Now BBTS offers pile of loot for Canadians, $8 instead of the US $4, but still better than a lot of other shipping options.
and how much are the delivery duties
and what about us, the southern brothers? (Mexico)We also buy a lot from there, my local freight forward guy told me so.
>>11567766Everyone on this board is from the US though
>>11567766>Good news, eh. Shipping is aboot $8, which is the price of a Molson and a maple syrup candybar. translated into Canadian so our Canadabros can better understand what you're saying.
>>11567801Last time I checked, your own stores are fully stocked because "not america"
>>11567827we dont call them candybars here
>>11567878what do you call them? Cocks?haha gottem
>>11567797It's implying that 8 dollars covers the duties, which is pretty big if true. We have some solid online retailers but BBTS does have stock that even they don't have. I'll likely stick with the locals, but if I ever want something that they're part of manufacturing like Eagle Force or whatever that's a great option to have.
>>11567766its a nice gesture but the pricing conversion between usd to cad is not worth it at all.
>>11567766I'm still not ordering from businesses located in the US as long as Jabba the Hutt is in the White House. And I've discovered a bunch of Canadian toy stores by now.
>>11567827>maple syrup candybar.that sounds good actually>>11567766>$8 instead of the US $4, but still better than a lot of other shipping optionsmy dude, anon, 8 us dollars (about 15-20 cad) is free compared to the 80-110 maplebucks (before duties) I used to pay for my quarterly pile of loot. Too good to be true, in fact. Especially in this economy. We'll see if it's true or not though when my next one ships. But I have significant doubts.
>>11567766Good news for Canadians. But...As an American who used to regularly buy from and sell to Canadians before shipping over that border went full retard 15-20 years ago, it sucks that this is so specific and unidirectional. Why can't general shipping between the US and Canada go back to normal so we can participate in trade again?
I couldnt find any canadian store to buy the new microman toys from or even Japanese that dont require a middleman so I'm really happy about this. I just want my micromen .
>>115680509/11 ruined everything
>>11568014Taft hasn't been in office for 100 years though?
>>11567973chocolate bars
>>11567987Just checked and it's 8usd + applicable pre-paid duties and taxes. Not the worst. I added about a hundred bucks of stuff as a test and it was $8+$15.xx. I guess if the thing is exclusive or on a good discount it could be worth it.
>>11568050>Why can't general shipping between the US and Canada go back to normal so we can participate in trade again? You know why.
>>11568050Silly American. I admit that both our postal services are fucked as shit and Newman from Seinfeld is pretty much an accurate description - if somehow he was lazier and less caring...But face it. It's due to bad decisions by American voters and greed.
>>11568427honestly if Americans didn't hate each other you'd still have factories making stuff
