Really wish we could tell how many cassettes it can hold...
>>11565700I hope they can hold the siege cassettes
>>11565708They already did 86 Rumble and Frenzy, so unless Hasbro plans on releasing them AGAIN in a different size they should be able to.
>>11565700I think its two just by looking at the depth of the plastic chest plate.
>>11565711That'd make it worth upgrading. But something tells me he'll be easy to find in stores.
>$43AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>>11565677>>11565679From what I can tell this is just some fun promo to turn the transformers store into a Transformer storeI appreciate the design language being consistent with other titans. This wouldn't look out of place next to Metroplex. And given that this has a mini comic and more than one piece of promo art, someone put some effort in
>>11565714Voyager probably has 1 year left before it gets Core'd. No one is buying them at this price.
>>11565714Seems like a fair price.
>>11565718Little soon to assume that, since it just started.
>>11565714I'm pretty much only buying Studio Series 86 at this point.
>>11565714Depressing and hilarious. Not even an ankle tilt for that price.
Blokees Action Megatrons weapons with 86 Megatron. Shame they are a bit too big.
>>11565714is this before or after the price increase from Hasbro moving to Boston?
Mace just flops around, but doesn't fall off. Could just use some paper/tape for a more secure fit.
>>11565728before :)
>>11565728After
>>11565728The future
>>11565727Is the throne included with that too big for SS86 Megs?
>>11565736You have to sit him on the edge or else his feet don't touch the ground.
the cassette weapons all partsform btw ;)$60 + tax
>>11565718My guess is most of the brand is getting Core'd. We are running on fumes of what they have left to offer old manchildren that still buy toys for any of those price points. Like nearly $30 for Last Knight Barricade? I don't see enough interest in that even with it just being him and Airachnid being the only Deluxe SS figures next quarter. I Don't think Studio Series or the other mainline are going to see past 2026.
>>11565763What a cute fantasy.
>>11565763It would probably be more accurate to say we are getting g2'd. The line as a whole dies save for a few foreign markets that get some new stuff that gets adapted here on rare occasions. It's Brave's time to return
>>11565769>It would probably be more accurate to say we are getting g2'dThat is likely the best case and much like them reissue Grimlock and other Dinobots it's just going to be this slow death of them selling reissues of in demand figures until they get something else to make cash or it crashes and burns.
>>11565769One has to wonder what sort of swerve would be capable of revitalizing the franchise, if anything. Beast Wars was a radical reinvention, but you can't just do it again (even though they should)
>tired>sleep in>turns out today was the day all the preorders drop>Soundwave already sold out at PulseFug
>>11565763The line will continue, but with current voyager prices, the last one's I'll get are Brawl and Swindle, I'm not going to gamble for an incomplete Bruticus.
>>11565774The brand is getting hit on by too many dies. When G2 failed toys were still cheap and easy to be made and show syndication was still affordable for toy brands to invest in. Even before the tariffs costs to make toys was climbing badly and costs of show productions were suffering the same. Compound the tariff wars and the much smaller kids population wanting toys and you enter this very difficult to escape death spiral that many brands are suffering.
>>11565776>The line will continueAll things end anon. It'll be slow at first and then suddenly.
Is it still worth getting Lego Soundwave?
>>11565783When Hasbro dies, sure. TF is still one of their few money makers.
>swooshes by>absolutely NO fucks given>refuses to elaborate
>>11565714This is how they're paying for nexus being a combiner but a voyager
>>11565784If you like building stuff>>11565786nah.It's like divorce or bankruptcy anon, in spite of the cracks, you think that bad outcome is still far away and will need this serious extreme outcome for it to happen when, no,it's just one day you wake up, and it's over. Things will look fine and then late 2026 it'll just be over. See you then.
>>11565752Tapes historically did
>>11565787Absolute scenes>another ghost scream enjoyerSuperb taste
Walmarts put the preorders up at the old pricesGo go go
>>11565748Hey, that's still pretty good if you don't have the one from Leader Starscream.
>>11565774Transformers 2d animated by trigger, a line of uniquely designed figures with only passing resemblance to g1 designs while still obviously being the character, and a line wide gimmick that doesn't hamper the figure but provides a fun feature for kids.Bonus points if there is a cheap collectable component to the line like minicons, customizable armor, or planet keys to draw completionists and kids. The show NEEDS to be easily avalible and properly advertised. Being exclusive to a streaming platform would make it doa.
>>11565791hot take: I don't think cassettes parts forming is a bad thing if the deployer figure has a place to store the weapons.
>>11565811Just make sure you have a backup preorder since Walmart loves to cancel at the last minute.
>>11565714What happened to 86 Thundercracker being Wave 1? Fucking tired of Hasbro shenanigans.
I hope they make an ashen grey dead coronation Starscream with the Earthrise mold before they retire it once and for all. If not, I'll just spray paint mine grey when the inevitable SS86 Starscream 2.0 is announced
>>11565811I am not getting in a hurry to pay $25/$35 bucks for these guys. Fucksakes are things so bad now that we should be excited for that?
>>11565786>When Hasbro dies, sure.they basically are in the process of dying. the boston move is the first sign of thatI will be shocked if they're still around after 2030
>>11565714Still probably gonna get it. Either that or hunt down a third party Trion with an alt mode that is just different enough to not be a sweep boat.
>>11565830Not really, it was a 30 min move
>>11565824Sorry bud, none of that is going to do it this time. You can't just recycle what they did 2 decades ago and nobody gives a fuck about trigger except for the current target audience that is already dwindling. If they bothered releasing a game that's not shovelware you would have a whole bunch of zoomies/alphas ready to paypig. Just make a game, and tie the exclusive skins to codes you get from buying a figure. Easy money.
>>11565833which makes it even more pointless
>>11565775you wanted that piece of shit?
>>11565786LMAO they have already admitted more than once that MTG and other non-toy shit keeps them afloat. Wake up anon, it's not 2007 anymore.
>>11565320>“We are not engineers, we are dance choreographers”
>>11565824The bigger issue of how do they get that show in front of any eyes? It's why a lot of series are doing as bad as they are. Not only are you picking your streaming site to broadcast your product you are having to compete all the backlog before it came. Gone are the days of 12 big cartoon shows fighting each other on three or four channels, it's a streaming site that has a massive archive that the kids/parents can choose at any time. It's like that new Cyberworld show, not only are you having to get the kid to want to watch it, you are having to pick that over the 4 hour streamathon of Bluey or Minecraft. Hub and even the 86 movie showed that quality means shit if no one is tuning in. >>11565827They are stretching things out, most of the brands are breaking everything up into smaller waves and drip feeding out because of how much things are fucked up for next year. Things are slowing down a lot.
>>11565833look into certain bankruptcy laws for the state. A major "necessary" move can get you a decent parachute when everything comes crashing down.
>>11565839Universe Hound is still one of my all-time favorites. Shame Kubalsky doesn't work at Takara anymore.
I just want the G2 version of Sludge and Swoop and along with Quickstrike.
>>11565844Are they in the leaks? I feel anything planned between now and next year will happen in some way.
>>11565847Tell that to Velocitron Hot Rod. That poor bastard will never see the light of day.
>>11565835A lot of companies have moved into smaller, more affordable offices as they've shifted to more remote workSome times you just have to wait for ideal timing
I imagine the original G1 cassettes will go in, but perhaps be a bit loose inside? I don't have Studio Rumble or frenzy so I don't know the size difference.
>>11565864The G1 cassettes are way bigger. They won't fit into any of the modern toys.
>>11565847Yes. They said for 2026.
>>11565786Transformers is their 6th best behind MTG, D&D(yes it's fuck up but it still is profitable),Hasbro Games, Nerf and Play-Doh.
>>11565868They'll fit in ONE modern toy.
Deluxe will be phased out.Voyager will be the new deluxeLeader will be the new voyager Commander will be the new leaderTrump and hasbro greed caused this.
>>11565899>TrumpLet's be fair here - Hasbro was already in the shitter long before he took office.
>>11565877Okay, in terms of toys only its still one of their best.
>>11565834>and nobody gives a fuck about triggerit did wonders for Cyberpunk.
>>11565843Takara could use some of his style at the moment. At least he's still doing great work at MMC.>>11565899>Voyager will be the new deluxe>Leader will be the new voyagerThese are already well underway.
>>11565833>>11565835>>11565855they moved from a state that was given them tax benefits for a city and state that has a higher cost of living and more taxes. Cocks is intentionally tanking this shit, if they really cared about costs they'd move to a flyover state or something. he just wants to have a good time before it all implodes in on itself.
>>11565877I think you might be confusing profit margins and overall profit
BBTS FINALLY sent me my Vector Prime DNA upgrade kit; I had almost forgotten that I had even ordered it at this point, but it's here. It's not perfect, but he looks a lot more tolerable now - after getting my hands on the Universe variant of the original toy, I realized just how badly they mangled the Legacy toy. Now he's got some properly-sized shoulder pads and wings, his wrist gauntlets, two options for a larger, better-looking Rhisling sword, new bits that resemble his old leg armor and cover the leftover sockets and exposed wiring from the Jhiaxus mold, and his toe-guns on platform shoes that add some much needed height to him overall.
>>11565911Unfortunately, there's just no salvaging the alt mode - even with the bigger wings, he's still too stumpy, and his rear section is still completely wrong even with those plates covering the wiring on his legs/fuselage. I'm not a fan of having to partsform his boots and shoulder pads every time I transform him now, but it could be worse. Now I need to find a Safeguard to 'complete' him.
>>11565914Also, I got these guys last week and forgot to show them off - this four pack with 'Covert Clone' Sideswipe, Trenchfoot, Grand Slam and Raindance came out right around the time I came back to Transformers and started collecting, and I missed it entirely because I had no idea exclusives were a thing; I'm glad it was reissued over on Pulse recently. While I don't really know much about this version of Sideswipe (other than the fact that he's apparently not the original), I really like the colorscheme on him. Trenchfoot is pretty neat, too - while he's similar in color to the "Captive Pinpointer" that came with the Netflix Siege Megatron, he actually has some paint details on him, something I don't remember seeing on any of the other Battlemasters - in his case, he's got some white on his belly and clavicle area, making him match Sideswipe nicely.Grand Slam and Raindance are...weird, and made weirder when I went and looked up the characters (who I was unfamiliar with but thought looked cool). It seems that the originals were cassette bots, but instead of turning into animals or little robots like the more well-known guys, these two became little 'Cybertronian' vehicles - Grand Slam's the tank, and Raindance is the jet. They were also sort of a mini combiner team, and could merge into a single robot known as 'SlamDance', with Grand Slam making up the upper torso and Raindance becoming the legs.
>>11565915Robot modes. Grand Slam's and Raindance's new toys made some changes - they've lost their cassette modes entirely now, so they can only go between their individual vehicle modes and their combiner body part forms; their alt modes have changed shape, looking more like Earthmode vehicles (though not really accurate to anything in particular), and their combined SlamDance form is now a Deluxe-sized figure - except Grand Slam and Raindance have swapped positions, with Grand Slam now becoming SlamDance's legs while Raindance becomes the upper torso. While their origins as cassettes explains their unusual lack of individual robot modes, I still find them to be a bit strange - vehicle cassettes already struck me as odd, but now that their modern toys have lost their cassette forms entirely, having the characters relegated to only being vehicles or body parts is just weird. They're still pretty neat, though.
whatchu guys think. worth it? lil repaint action?
>>11565925Beast Wars character, instant pass.
>>11565925>worth it?No. Get the T30.
>>11565714you must understand. his transformation so so complex! He has to stand up, and when you're old.. that's hard!
>>11565925If you love the character, sureOtherwise pass
>>11565774just do a show with good, mature writing. make that your gimmick. then don't make the toys shitty and overpriced. there, i rescued your business.
>>11565781I don't know of any brands, any industries that aren't experiencing this.Though people accuse some of making profit, and just like the black plague, whoever wasn't sick, they accuse them of causing it.>>11565787nyyyyooomgotta admit this makes me want both of them.
>>11565908I mean it makes sense to me. businesses have been labeled public enemy no. 1 for a while now, at a certain point you have to assume you will be torn down, and since that means failure is inevitable, the only logical option left is to embezzle.this is why accusations are self-fulfilling and counterproductive.
>>11565925at that price its okay but yeah he was the most disappointing BW figure
>>11565899I do believe he's deliberately destroying the economy, yes. flawless false flag opbut no point in discussing that here, he makes a buck every time his name's mentionedlet's all just put our fingers in our ears and pretend everything is fine. I've got an already-custom-painted Dinobot that I'm gonna re-custom-paint since I got the Premium Finish one. it's gonna be so great you guys.
>>11565915>>11565916man thanks for sharing. it's cool to see people enjoyin posing transformers n shit.>>11565927got it already. hence the repaint plan.
Here's your new Shockwave
>>11565932Worked for Horse Show.... for a couple seasons.
>>11565944>whalethey were this close to SHARKWAVE
>>11565944I get the feeling Evan was set on submarine and had to adapt it...
>>11565944I don't hate it but its not very imaginative. Probably should've given people what they wanted with Spino or HoS Shockwave and called it a day.
>>11565944cute
>>11565950lol retarded spino cucks still seething
>>11565963i want a SPINOWHALE
>>11565965AN ORGANIC SPINOWHALE! GIVE MORE FUZORS!
>>11565944>>11565947>feet and legs form lower jaw and underside>front of best head folds up into backpack>left arm ends in the tail fins>blaster part in beast mode mouthIt's a Sky-Byte retool/engineering reuse
>>11565968They probably drew up concepts based on existing figures so they could speed up the design process. It'll be too hard to retool skybyte into that. You're talking cosmos from origins bee on steroids
>>11565944Fucking Shock-whale
>>11565944Meh, might skip it. I expected something more scary and alien with deep sea monster. This is just a case like >>11565949 said, vote was rigged.
>>11565967i'm with you, brother. i like robot animals sometimes, but the transformation has to be a LOT more complex to be interesting. Most of the time I want an organicformer, where part of the charm is like, the robot is hidden. which part of him will come out and be metal and a different color, and which part IS part of the beast?>>11565968>>11565971yeah I think you're right, an 'engineering reuse.' Same concept, totally new mold. I'm all for those.
>>11565944>teeth on what is clearly a baleen whalei'll give it a pass because baleen looks dumb, but I would like multiple whaleformers please. and a narwhal. and a dolphin combiner called Podimus Brine.
Is Megatron HISS tank worth $40?
Well that's annoying.
>>11565981$40, sure. The GI Joe transformers are very clearly made for the childhood fantasy of "what if the Joe vehicle could be a transformer" so if you're not onboard with the GI Joe play element you're basically just buying a toy with a janky weird kibble covered bot mode.
>>11565944SHOCKWHALEOn first impression, I say I dig itGood job on making Shockwave just a little bit aquatic. The respirator on the head design is a cool touchI love how easily this drawing appears to translate to a real object, shows the difference between an actual toy designer and a lot of fan artistsIf >>11565949 is right then the only real vestigial bits would be the missile launching in the bottom corner. This whale looks suitably separate from the menacing tube of a submarine, plus we wouldn't've gotten the big gun in the whale mouth
>>11565774X-Men 97 but with Transfomers. The sort of in between season 2 and the movie. Art style made to resemble Sunbow 2D animation. Megatron hatches goofy plans where Starscream says “That plan won’t work”. Introduce some later characters like Arcee, Ultra Magnus. There, I revitalized your franchise.
>>11565983if you do any model work I suggest shaving a very slight amount of that corner on the main body, with knife or sand paper/stick. I carefully took swipes with my 1.5 glass raser stick a few times and that got rid of that.
>>11566010>X-Men 97 but with TransfomersGod, please no. Most of the cast is full blown dead or nearly there.
>>11566012Difference is I want the same 80’s writing of Meg’s makes some goofy weapon or wants some sort of made up energy thing.
>>11565688The new Ravage actually looks pretty good.
>>11565944A Shockwhale doesn't really feel like a bad guy altmode compared to Crabwave or Squidwave or whatever, but it seems to be implemented okay. The important thing will be how the actual toy version is.
>>11565774make good video games.Headmaster FPS that plays like Titanfall 2.Hire furman to write for it.
>>11566019aww he's cute.the shape they chose for the rear paws is a little odd, but..
>>11565944this is actually really cool>>11565714this meanwhile sucks assI can understand and begrudgingly accept the price increases on deluxes and leaders, but what the fuck is up with voyagers?
>>11566018You'll never get it. The movie has painted the perception of Transformers as something more than just "and then Megatron stole the energon cubes and used the Transblastimorphizer to make it so the Autobots could only make left turns to prevent his plan from being stopped"
>>11565774>One has to wonder what sort of swerve would be capable of revitalizing the franchiseThis one
>>11566010IIRC Hasbro has an explicit rule in place banning anyone from pitching a Season 2.5 Transformers cartoon or comic covering the twenty year gap from the 80s cartoon. Worse case scenario we get Robert Kirkman's Transformers which will still flop ala the Netflix TF shows did
>>11566018why?isn't that what all the netflix shorts are for? just dumb mindless crap for small kids?
>>11565944I like it, honestly. Also, looks more like a Janjucetus Dullardi rather than a modern whale, which is neat.
>>11566038Why is this such a hard concept for you people to grab? This one scene from Earthspark, but that being the whole series. That’s what I want.
>>11566046I don't. We had Sunbow, I liked Sunbow, i dont want more Sunbow. I want something new. Why is this such a hard concept for you to grasp?Besides, that segment was animated really shittily and only looks good in still-images. It didn't capture 80s animation in movement and looked digital.
>>11566045yknow except for the huge obvious baleen expanding-pocket throat
>>11566054Shockwhalve is going to KRILL you to death.
>>11566054and the mono-eye blowhole>>11566055do you always make such good funnies or was that one just a fluke?
Where's Mixmaster?
>>11566023Hasbro only makes mobile slop now
>>11566010god no, xmen 97 flopped.Recapturing an older style of animation isn't a bad idea, especially cause it can be done better today than before. But you can't expect any modern audience to know the g1 lore anymore.
>>11565985I am very on board with that play element and honestly think the kibble looks cool. Looking up some videos though, idk, I hear his plastic is rather soft and has gaps everywhere but he's big af which is nice and his tank mode is to scale with vintage. Hmm I'm not sure, I doubt I would ever be able to find it cheaper then that
>>11566018You got that in Cyberverse series and now Cyberworld. >>11566050>We had Sunbow, I liked Sunbow, i don't want more Sunbow. This, the series even ended on a high note. Why do you people want endless growth that just leads to cancer? Look at Western Comics or Star Wars, what did getting the same fucking slop for endless decades get you? Got you shit like Spider-man selling his marriage and unborn kid to the Devil to save his octogenarian Aunt and Luke Skywalker becoming an alien goat sucking incel. You saw all that and though, "yeah I should risk that on my beloved childhood too." Fuck that, I sooner take they just stop making products. We got 9 movies, 16 animated series, and 4 decades of comics. Star Trek is the only other comparable SciFi with this much comparable content in 40 years. We are good, stop wanting to make things worse just to fill your empty holes anon.
>>11566073Forget the lore it be to uncanny valley. Animating it would not look right, even in that scene in Earth Spark it was off, all the VA's being different would be jarring, like what wee saw in the Devastation Video game with Thundercracker, Shockwave and a few others. And even as good as the Starscream fill in was it still felt off, like you knew it wasn't the OG guy. You be making a product that no one would like.
>>11566081>16 animated seriesJumps to 24 if you count the Japanese series. 31 if you count the dub series of G1, BWs, and the OG Car Robots and their versions of the UT series too.
>>11565983Just push upwards on the hinge. It goes in. No need to hack at the figure
>>11565827>the seekers would be easy to get this time the shills said
Does anyone have a Nova prime with the upgrade kit? He arrived today and he's awesome, but wouldnt mind him being a bit more bulky. (Only scanned the wiki a bit about the character, just a cool bot to me)
>>11566116Yeah the upgrade kit is essential, Nova needs his big wings not those pathetic little flappers. It helps the truck mode look better than the absolute dogshit it is normally. Still not a great truck mind you, but better.
>>11566116I have it on preorder from BBTS. It was supposed to come out last month, but then I checked last week and its now coming out this month, supposedly. Good luck preordering from BTS, its sould out
>>11565774Get the High Moon guys back for more games. Make a cool anime with cool designs like Transformers Armada.
>>11566130>>11566132I might have to order it then, it's on sale from a domestic site and I'm super tempted. Bot mode is definitely a winner but truck mode is questionable, so a bulkier truck and even bigger bot would be cool
He looks ok when not in that studio lightingI still think his shoulders and arms need some greebling though, like its really flat looking
>>11566073>xmen 97 flopped.because it took something set in the 90s and decided to be 2020s woke as fuck. Real fucking dumb idea.>Recapturing an older style of animation isn't a bad idea, especially cause it can be done better today than before.Agree. But you also know it won't be. It would cost less than a tenth today to make what art looked like back then, but nobody's gonna shell it out.
>>11566153>those incomplete yellow stripes in alt modejesus fucking christ I can't wait for takara to fix this disaster
the back looks kinda weird...why are the buttons also at the backand I guess you can store the weapons inside this part like batteries?https://youtu.be/RDHk0MfU_5c
got my Megatron. Comparing him to movie Megs. I underestimated how tall he is compared to movie Megs.
>>11566161He has two sets of buttons so his crotch isn't just a single plywood plank in robot mode.
looks good together. Debating if Megatronus needs the DNA Design upgrade kit
>>11566161>why are the buttons also at the backBecause he fauxforms his buttons just like the netflix mold, the alt mode buttons become his buttplate + hip skirts
>>11566165>>11566170oh I get what you mean. Its kinda obvious now from this>>11566153
You guys seen this? BBTS made a short animated ad for Soundwavehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IietYKDcdW0They're calling stop motion but that articulation seems almost too good to be true.
>>11565944Damn my autism, this ruins everything!
>>11566195i saw 'celibate transformers day' and i'm like.. oh yeah, most of them haven't done it..
>>11566224wotsit ruin, boke?
>>11566255I was gonna put him with the Beast Wars Predacons! But only Maximals have mammal alt-modes!
>>11566257His visual style doesn't match either. He seems to be working off G1 with good guy dinosaurs and bad guy mammal and bird guys.
>>11566258At least it looks neat. Hope his beast mode is nice and flexible.
>>11566257there's always a few exceptions! though.. it's hard to imagine Shockwave changing sides or anythinghere's the thing though, ROBOT beast modes have never followed that. the original predacons were all sorts of animals, and the dinobots were autobots.>>11566258ah yeah what this guy said.
>>11566260looking at it.. i imagine it will only be an up and down movement at the robot elbows forming the tail. the pectoral fins will hopefully be ball jointed, but it's not hard to imagine them only allowing for movement related to folding down onto the shins. which is brilliant, by the way.
>>11566261I'll just go with "logically the largest animal on Earth is the optimum beast mode choice", that sounds like him.
>>11566267ohh yeah.that doesn't quite look like a rorqual to me, more of a humpback, but that's super nitpicky. I'll take it.
>>11566267You are what you eat, Shockwave
finally completed the bugs
they look good together
>New "titan" is the powerplant from Red AlertI don't get it.
>>11566307>>11566306Do chopshop and barrage have proper deception emblems?
>>11565904Cyberwhat? Oh, the flavor of the month anime that came out over a year ago?
>>11565944hahahahahahahahahaha holy shit!
>>11565944feels like the tail could have been straightened down on top by having that be the elbow side and having his upper and lower arms be roughly flat there.. I guess if you bent it down slightly, you'd get like... like this, which is pretty naturalistic ..
>>11566081Agreed. Transformers had a good run. They have already produced more cool toys than I own, so I could spend the rest of my time filling in gaps from years past. Besides, most of the shit they pump out now are sidegrades.
>>11566159>I wouldn't hold your breath for another Dramatic Capture just yet. T-Spark has made it very clear that Transformers are no longer a priority for Takara.
>>11566254OPTIMUS PRIME IS A VIRGIN
>>11565944Kinda neat weirdly reminds me of sharkticon and 52toy stuff. I love animal transformers but I'm scared itll be an exclusive or too expensive.
so does shockwave spend a lot on gacha games?
>>11566011I don't, sadly. If you're able to, could you please show me where you did it on yours?
>>11566363I can see him being one of those guys who denounces joy in general because it isn't productive, because he's so logic-focused. So he wouldn't even play real games.
>>11566081I was a Beast Wars kid so it immediately got ruined and I didnt have to wait 20 years.
>>11566372You just described a gacha whale and gacha games.
>>11566376Even then. I feel like Shockwave would be able to notice all the bullshit they do and be able to avoid it. If any Transformer were to be immune to gambling, it would be Shockwave. If he were to play any games, they'd be dolled-up exercises.
>>11566361oooh I like this one a lot. aside from the bulging krelbows and the huge backpack. I'd really love to see another crack taken at this guy.
>>11566116I sold my nova with upgrade kit and a better upgraded head like 2 months ago. You should lurk the bst threads
>>11566376oh are there people who just metagame it until it's literally about nothing but pulls?
>>11566388huh?
>>11566306>>11566307They look great together. Bums me out I won't be able to get Ransack unless they do a single release for him, but I'm not paying rape prices just to complete the off brand Insecticons.
>>11566257>But only Maximals have mammal alt-modes!I guess a gray area here is the toy version of Predacon Ravage. He transformed into a cassette tape in the show, but his bot mode had mammal features, and all his toys transform into a panther.
>>11566396ehh the panther is the robot mode, so that gray area is pretty light gray.. but yeah.. but that's a good point. All the toys do tend to have panther modes where he just stands up. And not one ever includes his shikoro. You know I never noticed him turning into a tape on the show til someone pointed it out. It just seemed so abrupt, you hear the classic transforming noise, something flies into the console, DECEPTICONS FOREVER and it's over. Kinda like season 3.
>impatiently waits for the other 2 airealbots to show up locallyI could buy them online right now on BBTS, but shipping kills me.
>>11566406>the panther is the robot modeWell even the old Takara toy had him transform into a panther as the alt mode. Honestly, we only saw him transform into a tape on the show, but official media says he was rebuilt as a predacon, and the official Takara Transformers Metals Manga has his alt mode as a panther. So yea, technically he is a predacon with a mammalian alt mode (panther).
Honestly was expecting more from SS86, gonna just keep Legacy around.
Where is he you BASTARDS!?
>>11565736no it isnt, Megatron fits perfectly on that throne that came with sarscream.>>11565748 this is the throne that comes with the Blokees Megatron and not the ss86 Starscream btw.
>>11566024it's angled that way so you can get 3 differnt stances from the rear legs
>>11566390Its Athena a serial shitposter schizo just ignore and report.
>>11566382He got a ton of cool repaints too. Mostly for Botcon. He was the second version of Skybyte we got. And had G1 Sharkticon colors. And in Japan they made him Axalon, the ship from Beast Wars of all things
>>11566413There was Shadowpanther but his whole thing was that he disguised himself as a mammal to spy on the Maximals. I think everyone else are just black or evil repaints. Razorclaw (who is technically a decepticon but has a Maximal logo on his chest and was a Predacon), Galvaconvoy Black Leo Convoy, Universe Nemesis Prime the Bug Convoy who was also technically a Decepticon with a Maximal logo...Oh wait Car Robots had the Squirrel and Skunk that went with the frog and Megatron and Skybyte. So those two actually count. And the weird Cerberus guy we got in our line There was a cool borg Wolf Predacon in BWII,
>>11566450
>>11566451I also just got nostalgia for that Orca micro playset. The little guys fit in the cockpit of Optimal Optimus too. But it was a maximal too.
Oh and the BW Predacon computer became a Dolphin girl thanks to Japan.I think that's everything.
>>11566451Max Roger
>>11566257Hopefully, >>11566413, >>11566450, >>11566451, and >>11566453 has calmed your autism about mammalian predacons, anon. Now let's continue the excitement about shockwhale
>>11566457It makes mine worse, fucking japan, fucking with the obvious rules. Unwritten rules, yes but so fucking obvious. All because of their bug fetish and having to have bugs be good guys in BWII
>>11566407With everything going on I wager those two will be easy to get so you'll find them. For me Amazon got the last two Air boys to roll out to my place the first week of this month and they are still up for preorder so the stock must be pretty big for them and/or demand isn't that strong. Really right now it's just Megs and the Green boys that seem to have any strong demand and I don't think that's going to stay. Things are getting hard for many and with nearly everything fished twice over I can't see the demand staying, which is good for these next two to three waves and it'll be whatever comes late next year that will be made underproduction and be rare. Assuming things stay as they are and don't get worse around the world that is, that could change all these factors and perhaps 1Q 2026 figures will be rare because WW3 or something kicks off.
>>11565944I feel like we are just being bamboozled into letting these clowns make their awful ideas but blame the "fans" for what they picked.
>>11566464The truth is, the game was rigged from the start...
>>11565944shoulda been an anglerfish
>>11566464>>11566465They're the same ones that added the absurd geisha motif to Windblade for no reason whatsoever after all.
>>11566464Im what world is a whale alt mode Shockwave a bad idea? At this point, I'll take these characters in pretty much ANY new alt modes, because the constant starscream = jet, bumblebee = car, Prime = truck bit got old a decade ago. I welcome any creativity this franchise can throw at me, and a whale alt mode is nothing if not creative.
>>11566407>waits for the other 2 airealbots to show up locallyCheck Gamestop. I literallt never saw a single aerialbot at my 2 local targets and 5 local walmarts. I did see a bunch of the fuckers at every Gamestop I checked, though.
>>11566469>>11566464I keep saying that this type of fan votes need to strip design team out of any control.
>>11566450>Razorclaw (who is technically a decepticon but has a Maximal logo on his chest and was a Predacon)Razorclaw was a Maximal, actually - he was a time-displaced Tigerhawk who had become corrupted and ended up murdering everyone on both sides of the conflict in his original timeline; he created a paradox that basically deleted his home universe, and only survived destruction himself because Unicron plucked him up, dragged him across time and space, and rebranded him as a Decepticon so he could be one of his heralds.
>>11566499>Im what world is a whale alt mode Shockwave a bad idea? The world where they denied us better ship and submarine modes. The Whale is something not only no one asked for, but is something that is far off anyone wanted. Pewople would have sooner taken Tidal Wave as a whale over this. I swear it feels like the toy staff comes here and tries to force narratives.
>>11566336Yes, you can just about make them out on their chests >>11566307
>>11566499>>11566529It went so bad the team had to make clear that Shockwave wasn't going to be a boat or sub to keep the fans in check. They already knew what they wanted damn the fan. That's why this shit is awful and should be ignored, like >>11566464 said they are just tricking their bosses to force their awful OC on us.
>>11566529>something that is far off anyone wanted.speak for yourself - I always preffered animalformers to vehicleformers, and a whale alt mode is something new that we haven't seen a million times already. I'm perfectly happy with the new Shockwave, and am looking forward to getting him when he comes out. Also>HoS ShockwaveWe're supposed to be getting him anyway, ya dingus. The point of the vote wasn't to speed the process along, it was to make something that wasn't a rehash of the same tired designs over and over.
>Brown Titan >Shockwave as an OC fishbitI can't tell if they are just pulling Mighty Spector shit now or if their is some bigger idea to it all.
>>11566533>it was to make something that wasn't a rehash of the same tired designs over and over.Right that's why everyone was wanting a submarine and they had to tell the fans "no, you get another fucking fish bot"
>>11566537>a whale is a fish
>>11566469>They're the same onesThey aren't thoIt's a different staff
I don't like the fact that one third of a commander class is taller than 4 Voyager and 2 Deluxe combined
>>11566407$4 is too much to ship? How broke are you?
>>11566537>Right that's why everyone was wanting a submarine and they had to tell the fans "no, you get another fucking fish bot"Well then why did submarine lose the vote? If everyone wanted it, it would have won
>>11566558Not everyone is from US of Murrika. The "flat $4" rate applies only to the contiguous states.
>>11566529>poll literally says will not be an existing design>fans "VOTE FOR BOAT WE'LL GET HEARTS OF STEEL SHOCKWAVE VOTE FOR CREATURE WE'LL GET THE SPINOSAURUS FROM THAT ONE FAN ART"Transformer fans are retarded
>>11566537>Right that's why everyone was wanting a submarine and they had to tell the fans "no, you get another fucking fish bot"But a robot pretending to be a fish in the water is technical speaking a submarine
>>11566037I kinda don't blame Hasbro for doing that. just doing G1 again would be boring but its also kinda hypocritical given how G1 the evergreen era is. Netflix's WFC Trilogy was the closest thing to an actual G1 reboot and that fucking sucked.
>>11565899They will keep the deluxe and leader classes, but leader will functionally voyager. Commander will be old leader, and be rare.Deluxe is always funny to me because it implies something under its class... and now there really isnt.
