>>11591437Yes I bought this one and the camping one
>>11591485Last thread reached image limit though.
>>11591524There is already another /lg/ on the catalog that still has 43 images left dipshit >>11581743
>>11591536The one that reached image limit is younger than that one.
>>11591538Okay? That's all the more reason to use it before making another thread dumbass
>>11591541I explained in the last thread that if I posted all the new BrickLink images I saved, it would result in image bump limit, meaning it would have been a waste of my time, hence me creating that other thread. You're so fucking autistic over chronological threads that you're unable to make concessions when such a move makes more sense.
>>11591544>You're so fucking autistic over chronological threadsWhat the fuck are you even talking about? It's basic common sense to not spam the board with more of the same general when there are already multiple threads open.
>>11591558That's a problem with /toy/ itself. If post and image limit were 500 each, the issue wouldn't be as severe.
$500(+tip)
shame its not ice planet 2002
>>11591607Space is even more drip-fed than castle, so I wouldn't treat the lack of Ice Planet 2002 as a full gone conclusion of never getting one, because Blacktron is one of the first space themes Lego created. At least you've got updated minifigs to collect, and they're really nice lookin.
The absurdity of this is at the price point they want for this monstrosity, you could buy an actual fish tank and some fish and a filter to clean the water and everything else you need to take care of them for less money.Yeah, a real fucking fish tank of similar size or lager, plus some fish, a bag of rocks, some habitats and sea grass for the fish to live in, and a filter would all cost less money than a lego set of a fish tank. What the fuck is happening to this stupid ass fucking company? I'm not even joking, you could get a 75 gallon tank, rocks / sand for the base, multiple fish ornaments, a filter, water heater, food, plants, multiple fish all for LESS MONEY than it costs to buy an imitation of the real fucking thing!
>>11591693I miss when stuff like this was a MOC on some dude's flickr account and not an actual set.
>>11591616I bought five and put them on my desk to give me hope.
>>11591784I would buy more. Aim for fifteen or twenty total. Then you've got a sizeable bunch of minifgs if you've got no other alternative than to craft your own.
Holy shit. I've never seen such elaborate designs for minifigures until now. Shows the potential Lego could do with them if they gave a crap.https://www.firestartoys.com/shop-by-brand/leyilebrick/Insane prices, but if cost isn't an issue for you then why not.
>>11591864>highly detailed prints and moulds contrasting with the blocky minifig shapeThis is like those photorealistic Minecraft texture packs. Minifigs are not meant to be super detailed and realistic, they were made to be blocky abstractions of a person to accompany the blocky Lego bricks in the 70s. At this point just make mini action figures like Mega Bloks.

>>11591693>>11591693the real 1-Up desktop Pac-Man machine, that was 100% real and really played the video game Pac-Man, was less expensive than the Lego set copy of it.Lego Fishtank gets bonus points for not smelling like a fish tank. have you ever had a fish tank? they STINK. and you have to clean it, too. the water gets all murky and it's a whole thing. where's the sucker fish to help clean the glass? Also, you don't feel bad if the fish die.
>>11591693>you could buy an actual fish tank and some fish and a filter to clean the water and everything else you need to take care of them for less money. The people who buy this DON'T WANT TO take care or responsibility.
>>11591928>where's the sucker fish to help clean the glass?Don't need it if the tank doesn't have glass.

>>11591485What’s your problem anon? Some of us like to post and view images.
Some kids mother is on another cleaning spree. Good for me (maybe) bad for him (I guess)
Seeing these I’m not having high hopes for any real Lego bricks. Take a look at the price for the Prick Bricks. Thats about 20€. Who spends that much for fake Lego and then throws it away? Maybe the number is not a price because that’s just crazy.
This is all I could find and gather. Looks like it will all get washed and put in the bootlegs bag.
>>11592064HAHAHAH what the fuck is thisit looks terribleid rather have less for more than...this garbage
This is the only Lego piece I got. Not every find can be a total win. Hope everyone is having a good October. The creator haunted house still isn’t in local stores yet but I keep asking. I really want those minifigs that it comes with. Halloween isn’t much of a thing here though.
>>11591693Lego wants you to look at sets like these as art installations. You're paying for home decor that you also get to assemble.
Thoughts on the latest slugger MOC?

>>11592062>What’s your problem anon? His problem is that he can't stand new threads being made unless both post and image limit have been reached. In otherwords, he's your typical 4chan autismo.
>>11592487Interesting parts, had a soft spot for mega bloks as a kid and they have a lot of interesting parts, wish somebody would produce the old hinges again as a printer or something
>>11592504in the defense of the autismo-guy, that other new-thread guy was making NEW THRED!---> posts after like 50 imgs constantly. that's the annoying confusing partI kinda think both of them need to chill, but I'm confused by new-thread!---> constantly, so....maybe new-thread guy needs to learn that there CAN be several "threads" about LEGO things, but there should only be "one" LG (Lego General)it might be simply a language problem, where new-thread guy could just say "Lego thread about Pokemon--->" but at this point it might be somebody trolling or rage-baiting or whatever it's called, and that autismo-guy keeps falling for it

>>11592648Bless you
Shhhh. The thread's asleep. See you all in the morning.
Love the current police car because it looks like a rad muscle car, expanded it to 8x16 in studio- gonna have to really build test it with physical brick to make sure its stable though.Struggled to work without using a designated vehicle base, so many parts seem optimized to work with the 6x12 cars lego puts out- but the 8x16 I made had four seats, two rows, and me and friends think it has a more realistic car look. I just dont like how the grille is small on it, and the tires seem small too to me.
>>11591536nta but I've totally been ignoring that thread because I though it was a moc thread...
>>11591693They couldn't even try and come up with fake glass for the front and sides? Or even a top cover (which a real tank would have) with lights? And they want $500 for an incomplete tank?
>>11592793I see a lot of people like to redesign regular lego city cars into speed-champion style 2-seater cars. I agree this muscle-car style police car is one of my favorites too. Little trivia, does it looks like an upgraded version of the other police muscle-car that exited a year before this one came out 60242 Police Highway Arrest set? As for your build attempt, I get it you tried to use as many of the pieces of the original car as possible, but when you make a car longer and wider it becomes harder to keep the overall feel of the original car. 1 thing that I experienced that Speed-champion wheels and mudguards are almost a must because the city wheels are too small on 8-stud cars. But in your case they might just work. What I would change are 2 things:-I would keep the car a two seater, make the hood longer and use a speed-champion style windscreen piece to lower the roof to a more streamlined look. -make the headlights 3 stud wide, and push the white strips on the hood inwards 1 stud, so they line up with the white strips of the front bumper
>>11592993I get where youre coming from, appreciate the feedback, Ill try changing it to a two seater and elongating the hood and see how it looks. I get your meaning with the cars just not looking the same as two seaters, im shocked it came out as well as it did- early in the build I thought I was cooked and it just wouldnt work.Heres a redesign I did over the night to try to get a more stable pattern with the plates that make up the base and undercarriage, before I heard your advice. I made the sides more flush, added rear views, evened out the bumper, and sunk both windshields- I def think its look better, Ill try switching it up with your suggestions and see how it looks.
So, why is it so hard for multibillion dollar company to do this?
>>11593017
>>11593016That is actually a huge improvement that the side is more solid and not broken up with the doors. As well as that you lowered the windshield, it does look more streamlined.I think you could use normal 1x3 panel pieces instead of the doors if they don't serve a function anymore anyway.
>>11593034Thank you, I didnt even jnow about the speed masters somehow. Im a little blown away by them, I just looked up their partslist and might try resigning this with the baseplate they used in theirs, but if this is stable when I do a real build of it then I dont really need to.
>>11593034Oh also, I was thinking of dropping the doors too but,I kinda like how they add dorrhnadles, I was thinking of just moving them up one slab to lift the door handle.
>>11593017>>11593018>>11592997>>11592998Why is it so hard for you to make your posts in just one thread?
>>11593056Not my fault there are multiple acrive threads
>>11592793I, on the other hand, have rules regarding vehicles:>passenger cars 4-5 studs wide>vans and trucks 6 >speciality vehicles more than 6I think 8 stud wide ones don't scale well with minis, but it is just my own preference.
>>11592568Threadly reminder that /lg/ has been highjacked but an attention fag for the past two years. We used to have slow comfy threads that lasted weeks. I don't even come here more than once every few months anymore.
Anybody got Fortnite?Do R.E.P.O, Ghostface and Art have Lego styles?
>>115931625 is such a perfect width for passenger cars. Is that convettible your moc, anon? I like it.
>>11593162I respect that an your tan convertible looks fantastic but I was actually thinking more like>6 wide for small vehicles such as smartcars or goldcarts>8 wide for almost everything civilian>10 wide for large trucks such as semis or firetrucksMinifigs are clearly on the extreme side of heroic scale but I def prefer better scaled builds despite that, to each their own
>>11593162That SV-001 fucks, anon, can I see more pictures of it please?
>>11593197>>11593201Yeah, that tan convertible is one of my smaller MOCs. Glad you like it guys, it was a lot of fun figuring out how to make it.>>11593209That SV-001 was one of the vehicles from Metal Slug I planned to make. I even submitted it to Lego Ideas, but it was gutted out by moderators. they took out the enemy tanks, soldiers and Morden, told me Lego doesn't do war themes at all, and that guns are bad. Rebel Army logo looked like a swastika to them too.

>>11591878>>11591864Yeah people way overdo details and shit, and stuff like super printing up the legs or easy to damage areas is a dumb idea, if I want a custom minifigure of somebody, I prefer it to not be an uncanny nightmare thats way too realistic looking or worse, a real head on a minifigure body for some god forsaken reason, but instead simplified down to late 90’s/early 2000’s standards of likeness, get it to be “oh hey it looks like that weird guy” instead of “oh hey that weird guy looks like it”

I paid how many hundreds of dollars for only four freaking figures WTF Lego??!!!one of the only reasons I post is that there is a super small chance that an actual Lego Employee checks on "social media" (this is part of that?) and will be clever enough to "get" a point I make, and it might influence actual Lego... somehow. it's a long shot, but... maybe?I feel like we are still in the middle of the multi-thread thing (and complaints about it) people still have things to "learn" from it. right now the chaos guy seems to be winning over the complaint guy trying to stop the behavior, and the site monitors who seem powerless to stop it (technically it's not rule-breaking hur hur hur chaos guy wins)there's a whole blog post worth of comments! who's going to write the book?
