Why do so many modern toys feel like bootlegs?People who have never felt the difference between real and bootleg toys in the 90's won't really understand the feeling.But there is definitely something off about modern main stream toys that I just can't quite put my finger on, other than the quality has dropped off so hard they're just producing garbage.

Plus toys now are either hollow (transformers), have worse plastic injection (playmobil), or they don't have as defined edges and details (Marvel Epic Hero series).
And frigging ratchet joints. This Spiderman's elbows are so stiff and the plastic on his arms so gummy that the arm bends before the elbow does.
