With the show's 35th anniversary spawning a lot of new merchandise, I figure it's worth staring a thread to discuss it all. First up is a Speedy model kit from Bellfine.
It will include the Goonie Bird and Extra Toppings armor that can attach to Speedy.
Bellfine is also making a Ba Bird model kit. He doesn't seem to have any deluxe accessories like Speedy, which is too bad because it would have been awesome to have the Armor of Worc from the Bad Bird Uncaged two-parter.
Wave is also making their own Speedy with Goonie Bird model kit. Not too sure how this will differ from Bellfine's, but it seems to have alternate facial expressions.
Yolopark is making a Speedy model kit that is swappable between battle armor and pizzeria outfit. They have teased Polly and Guido at one point too.
Big Boys Toys has shown a prototype of Guido for their jumbo Sofubi Addict series to accompany the already released Speedy and Polly.
Speedy and Polly Pliffin Buddies plushes from Rimi Star Productions were also recently shown at an event.
>>11598019>Not too sure how this will differ from Bellfine'sIf Bellfine's Goshogun is anything to go by, the final product will be a lot more "toy-like" than the Wave one.
And lastly Action Toys revealed a whopping eight new SPC characters for their ES Gokin line: Speedy, Polly and Guido in pizzeria outfits, Bad Bird, Big Cheese, Francine, Princess Vi and Lucille.
That's about it for now. I'll dump a few additional photos, feel free to discuss about which items you're looking forward to. Here's a goofy alternate expression the Bellfine Bad Bird will come with.
Is the dub/interpretation of Samurai Pizza Cats really better than the japanese version?
Closeups of the Yolopark Speedy:
>>11598037It's a lot more approachable. Both versions are full of puns and references, but since the originals are Japanese puns and references, hey mostly go over the heads of non-Japanese audiences. Personally I like both, at their cores they have a lot in common.

>>11598031I hope they plan to rerelease the originals too.
>>11598093That would be nice, they've gotten expensive on he aftermarket. On that note, I wonder if the original trio's face plates will be compatible with the pizzeria outfit versions. Would be nice if they were, since there were some nice expressions, you could even mix and match eyes and mouths.
>>11598031One of my biggest toy collecting regrets was missing out on these 3 and their huge robot so this made me extremely happy. I'll get their pizza outfits if the OGs dont get reissued. I don't build plamo but isnt Yolopark easy to build or something? I might get those instead. I hope the game is good and gets us even more stuff.
Where the HELL do I actually find any of these figures? I swear every 5-8 years I see a new line of Pizza Cats figures get announced at some Toy Fair, I get excited, and then I never ever see them again, not even for resale.
>>11600262The ES Gokins were all available a places like HLJ, AmiAmi and 1999. Of course that was years ago, so they're all sold out now.
>>11598031goddamn, I'm trying to cut back, but I have to at least get best character Bad Bird and best waifu, Lucille.
What was this show even about?I remember everything happened very fast, episodes seemed to be a review of last episodes paradoxically enough, and... their armor... are they robots or some shit??
>>11601488Yes, everyone in the show is a robot. There was something of a chibi mecha fad in the late 80s/early 90s in Japan. In addition to SD Gundam you had stuff like Wataru, Musashi Lord, Iron Leaguer, and Pizza Cats.
>>11601103They have said that these eight will be at a lower price point, presumably because they don't have any big, deluxe accessories like the cats in their battle armor did.
