Murican versions now available on BBTS and Agabyss

Agabyss is like 40 bucks cheaper. Than bbts, and bbts chose the most unflattering pictures possible. Wish this first wave has the engineering quality of the later waves.

So this means I don't have to order of Aliexpress now?

You can still order off Gmarket if you want the latest season of upgraded designs AND pay 2x Aliexpress prices.

The Phoenix Armor animal form is pretty cool. The phoenix and dragon seem to be the only complete animals in the line.

Dragon, and I'm wrong the bat for the Vampire robo is a full animal as well

Where did you get these pics? Is this the leak they posted about on SAMG's Twitter?

The new stuff looks so much better than the old, why even bother with it? The one on the right looks great.
>>
>>11602298
1. You won't get right at MSRP in the west for at least 2 years
2. Some people like collecting all upgrades/forms of one character
3. Besides the main character this is the only guy to get an upgrade, it'll take a good while for all of S1 to get new toys
4. $65 for a commander is perfect impulse buy price, while the upgrade will likely be more expensive

Sure but these look like something from in between Energon to Cybertron era toys, which range from bad to really good, but nonetheless dated, and for prices that aren't that much better than those of TFs, it'll probably be a hard sell. Is a show coming? If that's popular hopefully it'll do well, but first impressions and all that, right?

>Sure but these look like something from in between Energon to Cybertron era toys,
Those were known for their large sizes, high quality plastics and numerous gimmicks, these do the same and are the exact opposite of modern Hasbro. There is absolutely a demographic of people that prefer oldschool Transformer/Sentai design philosophy, both for themselves and their children.
>and for prices that aren't that much better than those of TFs, it'll probably be a hard sell.
Even before the price hike these are an insane deal. Their deluxe equivalents are larger and heavier than Hasbro's voyagers. Their Leaders are bigger than Hasbro Commanders.
>Is a show coming? If that's popular hopefully it'll do well, but first impressions and all that, right?
The show has a dub and its bad, the fight animation is good and was done by a TF fan animator so maybe with a good performance people will latch on. Its at least better than Earthspark and Cyberworld.

These do look neat and the size is fun, it's just that the articulation seems to be lacking compared to their newer figures, which keep the rest of the size, and presumably build quality and what not. And don't get me wrong, those Energon/Cybertron toys were the most fun I've had with transforming TFs (probably cause I was around the right age) but even then I liked the ones that had great functioning articulation, and was disappointed by some like Scourge who was great in size and appearance but had some issues with its articulation that made it less fun to play with.

I'll have to look more closely into these, especially that boat. Definitely am interested.

>1. You won't get right at MSRP in the west for at least 2 years
dood these toys get discounted massively within a year on both chinese and korean platforms, so even when tariff'd you can get the new one at near msrp shipped in 1 year, don't need to wait 2.

same applies to S1. The NA version is coming out next year but you can buy the clearance'd korean/chinese ones right now and it may even be cheaper due to how massive the discounts are. it's like you're paying extra to be slow and lame.

Yes, KOs are sold at MSRP while official MCBs are sold at a markup. You can tell because of the lack of plastic card, machine translated name and lack of retail box.
>>
>>11599415
any recommendations from this first wave?
>>
>>11603588
Pirate boat doesn't have an upgrade yet so you won't be cucked buying it.
>>
>>11603601
Nobody is getting "Cucked" buying the first wave just because the third is coming out. The toyline has a natural progression to it just like any franchise toy. They made a choice to start at the beginning, it could be risky. If you would like to see these succeed, support the line, if not then don't bitch it has failed. This psuedo-drama you're trying to push only exists in your head.
>>

>The toyline has a natural progression to it just like any franchise toy.
Not natural if they are not in brick'n'mortar stores where kids can physically touch and lick them.
>>
>>11603636
Yea they made a choice to release waves every two years when it takes one month for Korea to release the toys non stop

So you say but with a limited online release, the only people carrying S1 will be the gays and yaoi-loving western fujoshis drawing manbot-on-manbot doujin art like a female version of MLP which is appropriate since the korean creators still refuse to acknowledge fembots despite the two female-voiced characters in MCBS which means all cardbots are gaybots in the gay cards in the gay closet.
>>
The amount of seethe by hasbro bootlickers ITT gives me the impression these will actually be successful.
>>
>>11603999
While I like the line, specially season 2 and 3 stuff. Unless the show is easily streamable on netflix/youtube and the toys in either walmart/target or amazon.com it won’t do anything.
Would be cool but i don’t think theres enough ease of access still.
>>
Oh no no no https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbfUvz2gL1s
>>
>>11604423
What's the likelyhood of this line getting some third party upgrades down the line, because I need Big Iron's cab to become a little blue robot man.
>>
>>11604665
Probably zero because 3P is mostly Chinese and they dont like Korean IP
>>
>>11604756
lol retard. MCB is so big in China they expedited S2 to release 6 months after Korea and even made a live action spinoff starring chinky kids and has its own toyline.
>>
>>11604812
3P Collectors are a very different demographic from children
