The over produced Viper three pack that regularly still goes for $30 on BBTS is less expensive then a new figure??? What the fuck???
>>
>>11601478
The Ghost Viper retails at $60, and scalper scum.taking advantage of the poor distribution that makes it to where it's not available in a lot of areas are charging up to $100 for one.
>>
>>11601478
They fucked up the production causing the white viper to have black guy limbs, which made the set highly undesirable especially since you can just eBay the officer Viper for half what stores charge for the set.

Why is Hasbro still pushing Cold Slither so hard? It will never be a thing. It was never a thing. Even in the episode, it was called a bad idea.
>>
>>11609327
It has an 80s charm to it. And it completely sold out in a couple of hours in the initial shipment. Now it's probably overstock after having a habit of first not producing enough of something, then following up by producing too much.
>>
>>11609311
Sadly I don't have a blacklight to test them with.

>Rumors:
>>Super7 Reaction+ Mara, Cobra Commander with cape, Scarlett (Arctic), and Snake Eyes (red glow)
Sounds like massive pegwarmers at Super7's new $25 price point. They still haven't sold out of the Arctic Snake Eyes, a red glow variant will rot. As for Cobra Commander, who knows? Many slept on their first o-ring CC, but Malibu Stacy With New Hat (Cape) might do decent for those who miss out, however the older regular reaction version went on clearance.

BUT, the worst thing going for them is there constant Quality Control problems. Who cares what "dream figures" you make when they break so easily?
>>
>>11610042
Who even is still buying S7 Reaction figures?
>>
>>11610042
Maybe. Their Cobra Commander sold out faster than shit, and it's rarely on Ebay, which tells me people are keeping it to fill in the hole in their O-ring original figures collection since the 1983 original is a bit pricey now. The new one is claimed to be like that one but with a cape. If so then it'll sell fast too.

Mara will also sell fast if she looks female and not fridge-body like Super7 tends to do.

The other two might do alright if they have good enough details. The current wave is noticably very plain on details.

There are still a lot of O-ring collectors. They tend to prefer vintage, but the right figures that blend in with the originals do sell. The most valuable one is Cobra Commander. The most waited-on ones are the black BAT and black Snake Eyes.
>>
>>11610096
The silver pins in the shoulders make me think the middle is vintage because I remember the pins in the shoulders being silver. But the other 2 have incorrect face sculpts, leading me to believe one of them has to be vintage because the initial figures are always the ones most likely to look different from the cartoon like G1 Megatron. In that manner the middle one's head looks far too accurate to the cartoon. Also the light blue of the left one feels more vintage. But those blue pins....unless they've aged and discolored over time. I think I will guess that the left is the real vintage and the pins were different across different waves, or discolor over time.
>>
>>11610106
The left one is the 1983 original. The right one is the reissue they did a couple of years ago where they went with "cartoon colors." It has cheap plastic shoulder rivets. The one in the middle is the Reaction+ version. Unpainted rivets are annoying as fuck, but overall it's a good figure.
>>
>>11610106
>I remember the pins in the shoulders being silver.
>the pins were different across different waves, or discolor over time.

The only time Hasbro didn't paint the rivets was the cheaply-made 1997 Toys R Us 15th anniversary figures. Other than that they were always painted, and sometimes with play kids would wear the paint off.
>>
>>11610190
>>
>>11610154

Maybe where you live. Where I live it was gone as fast as it arrived, and I have yet to see the Reaction+ O-ring Joes make their way to Ollie's or Ross.

>kek. no.
It depends on how they depict her. They have a bad habit of doing female characters with fridge bodies and nearly-flat chests to intentionally make them unattractive. Hasbro originally did too to where the Baroness and Jinx are the only ones they really got right as female figures in the original line.
>>
>>11610731
Hasbro seems allergic to bright colors now. They dulled the colors to Blowtorch, Crimson Guard, Sci-Fi, and others. Even Zarana's pink isn't quite as bright as it is on the original figure. They probably want to do Airtight, but want to do it in a way that makes it look more "serious" with duller and maybe darker colors.

They also made a full-on glow-in-the-dark for an "ultra ghost" viper. I just had to order one. I didn't order that other one, though. I'm still on the fence with it.

>>11610916
If I were in a favela then I wouldn't be able to afford $25 for one single action figure, would I? You're just another classic toy-snob who's not happy unless you're taking a shit on other people. You don't like O-ring figures? Fine. Don't. Fuck off and stop worrying about those that do.
>>
>>11610971

And what's the "toyline story" for Crystal Ball and his legion of Ghost Vipers? They didn't come up with any Joes to counter it.

>You're just another classic toy-snob
No, you're just another argumentative head-up-his-ass who can't see what's really going on but insists on your own version of reality being how things are. You can't deal with the TRUTH that Cobra Commander was available for several weeks before selling out because that undercuts your bullshit line about him selling out "faster than shit" and renders all of your future arguments suspect. I'm not a toy snob, I just can't stand childish statements like yours. Grow up.
>>
>>11610991
CC was the first to sell out in my area, and it didn't take weeks. Even now it's not the easiest Reaction+ O-ring figure to find due to people just keeping it instead of selling it. There was even a Super7 shill here not too long ago saying they're doing the one with the cape as a second chance for those who missed out on the first one.

So sorry if my own real-world experiences differ than yours in a completely different area, and you sure are the absolute lord of truth with projecting what you found in your area onto everyone everywhere. Also your holy source of the internet is greater than what people see locally in the actual stores. I'll bet that you never even saw them in person, and are relying entirely on the Super7 website. Well Hasbro's Pulse still has Classified Joes no brick-and-mortar store still has. Does that mean that those who saw them sell out in stores are wrong about people liking it and it selling out locally?

Fucking snob.
>>
>>11611011
>CC was the first to sell out in my area, and it didn't take weeks.

Dude, get over yourself! He was still readily available online for quite awhile. Nobody gives a flying fuck about your "area", talk about a fucking SNOB.
>Muh area. Muh area!

That's how we all know you're just pulling shit out of your ass to cling so hard to your own made up narrative. You just CAN'T admit defeat, we get it.
>>
>>11611020
Hasbro has lots of Joes online that aren't in stores anymore. There's the real world, and there's the internet. Just because Super7 had something online longer than the stores had it in physical inventory doesn't mean that it wasn't a success. You want to believe it's a failure because you hate it. So you do like you always do with picking a fight over anything that conflicts with your version of reality.

And yeah you're a fucking snob. I see the Reaction+ Joes as hit-and-miss, but I see the same thing with the Classified stuff too. But since you obviously hate the line then it should be considered a failure even though I never saw Reaction+ Joes at Ross or Ollies, which can't be said for Classified. Your opinion as derived from the internet is the defining holy gospel of truth into it, right?

Want specifics for my area? San Antonio, Texas, the 7th-largest city in America. It's probably a bigger place with more to it than where you live as there are only six other cities that are bigger.

You're fucked in the head. You really are. This isn't about beating someone, retard. I mention that they sold out fast where I live and Cobra Commander is still difficult to find now (even on the internet), and you just stay on the attack because "MUH INTERNET SITE HAD THEM FOR WEEKS." You never did tell me if you ever saw them in secondary discount retail like Ollie's or Ross. Did you? That would be a good indicator that a particular figure didn't do so well. Well really you never did acknowledge seeing them in person at all, and just went with "MUH INTERNET SITE HAD THEM FOR WEEKS."

Well they're doing a new version of CC specifically because of the success of the first one. There's not many on Ebay, and their prices aren't exactly indicative of a toy that flopped.

But you fucking snobs ALWAYS see things as a matter of beating down people who disagree with you, or do agree in some principle but have a differing experience. It's not a battle or a contest, you fucking spoiled arrogant teenage girl.

They never made it clearance because they sold out before then. You know that's true whether it be Ollie's, Ross, Mervyn's, Burlington, and elsewhere. You just have a hate of O-ring Joes that you think are crap, so you want to fight with anyone who says some of them sold well.

You're that fucking psycho that went on a shitstorm rage because some people like the new version of Crystal Ball, aren't you?

And CC did sell out faster than shit. It's probably the best-selling and most valuable (in the aftermarket) O-ring Joe Reaction+ has done. That's why Reaction+ is basically gonna make the same figure but with a cape so people have a second chance at it. A black BAT would easily be their most successful figure if they ever decided to actually do that one.

But since you hate it then what you saw the internet is all the ammo you need to keep attacking under a completely psychotic belief that you have to "beat people." You were the same way with Crystal Ball. You're nuts, and it's best that your posts just get ignored and hidden from now on.
