Thoughts? First toys will release in early 2026 as exclusives and then wide release in summer/fall.https://toyworldmag.co.uk/the-loyal-subjects-brings-palworld-to-life-with-toys-and-collectibles/
>>11575100>literal fucking whos are the only ones to take up the license after every major manufacturer is monopolized by Nintendo with threats of pulling rights to properties if they allow Palworld to get a larger foothold with physical media spaceIf I can't coom to Katress, Wixen, Flopie and Nitemary figures, then I don't care.
>>11575108Why is Nintendo scared of Palworld? Palworld is a legit Pokemon ripoff compared to Digimon
>>11575110Because it sold over 30 million copies in like a month or two and broke a ton of records. Specifically it sold better than Legends Arceus and Scarlet Violet which pissed off Nintendo although SV might have passed 30 million by now.
>>11575118That's crazyA shame Z-A will flop lol
>>11575100Way to strike when the iron is room temperature
>>11575110It's really hard to say that when it blends both open world blended seamlessly with real time battle mechanics, and survival building mechanics. There's also no evolution or anything like that. Most importantly, it was so successful in showing us how and what can be done with the genre, that pokemon is forced to improve. Something they hate. Look at the new game. It's being forced to implement open world AND battle mechanics in that open world, but doesn't know how to execute the implementation so it looks horrendously clumsy. The feeling with be clunky, graphics shit, assets reused, etc. Nonetheless, pokemon is being forced to improve, even if they're not capable of it. They're being forced to fulfill the demand of the fans now that got a taste of what can be. Nintendo, gamefreak and pokemon are being forced to course correct and make a game that follows a trend set by an indie developer. If you can't see why Nintendo is terrified and why they're arbitrarily patenting game mechanics and suing on no grounds, then you're either not paying attention, or ar a Nintendog shill.
>>11575188Just wait for gen 10 bro
>>11575126No it won't >>11575188Spoken like a true psycho.
>>11575193Not with the way they'll introduce new animations and then drop them in the next game when they're already made. Just so many cut corners and laziness.
>>11575110Because its continued existence threatens to force Nintendo/Game Freak to get off their lazy asses and do more than the bare minimum (if even that).
>>11575167>>11575215Found the angry poketard
>>11575110>Why is Nintendo scared of Palworld?because it did everything better than nintendo. If they weren't retarded japs they would have hired the palworld team to make the next pokemon.
>>11575100>https://toyworldmag.co.uk/the-loyal-subjects-brings-palworld-to-life-with-toys-and-collectibles/Their plush are great but they have REALLY limited releases worldwide.
>>11575167Considering they just announced both it's 1.0 full release AND a spin off Harvest Moon style game set in the same universe, I'd say that iron is still pretty damn red, despite Nintendo's best efforts. The game has a lot of very action figure friendly designs and I would love to grab some for my shelves. Though they'll most likely just be little figurines or something and not actually articulated figures. At which point, I'd grab a Chillet and call it a day.
>>11575618>d say that iron is still pretty damn redYou'd be pretty damn wrong then
>>11575649Keep seething Pokeuncle!
>>11575110Yeah well digimon have boobs. They are worth the purpose of capturing and collecting. For reasons.
>>11575948Ill take Gatomon without evolution, as is.
Wow, way to strike when the iron is ice cold.No one gives a shit about Palworld anymore. This is Overwatch all over again
>>11576255Maybe that would be true if Nintendo didn't keep it consistently relevant with their petty lawsuit. And every time they make news with their patents of something that's been used by literally everyone for literal decades all discussion always circles back to the Palworld lawsuit, Nintendo unironically gave them evergreen publicity.
>>11576260Ignore the pokecuck. He can't get off if there's value in the product he buys, that's why he hates palworld. He can only goon if his wallet is being raped by dogshit bare minimum like pokemon. We all know Palworld is so relevant that nearly every view chasing game news YouTuber is constantly covering every punctuation change relevant to the case.
>>Pokemon ripoff Palworld getting toys.>>meanwhile the first and best ripoff of Pokémon still has nothing after more than 25yrs.
>>11575457NTA but the reason Palworld got so much heat is because it's not just "a game like Pokemon" or even "a game inspired by Pokemon". There's plenty of games that are mechanically borderline-clones of existing franchises that are well beloved in their own right (I forget the name of it but there was an "Animal Crossing except spooky" game series that's still very popular in Japan). The issue is it's an actual honest-to-god knockoff. They literally used Pokemon's 3D assets and frankensteined them together to make their "totally original" monsters, with the barest minimum of retopology to try and hide what they'd done. And even if we ignore that, it's just not a good looking game. It's horrifically bootleggy-looking with the monsters clashing hard with the asset-store environments and weapons, and overall it just looks shockingly uninpsired and cheap. I think the best way I can compare it to other, well-liked "game like X" is like this. Most other tributes/original clones are "What if [X] but instead of [Y] it was [Z]?" with X being the original game, Y being the characters, artstyle and overall theme/vibe of the original and Z being the new theme/concept. So for a good Pokeclone, of which there are many, the mechanics would be quite similar but you'd be in cyberspace catching computer programmes, or in a city catching demons (which is literally SMT). Palworld has it backwards- the formula is "What if we made a generic survival/crafting game but made it about legally distinct Pokemon?".Also I'm pretty sure it had Tencent funding, and that alone is justification for Nintendo to go nuclear. Fuck Tencent and fuck China.>inb4 pokeuncleModern Pokemon is definitely an absolute shitshow; SV were inexcusably bad to the point they barely even work properly. GF absolutely need to pull their finger out. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna defend a shitty looking bootleg game without an original bone in its body made by crypto-chinks. You can dislike both.
>palworldNever heard of it
>>11575100Probably gonna be real shit toys hastily put together based on bad designs>>11575110They're not scared of Palworld, they're scared of it causing a wave of more blatant pokemon clones devaluing their trademarks and copyrights, it's like how Hasbro is very careful with never actually using Transform in media now, they just being fiercely protective of their brand.
