My Deadpool 2.0 (original release) had paint issues on his chest and none of his accessories actually fit, my MH Malzeno has one horn that looks like it got fucked over from an improper mold and is shorter on one side, and the Ryu I just recently got had paint scraped off all around his upper thigh (also the knee/hand issues). Thankfully, with Ryu I was lucky enough that Hobby Genki was able to get a replacement part for me. Those are only my most recent ones. It's become the norm to expect some sort of issue from them. I don't think I'm going to purchase another fig from them again unless it's a re-release. Which hurts to say, because they are probably still my favorite import company, despite all these issues. Everyone else seems to be climbing the latter to see how fast they can make their products turn to shit as well. Figma and Figuarts both seem like it's just a dice roll if the figure is going to explode in your hands or be a floppy mess.

This is not uncommon, a lot of action figure shoulders are like that. But most use the ball pegs towards the body. AYs use them towards the arms. This make a great difference mostly because that ball joint has more range compared to being inside the torso. That ball peg inside the torso is basically a normal peg with some wiggle to it. New AY sculptors seem to miss that note and do what everyone does and put the ball peg inside the torso. Yuck. Unnecessary and a step backwards. And look at what's happening because of it. They're wasting money doing so and probably articulation range as well.

If you're a kid, I get it, you may accidentally break it, but as most of us are adults we should be able to be aware of potential problems like that and deal with them.

Her cheeks are sculpted on the crotch piece and the thigh pieces are just the continuation curvature so it's not suppose to have a butt on it. There were a few that were bundled with a QB game book and those were hard to get. Maybe they were less made compared to say an Evangelion Revo because they were Hobby Stock distributed. They definitely can't do anything similar now that the banks own their asses.

Also maybe the compression from inserting the arms back is deforming it too, so you could heat up the sockets before and after putting them back together, let it expand onto the pegs and hope that fills the gaps enough.

IPs didn't matter that much for most of the years Revoltechs were running strong, not for the amount they can distribute. That's why the lineup was so all over the place and interesting. To their credit I think they fixed things so we still have some of that again.

There are positions of high resistance and low resistance, so keeping them in the high resistance position might loosen the grip over time. I'm sure the holes are also not the same shapes to match the pegs. A way not to screw up left and right for assembly probably. I use a hairdryer.

Is there any way to get into contact with Kaiyodo/revoltech customer service? I just got my Chun Li (from aliexpress) and as soon as I put the ball joint into her effect piece, it snapped off. I barely touched it. I'm pretty bummed. The whole was so tight I had to use a drill bit to get the peg out and now I can't use the effect piece because I don't have any more of those pegs.

I had to use the remaining part of the joint and sand the new one down so it would fit.
