In a first for some time now, an online-exclusive wave has NOT sold out on a single figure in the first 24hrs on BBTS. Previous wave saw Feral & Phoenix sell out, with Feral coming back in stock later.Iceman JUST sold out after being up for many days and even this morning, it's only now sold out on BBTSIt MIGHT just be closer to Over.
>>11592473WW2 Logan is the only cool figure here and the BAF sucksNot surprising really
>>11592473The fuck are you doing? It's early and you didn't even update anything properly. I'll make a real thread soon.
>>11592478These are all pretty niche figures, even the required Iron Man, Spider-Man and Wolverine, especially given a $28 price point.IMO Enchantress would've stood the biggest chance of selling out if she didn't already have an older release that a lot of people are probably still happy enough with.
>>11592495
>>11592495"Don't talk to me or my son ever again" energy
>>11592498Okay. I'll wait for your thread.
>>11592503You can delete this one, I made the new one with updated info.
>>11592498Why are you flooding the catalog?
>>11592524Because anon didn't update any info, the previous thread link is dead. Sorry, but you don't get to OP just because you want to.
>>11592524Because this guy is a micromanaging drama queen who wants to make every Marvel/DC general. I don't know why people even care to make generals anymore, let him do it since he has nothing else in his life
>>11592603I don't make the DC threads
>>11592498>NOOOOOOOOOOOOO>NOBODY CAN MAKE GENERALS BUT MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!Wow, are you a teenage girl or something?
>>11592532Sorry, but you don't get to OP just because you want to.
>>11592509Nevermind, I have decided not to.
>>11592532So, instead of simply providing whatever you felt needed updated in a post, you decided to be a micromanaging drama queen about it? Nobody but you is obsessively reading the first post. Learn how to play nice with others.
If Marvel OP is willing to keep track of pre order dates and regularly update the OP, I don't see an issue with him doing what he normally does. Not sure why this other anon felt the need to jump in when Marvel OP has been doing it for years.
Wow, the crybaby actually did it. Autism, not even once...
>>11592671Nobody needs this fucking preorder shit. Get over yourselves.
>>11592671OK autist
>>11592720I do
WHERE ARE MY CAPCOM GAMERVERSE?!?
>>11593655When was the last time Hasbro even did Capcom character action figures? The MVCI two-packs? At this point I wouldn't hold breath for a Sentinel.
>>11593754They should remake the Toy Biz Water Wars Sentinal and slap some blue on it. I always pretended it was the MVC version as a kid.
STILL not a single figure sold out at BBTS from the Werewolf By Night wave. Its over, isn't it?
>>11593792It just isn't a wave that has mass appeal. That's why they made it fan channel
>>11593799Clea sold out fast in the fan channel wave. Plenty of sell outs in Fan Channel waves. I fully expected Werewolf to sell out.
>>11593772
>>11593814At $25 maybe he would've. If he was fully pinless, maybe he would've. If he had accessories, maybe he would've.
>>11594452The general public doesn't really give a crap about pinless. Who doesn't like a generic werewolf?
>>11594459The general public doesn't buy Marvel Legends
I pre-ordered Enchantress last night and I feel like a fucking idiot. Think I'll cancel it later.
>>11594510I'm honestly shocked how small of an improvement it is over the one from 10 years ago, or whenever it was.It seems like it might even be the same exact face mold, or they were trying to recapture that same look.
>>11594510Yeah, it all looks the same, maybe they went pinless, but same head. I've been wanting Executioner so I won't cancel mine, but every year I'm buying less and less ML. I gotta say though, we've been getting 1 to 2 waves of BAF per year now, dramatically lower than ever for about 3 years now. Last BAF wave I bought in full was Zabu, then those faggots had to go and bundle Shanna with a Sauron I already have.
>>11594574>I gotta say though, we've been getting 1 to 2 waves of BAF per year now, dramatically lower than ever for about 3 years now. Last BAF wave I bought in full was ZabuWhy do people long for baf waves so much though? Ryan already admitted the baf piece is baked into the price so it is not a 'free' figure. So figures without baf pieces actually get more budget, and only a tiny amount of buyers actually even complete the baf anymore, the rest of us just throw the shit in a drawer somewhere, or if it happens to be a part that is in high demand it might be worth getting a fraction of your money back on ebay but it's a lot of trouble. >bundle Shanna with a Sauron I already have. Also you couldn't even buy that Shanna pack easily unless you got really lucky.
>>11594593>Why do people long for baf waves so much though?I'm just pointing it out, not "longing" for them. I'm kinda pissed, its $180 for the 6 BAF figures now when I might have bought only 2.
>>11592473I saw a 1977 Spiderman Marvel Legends in Walmart today. I had no idea there was a 1977 live action Spiderman movie. And then I learned there were apparently 3 in total, and a tv show. I feel like such a chump for not knowing about any of this.
>>11594814Same, I saw several tonight. I got mine by mail like a month ago
>>11593792I have waited years for proper Ghost Rider and Werewolf By Night figures, just to have babbies first customs presented to me?These aren't even half-assed. They are full-assed.
>>11594863I'm not sure what you expected. I mean both are pretty much squarely within typical Hasbro figure quality. Are they worth the price? No, but neither are most Legends. People just get their favorites because it's the only option to get them. Hasbro knew they didn't have to try hard with these. In fact I'd say their potential budget got sucked into Dark Avengers Spiderman to allow him to have 6 arms and still have accessories. Meanwhile Werewolf by Night gets 0.
>>11594863>Werewolf By NightI literally just read through the original series this year, the figure looks good to me.
>>11595183NTA but it has 0 accessories and pins. Not to mention the ugly neon green colored pants inappropriate for a horror character. Darker tones should have been chosen.
>>11594814you are indeed a chump and a tourist, im glad you are realising
>>11594863Picrel is a twenty years old figure. Hasbro legends are a bad joke.
>>11595180>Hasbro knew they didn't have to try hard with these. So much this. And people are seriously wondering why the wave is sold out literally everywhere.
>>11595276You mean not sold out anywhere, right?
>>11595301Naaahh...
>>11595190>TA but it has 0 accessories and pins.N.n.not PIIIINSSSS OH MAH GEERRRDD!!!!What Accessories is he supposed to come with? The "neon green" pants are LITERALLY comic book accurate to his first comic run.>>11594863>>11595190Buy >>11595241this version instead and stop crying (spoiler alert: it also has pins!)
>>11595276>>11595304>the wave is sold out literally everywhere.........HUH? Provably wrong.
>>11595312Couldn't be. Shill-kun said people are buying them up because it's their only option to get these characters. Shill-kun would not lie.
>>11595183>I literally just read through the original series this yearThat's awesome. Me too! I've just reached the end of the 70's. Read around 4,000 issues cover to cover over 5 years. I love how the series ended on a Ironman crossover. They should look good together. I wonder if we'll ever get a tri-animan?!>>11595190I actually like the vibrant colors, but that's because the team-up and two-in-one issues with monsters are my favorites since I'm more of a super hero fan.
Wake me up when Hablow grow some fuckin balls and make the real one... BANGER McCRUSHER
>>11595396Looking like a mix of Hulk and Thing parts could work
>>11594863That's how I felt about X-23 in the double pack. I was so hoping for a really nice, updated Laura and that's what we got. Depressing.
>>11595340>Me too! I've just reached the end of the 70's.Very cool. I'm in 1980, soon to reach 1981. Reading everything Marvel that isn't a reprint. I think the one I'm struggling most with right now is the Defenders, it's just so fucking shit. I've always enjoyed Chris Claremont's X-Men, but man, seeing the transition in comparison to the other titles being put out at the same time, it really was the dawn of a new era.
>>11595190>inappropriate for a horror characterIt's supposed to look like the comic book, pal.
>>11593792Who the fuck cares? Enough of this company wars bullshit, that's for losers, I got the characters I wanted.
So what are some good stuff we could get via the Gamerverse branding?>>A proper Living Laser >>Deep Diver Juggernaut from Captain America and the Avengers>>Red Skull in a black suit>>Mandarin in his blue samurai armor>>Adversary (X-Men II: Fall of the Mutants)>>Starforce (Avengers In Operation Galactic Storm)>>Pyro and Blob reissue>>Classic Boomerang (LJN's X-Men)>>Jim Lee Zaladane design (Sega's X-Men)>>Haslab Phalanxized Brood Queen (Sega's X-Men II)
>>11595926Some of the Cosmic Rivals characters like Phyla, Nova, Rocket another She-Hulk etc. They could be cool.
>>11595902I DON'T SEE ANY PINS THERE
>>11595902I don't see that black shading on the figure
>>11595190horror comics are some of the most colorful comics out there. this is a horror comic character. the pants are exactly how they should be and Mondo made theirs the same color btw
>>11595926>>A proper Living LaserSometimes I think I'm the only one who likes the design we got But I like red gauntlets Havoc to soo..
>>11595305Ive seen so many people complaining about a lack of accessories for a figure that wouldn't come with any that I just assume they want more hands >>11595304
>>11596403>horror comics are some of the most colorful comics out thereWhat.Generally the average comic is more colorful than horror. Most horror comics take place at night which leads to more muted tones for atmosphere
>>11595904>Who the fuck cares?you do. Thanks for posting!
>>11596431>What.>ANECDOTE OF ONE!Whoa lad, is that...is that a COVER???Meanwhile, yes, Horror Comics had the exact same ink brands everyone else used. Go pick up the EC Archives Tales From The Crypt series and look inside.OrAnd, bear with me here...Pick up a Werewolf By Night vintage comic or trade and look inside. WHOA!!!! And you'll see the new green pants perfectly match the interior art!!!
>>11596408>I just assume they want more handsIts....A....Fucking...WEREWOLF! Do you honestly expect pistol-gripping hands??
>>11596462Im just trying to guess what they want. Careful or someone will post one panel where he punched someone saying he needs a fist
>>11596465>Careful or someone will post one panel where he punched someone saying he needs a fistAlready expect that, the autism of this board has no limits. Even the old Toy Biz version had claws out, but people just want to bitch and bitch and bitch.
>>11596461>>ANECDOTE OF ONE!>Whoa lad, is that...is that a COVER???Most horror comics take place at night which leads to more muted tones for atmosphere. Try to dispute this. Did they mostly take place in broad daylight in your horror comics?

>>11596539Woopsie daisy. Pureasuh forgivu my foorishnisu.

>>11596547Some manicles for the werewolf to break would be nice too as an accessory
>>11596547>Movie specific accessories >Heads so similar you wonder why they bothered My path isn't blocked but the hands are niceI wanna say I wouldn't mind a neutral head for the ML even if I'll never use it
>>11596489>Most horror comics take place at night which leads to more muted tones for atmosphere. Try to dispute this. WHAT IS CONTRAST!?! Holy lying shit dude>Did they mostly take place in broad daylight in your horror comics?Yes, you insipid autist. I already cited Tales From The Crypt. You keep talking literal shit and acting like horror comics take place 100% at night, when they clearly fucking don't
>>11596489>Try to dispute this.CONTRAST MOTHER FUCKER. They didn't print horror comics all in black ink you color blind troll.
>>11596547>HURRRRRRRRR>MOOBIE IS DA SAME AS KOMIX!!!!>HURRRRRRRRRNobody's path was blocked, which is why you didn't even @ anybody. WWBN never had a silver cane, and simply wasn't portrayed as the accessories here use. You're simply a retarded troll trying to argue.
I'm so disappointed in Shuma Gorath man, the box is fucking false advertising with his tentacle posing. I also put his tentacles on wrong, but it's not like him being upside down makes a difference.
>>11596642Maybe that guy wants them to painted like it's nighttime so they'll look pure black if you try and do mood lighting yourself, like how this >>11595994 anon wants a return to the VHS X-Men line I mean, if they weren't stupid they would have just said it should have a black wash
>>11596662>if they weren't stupidIf they weren't stupid they wouldn't post half the shit they spew. This year alone I read ALL of Marvel's horror books until 1980 and the entire run of Tales From The Crypt. Marvel style didn't change, the entire colorist department had all the same inks and used the same styles. They loved using contrasting colors and these comics are really fucking bright, probably also something to do with not pissing off parents and the comics code authority.I'm just absolutely sick of the rampant autism of these stupid trolls INSISTING everything aligns to their warped reality while ignoring every fact to go down autistically screeching on every fucking hill. This board is just too goddamn autistic.
>>11596489>Try to dispute this.Looks like he did. BTFO'D!
>>11596680>posting ai
>>11596489>Try to dispute this.>Disputes it easily>OP promptly ghostsAs usual. Autistics are the most spineless
>>11596642>>11596644This guy has only read color corrected scans rather than what they actually looked like with dark newsprint on shitty paper
>>11596976>took you all night to come up with this asinine retortWhew lad! Share those same pages on newsprint and prove they are different! God damn, you are one stupid autistic motherfucker.
>>11597028Careful or he'll post a badly scanned, yellowed page and claim its the intended look
>>11597084He's not going to do shit. He's an autistic troll that will go down screeching because it's not in his chromosomes to ever admit he was wrong. Its sad, really.
Ausfag who just received his Juggs, holy fuck he’s huge.
>>11597028We don't all live on this board.>>11597084The darker print floppies are how people read them when the comics were actually released, and the action figures should match that. The figures shouldn't match inaccurate digitally color corrected collected editions, which is what most of the zoomers here have read. Now they have no idea what comics looked like in their historical context and lose most of the atmosphere.
>>11595902You don't know what a real comic book looks like, pal.
Why are these so meh? They looked alright in the box.
>>11597084>Careful or he'll post a badly scanned, yellowed page and claim its the intended lookWorse, he won't even try to match the interior art pages shown already, he's just going to cherry pick covers instead. KWAB! Look at the little guy struggle! kek!
>>11597261>All those VIBRANT pinks and yellows!Whew Lad!!!
>>11597358that venom is awfully skinny
>>11597427Thats because it is. Surprised Cap is the stand out of the set for me.
>>11597423He's even saying they were yellowed when they were new
>>11597476They definitely looked like >>11596642>>11596644when they were new. I remember them back in the 70s man. Everything was so bright and beautiful back then. Bring back disco.
>>11597464>>11597427You should compare that Venom figure to guys at a body building competition. He's not skinny at all.
>>11597486Compared to what it is meant to represent it is though.
>>11596404>Sometimes I think I'm the only one who likes the design we gotThe way I look at it, most lower-tier characters are only going to get one shot at a figure in an entire line, no matter how long it lasts. So make them in their most well-known or longest-lasting look, don't make some unrecognizable modern redesign that probably won't last five minutes in the comics anyway. Save that for if the first figure actually sells well enough to justify another.
Why can’t legends get tits like these? Even the “new” Enchantress, a seductive character mind you, has extremely small milkers.
>>11597640this is a stupid thing to be concerned about
>>11597702but you're concerned about it every day, troon
>>11597708speaking as a fat man with huge nuts, no it is not
why aren't you all talking about this getting cancelled
>>11597749Because America, Europe and Japan are still getting it and they are the only places that matter.
>>11597539Except it represents Venom perfectly.
>>11597749cancelled where?
>>11597819Man I wished legends had these strong physiques and articulation that storm has, unfortunately dwight is a complete and utter dimwit.
>>11597819>>11597821$27 btw
>>11597821Genuinely why do you come into a thread about things you dislike just to complain about them? Seems like a waste of time.
>>11597749What is exactly going to happen to that figure? Is it a regional thing or is the production going to stop
>>11597749Because it sucked anyway
>>11597912Seems to be regional. Sucks if you're a Chink. Probably to stop potential bootlegging. At least that's the rumor I'm going to spread around.
That was fast
>>11596655>I also put his tentacles on wrongWhat's the right configuration?
>>11597946>it turns out to be a show exclusive
>>11597836You seem confused, this isn't the Marvel Legends general.
>>11598052You always use this excuse, but you know what is primarily discussed here, yet you still knowingly go into a place that discusses something you dislike. Seems like a huge waste of time and energy to me, but you do you sweetheart.
>>11597821That will only happen after another domestic company gets the license and pushes them.
>>11598054>You alwaysNot your boogeyman and probably never even talked to you. I'm here to discuss Marvel figures, which, thankfully, Hasbro holds no monopoly over.
>>11598058Which company do you think would do a better job than Hasbro? Genuinely? Jada might make slightly better figures, but they'll be relegated to making only A listers and it will take them forever to release anything. Mattel is a joke. McFarlane can't handle the DC license, he can't handle Marvel. NECA would be less articulated and we'd get a million slight variants of the same shit. Spinmasters and Jakks make literal childrens toys. Seriously, who out there can do a good job at filling the same niche as the current Marvel Legends line can?>>11598059If you insist. Still, that excused is used all the time. Instead of malding about something I disliked, I'd probably move to discuss something I do like. But, I have a feeling you'd rather whine instead. Are you getting SHF Gamerverse Spidey or are you in an Asian country that isn't allowed to get him because of stinky bootleggers?
>>11597836I love all things marvel. It just upsets me that we’re getting low quality figures when other companies like storm or jada are creating art. I like jack russell, but that figure looks like it came out in 2013.
>>11598063>and we'd get a million slight variants of the same shitCongrats, you're an idiot
>>11598068>storm or jada are creating artYou guys gotta stop huffing your own farts, it's embarassing. I'd put Jada figures on par with the best of MLs. The Born Again figures feel pretty close to on par with the best Jada figs I have. But there are still things Hasbro does better, Hasbro is still leagues above Jada and Storm in terms of face printing. Also, Storm are imports and yes I know, they are making a compatibly priced line for SF3A, but I still count those separately since they're a Hong Kong based company.
>>11598063Nobody that I can think of domestically. I am taking your word that nobody would be able to handle the volume like Hasbro, and will only be releasing A listers like you mentioned. I don't think even think Storm('s Arena line) would be able to put out or complete lines as much as Hasbro. It's still no excuse for somebody to try replicating their method on a bigger scale, especially for a superpower like America.
>>11598080>especially for a superpower like America. What? What does this have to do with anything? Global internet access was a huge fucking mistake.
>>11598081Apologies I didn't realize you're clinically retarded.
>>11598096I reiterate. Global internet access was a fucking mistake.
I feel like you people would do better on a site with usernames
Another maximum failure. ouch
>>11598073>Hasbro is still leagues above Jada and Storm in terms of face printingLMAO
>>11598176Not sure why you posted a 1/6 scale figure that costs a multitude more than an ML from a line that no one mentioned. Seems like a disingenuous post considering that isn't a Jada or Storm figure.
>>11598187You said legends have good face prints. Here’s an example where you’re wrong. The legends look like dogshit. Scale and price are irrelevant considering the considering the mondo face (or even a better one( can easily be done in a 1/12 scale. It’s not difficult to do an attractive face, hasblo just sucks at it.
>>11598197They're still better than Jada and Storm, which was my point. I really like how you faggots go out of your way to make disingenuous arguments and replies all in order to try and dunk on Hasbro because holy shit God forbid someone say something positive about the toy company that will never know you exist. It makes you look like a retard lol. I'm still waiting for an example of a domestic company that could fill the same niche of quality vs character selection that we get now.
>>11598201Just because a character is lesser known does not mean that their figure should have no effort put into it. That werewolf is inexcusable in this day and age and really shows how little hasblo cares about making quality products>inb4 “well they’re a company they need to make money blah blah blah”That’s the difference between you and I, hastard, I’m not some corporate dick sucking sloppy consoomer that will purchase anything even though it’s the character/brand I like. Sorry hasdrone legends suck.
>>11598213What does this have to do with Hasbro having better face printing than Jada and Storm? I'm getting really sick of how goddamn stupid and overly angry you guys are. Holy shit. Go seek some therapy or trauma dump to your mom about how much Hasbro has wronged you. We've all heard it here a million times, and I'm tired of it.
>>11598218>tired of defending hasblo shitty practicesThen just stop.
>>11598221Anon, I ask again, and answer me this time. What does this have to do with Hasbro having better face printing than Jada or Storm?
>>11598223You said hasblo face print is “leagues above” jada’s or storm’s when that’snot true at all. Hasblo has been in the game longer than both of those companies and yet they produce slop like that rogue. Storm’s faces are far more accurate to the source material and Jada, the youngest company, is slowly getting better and better in the faces department.
>>11598225>You're wrong just because I say soNo sir. Hasbro still has the best face printing in the domestic game. Sorry that hurts your feelings.
>>11598197>why doesn't the mass produce faces have the quality of these 100 dollars customizersi hate having to share air with people this retarded
>>11597967Flat ended tentacles go on the bottom and the squiggly ones on top. Apparently.
>>11598272You should see the GI Joe thread, someone is saying reusing molds should make Hasbro lower prices and is offended that something released recently that's all reused parts is full price
>>11598272I mean, there's 0 reason hasbro heads can't look like >>11598197.having a good sculpt doesn't cost more. and the paint job isn't too complicated to be mass produced.
>>11598298Prove it, shut us up with facts you can source then. Cause anyone who disagrees can just say "they can't otherwise they would" and that has just as much weight as "they dont cause they're greedy" basically.
>>11598298Hastards can’t accept this unfortunately and will find every excuse under the sun to defend their corporate overlords. CONSOOOOMMMM
>>11598298>and the paint job isn't too complicated to be mass produced. This is where you're wrong though. The sculpt is there for these figures, has been for a while, it's just up until recently the face printing wasn't great. The past few years though, they look really good. But they'll never look as good as a hand painted piece that someone dedicated hours of time to. It just isn't going to happen, thinking otherwise just proves how naive you are.
>>11598063Skipping that one, it failed to capture the sprite yet doesn't really look like Bengus key art either. Still waiting on a Revo or Messtoys to do classic.
>>11598429>MesstoysI want that Superior Spiderman because it looks like an amazing figure, but the character was a disaster. I always hate that feeling with toys, when their is a really nice looking one for a character you have no/antagonistic sentiment towards.
>>11598490*there
>>11598490I feel you. Probably would have bitten if the head was just Peter's instead of incestuous clone's.
>>11598499>incestuousWell, I don't know why my head went there, but I meant gay Peter+Otto clone. Anyway, on the topic, gotta wonder how Chasm's lack of fans will affect sales.
>>11598367I'm saying that rogue head specifically, the paint is simple and completely doable at a mass level for pennies. corporate greed is what's stopping it from happening.
>>11598544No anon, it isn't. You may think it's simple and easy to do at a mass market level, but it isn't. That's clearly hand painted.
>>11598550I know that head is hand painted. But it's not a hard paintjob and can easily be done at a mass produced scale. They've done decent heads before.
>>11598552I'm telling you they can't do it reasonably at mass market. I'm sorry. I don't know why you keep insisting that they can despite no company, even imports, making faces that nicely done.
>>11598554
>>11598558If you think this looks as good as that Rogue head, you're either blind or deluding yourself. It's good, but it's not anywhere near as good as the Rogue custom.
IT NEVER ENDS
>>11598562Nta but it's not that far off in comparison, it's mostly just the sculpt of the jaw line being better on the Rogue and obviously the blush. Hasbro can do very good faces, Power Princess (for the love of God let the reissue be true) is very impressive, I think Spiral is very good as well and generally their face have improved a huge amount. Don't disagree that a custom painted face is always going to be tiers above, but if they can do PP once, they can do it every time, that for me is the biggest problem with Hasbro. It really doesn't take much for them to do enough to be acceptable, they periodically get it right and then just make glacial/no progress off the back of their better figures.
>>11598611If doing something once meant you could infinitely repeat that level of quality every time, the MCU wouldn't be where it is. It's not that simple for media and it's not that simple for figure sculpts either. Its not all the same person doing many of these sculpts as well, so you may get A sculptors, B sculptors, C sculptors or D sculptors.
>>11598639>A sculptors, B sculptors, C sculptors or D sculptorsThat's the point, they clearly can hire people to the quality of sculptor A, that allow them to produce figures in their line that are good enough, at the same price as the others. The point being instead of penny pinching to maximise profits, it doesn't take a dramatic leap to demand that all of their default level of employee capability match sculptor A. Set some basic standards based off their own examples. I mean what are we talking about here if you're just going to say "it's hard nothing can change, this is literally all they can do"? That's obviously not true.
Chadximum reigns supreme. Always.
>>11598738That might have been kinda cool if you have uploaded it properly.
>>11597358maybe because of your lights? He looks black on your pic but he is supposed to be blue.
>>11598242Yup just take a look at the savage crack head rogue or deluxe phoenix, really captures the characters beauty.
>>11599179speaking of, I am actually convincing myself to get that horrible basketball two pack just for the Rogue head. fml
>>11599179What argument even is this? Just because a couple of faces don't look the best, doesn't mean that any of the competition has done any better. Which was my only point, but because you midwits need to dunk on a toy company that will never even know you exist, you moved the goalposts or whatever. It's so annoying trying to converse with you cretins.
>>11599213>Just because a couple of faces don't look the best, doesn't mean that any of the competition has done any better. Why does this rule only apply to hasblo, hasshill? Storm has done phenomenal work and as for Jada, just because a couple of faces don't look the best, doesn't mean that they aren’t improving.>>11599196That’s a good little hasdrone.
>>11599245>Why does this rule only apply to hasblo, hasshill? Storm has done phenomenal work and as for Jada, just because a couple of faces don't look the best, doesn't mean that they aren’t improving.Because they're simply just not at that level yet. Storm is pretty good, but they're an import company so they're kind of a moot point.
>>11598666If you've ever worked at a business you would actually know some employees are just better than others. You take a risk when hiring, and no resume says A employee, C employee, etc. You only find out after hiring them, no matter how many interviews and work samples you try. And the hiring process is arduous enough they aren't just going to fire someone who can do the job on the off chance they might find someone better. Also they value speed more than quality at a place like Hasbro.
>>11599275Storm arena figures cost 30 at bbts. Legends cost 28 at bbts now. They sure as fuck are in competition.
>>11599317I never said they weren't competitive. Just that imports, regardless of price, tend to be better than domestics. Genuinely, why do you feel the need to "stick it" to Hasbro in these threads? I'm not even saying their figures in general are better than Jada, just that their faceprinting is. Get a fucking grip bro.
>>11599245>hasdroneI own two marvel legends and one of them has a defect so I didn't pay for it.
while a lot of you are seething about hasbro and marvel legends, DC fans are doing passionate and heartfelt videos about wanting an DC equivalent Marvel legends line.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTQ-6usMqNU
>>11599412I'd like that myself, but Todd has other ideas; we need our three to four Battmen per line.
>>11599412You call that zoomer passionate and heartfelt? He looks like he wasn't even born when dcuc started. Gonna have to get an older collector to make it believable.
>>11599412Funny how mcfartlands all have toe joints but for legendslop hastards have to wait for a maximum lol.
>>11599441There won't be an Enchantress discount
>>11599440and yet mcfartlands still would rather having a hasbro like line
>>11599412This is what is funny to me. The guys in the ML threads seethe and piss themselves about Hasbro, but the DC guys long for the days of a Hasbro style DC line. Really gets the noggin joggin
>>11599441>WWII Logan with metal bones>Just why?He strapped bayonets to his hands.
>>11599526Yeah, a line that isn’t all just batman characters, they don’t mean the shitty sculpt work or articulation legends has.
>>11598176Left head is lore accurate
>>11599537>but the DC guys long for the days of a Hasbro style DC line.Doesn't work, no one reads comic books and there's no momentum to push z list characters. Batman is what sells, which is why there isn't a Lego DC line and the marvel Lego line is just movie stuff
What a chunky Boi
>>11599608Shut up fag, the line isn't for you. Go buy your baby toys.
For anyone who has it, how does the Toy Biz five inch X-Men movie Rogue figure scale to the Marvel Legends line? And does a five inch Iceman movie figure exist too?
>>11599636It works so long as you accept that the Toy Biz movie Rogue has crappy 90s era articulation. There are two versions: one that has her in the black leather team uniform with a cloth cloak accessory, the other has her in her civilian clothing and a cloth scarf, that is only available in a two pack with a super fruity Wolverine figure that has him in his civilian clothing he wore when he first appears in X-Men 1. Of the two, the leather suit Rogue looks the best headsculpt-wise but both can be gotten pretty cheap. Movie Iceman? You are kind of fucked unless you are willing to pay out the ass. They did make a version for the X2 line but he was released at the tail end of the line and the X2 line itself had very limited production run as it was the very last 5 inch line of figures made by Toy Biz, who by that point had gone all in on the six inch scale with Marvel Legends. The figure, if you ever see him on Ebay, can go for $200-300.
>>11599469This is already an update. You'll probably be waiting a decade or so.
>>11599469I don't get this mindset. If you don't want her now because the price isn't worth it, what makes you think the price of a new figure in ten years will be any better?
>>11599692I guess the real question is will Hasbro still be making Marvel Legends in 2035? I have my doubts. The youngest ML collector will likely be in their 40s
>>11599616Why does he get a window package but Garganatos didn't?
>>11599758I believe shuma gorath is in like 8 pieces in the box.
>>11599412I will never ever in my life understand why there are so many Jokerized toys from mcfarlane.
>>11598490>always hate that feeling with toys, when their is a really nice looking one for a character you have no/antagonistic sentiment towards. For my whole life I never read comics but always bought things because they look cool. To be fair growing up half the time I didnt even know these weren't just some insane variant that only existed in toy form. I dont do it so much now because everything is expensive but sometimes I will literally watch mecha anime because I want to collect the toys but it turns out I have good taste. This was my favourite spiderman suits growing up. Apparently he's some guy in the comics.
>>11599441Warbow is a character from Crystar, who had a figure in the Void wave last year.Phantom Rider is one of Marvel's old Western heroes, he was actually known as 'Ghost Rider' before the 70s, and got renamed because of the other Ghost Rider. Between the original 1800s character and modern-day legacies there are at least four different Phantom Riders but the only one most people remember is the one that raped Mockingbird and then after they fought to the death his ghost haunted her.
>>11599795>four different Phantom Riders but the only one most people remember is the one that raped Mockingbird and then after they fought to the death his ghost haunted her.Um, actually Mockingbird willingly had consensual sex with him to cheat on Clint and then killed him afterwards. Didn't you get the memo, anon? That's much better than being r**ped.
>>11599880Chelsea Caine's ty had so much good damn continuity errors and bullshit and was so reviled, that Marvel considers it non canon ala the infamous Secret Wars issue of New Avengers illuminati and Hulk 99 Annual and Spiderman Chapter One
>>11599772He's the Joe Wade version of Scarlet Spider, and I like his regular form better. I've posted him before as a never-ever or D-List character I'd want as a Legends figure. X-Cutioner and Kaine were two others I've posted before and Hasbro made them, so if you're still reading my posts get on it guys.
>>11599772>>11599921Also a fun fact, there were a lot of random Spider-Man variants that people thought were made just for the toy line, but their designs were actually taken from this panel where Ben Riley was designing his version of the Spider-Man/Scarlet Spider suit.
>>11599772bro i have this still lolhad it since i was little
Hey guys, what Cap is the closest color match to the Gamer Verse Cap? I want to get some extra hands for him and accessories.
>>11599636>>11599642Collecting pre-MCU designs is a special kind of hell. I ended up getting that early early Hasbro Colossus just to have one to hang out with my Deadpool and it was terrible. The best I've found to hope for is that the character gets another swing in some Marvel Studios production and just hope they make it to the toyline.
>>11599772>but it turns out I have good taste. In that the animes were good and your taste for the character design was validated or that the animes are bad and your good taste guiding you away from watching them before was clarified? Also, did you still buy the figures anyway?
Name my band, /toy/
>>11600940Three X-Men Cyclops Action Figures.
>>11600940The Visors
>>11595190We got this before Vermin.
I got gamerverse jugg and man Hasbro really can't make big figures for shit. His hips are already super loose just under his weight and what the fuck is with this torso joint that feels like its going to snap if you try to turn it sideways? I'd try to lubricate it but I don't think his chest moves far enough to get anything in there.
>>11601479do people really not have recourse with hasbro when hasbro screws up QC?
>>11601499Every company screws up QC.
>>11601507No one said they don't. This guy is talking about a Hasbro product
>>11601528The implication was seeking recourse for something every company does is stupid and expecting mass market retail items to not have QC issues every once in a while is stupid and child like.
>>11599925Do you have a picture of some of the toys? I dont recognize any.
>>11600940You're missing the best one.
>>11600940Third Eye Blind
>>11599880I didn't want to go near that can of worms, and thought it was better to just explain the version of events that stood for decades instead.>>11599918Have that Mockingbird solo book and one issue of the Illuminati mini really been declared non-canon or is this just wishful thinking? Marvel continuity is so slapdash these days it hardly seems like anyone cares about maintaining 'canon'.
>>116009403 Seasons (All Summers)
>>11601536If a company sells you a faulty product they must account for it. This is the way of things.
>>11601544>>11601580kek, nice
>>11601550The only thing to be acknowledged from the Mockingbird series has been Dan Slott canonizing the notorious cover only "Ask Me About My Feminist Agenda" t-shirt Bobbie wore, via having Spider-Man wear it after a one-night stand with Bobbie at the very end of his run on the title. A shirt that only exists BTW because Cain wasn't allowed by legal to have Bobbie wear a "Non-Compliant" T-Shirt that feminist women have to wear in the Kelly Sue DeConnick creator owned series "Bitch Planet", even though DeConnick had given Cain permission to use the shirt design on the cover. And the issue in question of Illuminati has been explicitly declared non-canon because Bendis effectively declared all of Secret Wars II non-cannon, which pretty much could not be allowed to stand purely off of the cavalcade of storylines and YEARS of canon removing that would create. Not to mention that Bendis even got key elements of Secret Wars 1, from Bendis making a key part of the story Tony being the Iron Man in Secret Wars when it was James Rhodes, ignoring that Xavier got super cunty with Reed Richards and Tony over Magneto not being allowed in the good guy side to the point of basically removing the X-Men from the heroes side to spite them, as well as the fact that Reed was willing to let Galactus blow up Battleworld for the smallest chance that he could get Beyonder to remove his need to feed on worlds if he won or Beyonder straight up killing Galactus if they fought.
>>11601869why do editors just allow writers to ignore past events or declare them noncanon?
>>11602573It can be a good thing or bad thing, that’s the whole point of editorial they have to try and shepherd things in a direction to keep things consistent, satisfy the audience and also leave room for the artists to tell high quality stories. In theory at least, in practice it’s obviously a mixed bag. Especially when your industry is varying degrees of petty, vindictive manchildren with chips on their shoulder and pet characters.
>>11602892don't lecture me, kid.
>>11601479You need to rock his chest up and down continually as you turn it. After a while the balm joint 'may' loosen up enough to turn on a single axis. The hips can be fixed by heating the hips with a hairdryer set to high and popping them off the ball joint, then re-heating them HOT while they're off. Till the plastic is rubbery feeling. Then dip them in cold water immediately afterwards. Now lightly reheat them just enough so they pop on but not as hot as the last time
