I've been studying ways to buy one of those scam-hoax "historical bond assets"…I KNOW they're a scam, but I genuinely enjoy the cheesy\childish top secret aesthetic these boxes have!!

>>11565577Middle and right look fun, the one on the left is just a random suitcase.
BTW ,to explain: there is a series of hoaxes-scams where a person claims to have an "ancient \german "bond" " ie; a physical item ,often a box or small coffin with forged documents, bills, etc which can be "redeemed" for enormous wealth.it's like the Nigerian Prince scam but with tinfoil backstories and nice toy chests instead of a mere email
>>11565611Even the places that don't claim there's any hidden riches associated with the case still sell it for thousands. Fuck that. Search for "apothecary suitcase" and you'll find similar things much cheaper. None of it is authentic of course, they're all just props.

It reminds me of people "finding" things like those vampire killing kits.Otherwise these seem like they'd be fun to make your own. Buy some nice jewelry boxes and hit up chinatown for a bunch of doodads and invent your own scam history for it. A gift from the king of Siam to the Ottoman ambassador in 1897? Why not?
