I'm looking for 1/12th scale, reasonable posable (ideally Marvel Legends articulation or better) action figures of regular people in normal 20th century casual clothing. No military gear, school uniforms, or business suits. The Marvel Legends Moira Mactaggert is exactly what I'm talking about (with the lab coat removed)It doesn't seem like there's a lot of options, outside the occasional Mary Jane or Peter Parker.
Japanese figures are fine too, like the Figuarts of the SpyxFamily parents in casual clothes
Marvel Legends Track Suit Mafia.
these are a little cartoony but fit the bill
>>11570821There's tons of options dude.>Manatee IndustriesI believe few are on pre order right now>Figma Male/Female BodyThis is Makoto, Mika, Yuki, Emily, Chiang, Ryo, etc.>HasukiAside from their Pocket Armory line with military figures, there are casual soft goods from jackets, sweaters, coats, stockings, pantyhose, skirts, leggings, even shirts and shorts. These are all fairly modern and generic pieces to compliment the era you're looking for.>JoyToy Frontline ChaosThis is Hunter Lowe from that line in Pic related. A few of these figures fit like Rin and maybe Candyfrog Hacker (Hacker Wawa). They didn't sell well because of some QC on loose joints, not particularly stellar bodies when stripped naked (proportions undersized so soft goods clothes don't look bulky), and their high price for somewhat meh quality in regards to some things. I paid 100 for mine, but they're currently 20% off on most. Rin's coat is absolutely awesome though. And Lowe's backpack is fantastic. They have a blend between realistic and somewhat stylized anime face molds and no alternate expressions or movable eyes. Overall feels dated in a mater of a year. But softgoods? Nailed it, but the black does stain though.
>>11570838These look so fun and they have a shit ton of hands and a few accesories, it has no right to be this complete. I wish there was something similar but in 3.75/1:18
I assume you have all your ML bases covered. There are a lot of Black Series starwars that are just "human in a brown jacket or jumpsuit" that could pass off as civilians.
>>11571006Like, you could cut the holster off this guy's belt and it would just be guy in a jacket.
>>11570821I don't think that's approved medical professional wear..
>>11571031She's a geneticist, not a practicing physician.
>>11570821Try marvel legends the hood.
>>11570821I would buy blank bucks with good articulation and then add third party casual clothes yourself. It would be soft goods though, which might be a bit jarring next to plastic figures.
>>11570821Look up the Indiana Jones line from a year or so back, it's full of old dumpy guys in suits and such, even a few women in normal outfits. They're also usually dirt cheap.>>11571006>>11570838SWB is also a good line for "generic people in jackets", as there's a lot of normal humans in vaguely futurish outfits that are just normal clothes by today's stadards. And of course, there's tons of MCU based Marvel Legends in "street gear" too look for
>>11570821Can I ask what you're making? I'm guessing there's a olan here.
>>11571684>Olan is a dish that is part of the Kerala cuisine of the state of Kerala in South India. It is a light and subtle-flavored dish prepared from white gourd or ash-gourd, and black-eyed peas, coconut milk and ginger seasoned with coconut oil. It is usually served as part of a Sadhya. What?
*plan, sorry.
>>11571715nta but sometimes superhero stuff seems empty without civilians.
>>11571684Some kind of hypnosis or dronification tableau. I'm still brainstorming
