I’m pretty sure that’s all AI.
>>11559756That's what I was thinking, but is it just AI or did they use the 3D renders for the models to make it?
>>11558772Sweet. They're even better than last year's batch
>>11559443Yeah I only bought it because I found it for far cheaper at Costco. Much better price that way.Might be swinging out to pick up the wreath and truck sets they've put out along with the new BAM figs just to continue my Halloween builds.I envy your original haunted house, I let it slip by before and every time I see it I hem and haw over if it's worth the price. Even the newer "haunted" house they did I've considered instead. Least I have the Monster Fighters and Hidden Side castles to bulk things out.
I love these bendy figure homage figures NECA are doing. They're that really fun super generic monster look that you get to see around Halloween.
>>11560241I get it, it really is quite expensive but it's a fun build and you can do lots with it. I myself cannot justify getting other monster fighters sets as much as I would love to have all the monsters and the whole MF crew. Curiously enough I'm more willing to snag Hidden Side sets, I particularly want the school and the castle but my god those pricesI managed to get the scooby doo mystery machine and mansion so they should be arriving next week
>>11561557they're homaging the old imperial toys. I'm surprised they didnt do the same for Kong.
>>11558883NUGGERS!
>>11558902It be cool if they had real lids and not the fake ones that occupy space for no good reason.>>11558880The monster is named I am Hungry. He was a short lived cgi abomination similar to the honey comb beast.
Anyone see Target's setup this year? It's pretty impressive. Trying to figure out if there's anything I can pick up some things to mix in with figures or displays.
Anyone know any good ghost toys? Not plushies, but more like an action figure. I like collecting monster toys in general and realize I dont have that could be considered a "ghost"
>>11562157Figura Obscura Jacob Marley maybe?
>>11561626>>11559443>>11558817I'm just now realizing how cool Halloween Legos can be thanks to thisAnd sadly it looks like theres only the Halloween barn and that haunted house that you can purchase at retail right now. Barn does look cool. I hope they bring back more monster sets
>>11562162I want the Hocus Pocus house so bad. It feels nice and Halloweeney.
>>11558817I liked them anon. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart.
>>11562544Needs more spoopy trees.Ooh, a Lego haunted forest would be cool! Or pumpkin patch.
>>11562572Good idea. I was just playing around still working on ideas for Halloween moc. Spooky pumpkin patch sounds great. More trees as well. Gonna be a monster bash at the corn maze.
