I think these diagonal swivels trip up a lot of people in YT reviews as well.For most male AYs, to get the Van Damme splits you don't just pull the legs out, you need to kick the legs forward and then rotate the thighs to get the splits.A lot of people complain about how AY shoulders look, with the hollowed out bicep and the cut at the top for the shoulder ball hinge, and they think you have to expose the gaps in the shoulders for poses, but most of time you can keep the shoulder closed up and flush against the torso and just use the bicep swivel and shoulder rotations for most poses.In just a neural standing pose, you use the bicep swivel to bring the arms parallel and close to the torso, and then you can rotate them again to bring the arms to almost a T-pose. For arms across the chest, you rotate the shoulder so the arm points forward, swivel the bicep so it starts to go across the chest, and then use the butterfly joint built into the side of the torso for even more across.Basically the diagonal swivels make AYs feel a little different than posing other actions figures, you just need to experiment and mess with all the joints a little.

>>11576643That's mostly a problem with the nature of PVC. It can warp due to heat and stay that way. You can fix it a little the same way. It's why for a time the arm sockets became hard plastic but they ditch that for a while now. I assume the reissue will fix it a little. They are engineered the correct measurements but something like the softness of PVC can make all the difference. If they go with a harder PVC mix I imagine that will improve things without having to change molds. Even for the hard sockets, reissues like Deku fixed lot of the looseness of ball joints so it is possible.

Chun-Li arrived and I'm loving the look of this figure more than I thought. It's reminding me of when I first saw AY Spidey 1.0 and finding the thighs off putting at first, before firmly believing every Spider-Man figure should have chunky thighs. I even kind of like her skirt pieces but I'm still waiting for someone to make a cloth skirt for her because of how easily the skirt pieces pop off. I like her neutral face and can tolerate her angry face, but that smiling face is still ugly to me. The bonus piece is probably an essential part of why I like this figure, it's cute as hell. There's no fucking way I paid $120 for a figure that was monkey fisted into its packaging so roughly that this shit happened. Just look at this glove and thigh. Then there's dark discoloration on his head. Im fucking pissed. Is this normal cause I haven't seen this among others. I know the bootleg is VERY close, but has some taletell signs. Is there any easy way to tell if that's what I was shipped?

So for such a low number production like Revoltechs (compare to say a ML) it's easier to coverup with paints than risking lots of rejects.

They need to avoid too much overlap with MAFEX. SP//dr and Noir would look good with Yamaguchi treatment. A normal comic Miles Morales would be refreshing too.

I'm sure we will get at least one alt costume Naked Snake. They did 4 Ryu Hayabusa they're not just doing one Snake. Unless they move onto other MGS titles first.
