>Final Fantasy VII gets Bring Arts of the entire AVALANCHE crew, Rufus, The Turks, and Sephiroth, all in their original 1997 glory straight out of the official art>Final Fantasy IX gets Bring Arts of the main party and Kuja>Final Fantasy Tactics gets a little less with only 3 characters, Ramza, Delita, and Agrias, but it's still something>Final Fantasy VIII gets NOTHINGI'm not a huge FF8 fan, but it's still be neat if they did Bring Arts for FF8 just so we could have Bring Arts for the entire PS1 era. We're so close.
>>11609571FF8 is the most likely line after 7. It’s not like they were making FF7 bring arts while they were still making ones from 9, the line still seems to be going albeit just lazy rereleases.
>>11609571I AM a huge fan of FF8 and am still pissed that we never got Kiros, Ward, Cid, Fujin, Raijin, and Ultimecia. A new Edea that doesn't cost $800 would be nice, too.
The fact that fft got anything at all is a miracle. I collect SQEX figgies mostly and yeah it's been a alow year with announcments for BA. I do kinda wish they wait with ff8 until their qc and engineering improves though. It's also kinda my favourite
>>11609571With this toyline you should be glad you're not getting your favorites given how atrociously overpriced the figure are. After all this time it still hurts me to think how much I spent on the DQXI cast, because you know Square is ripping you off and you still decide to go along with it due to how much you love the game.I would have bought all the FFVII ones if not for that. But one time is more than enough, I'm not going to be a fool a second time.

>>11610556>With this toyline you should be glad you're not getting your favorites given how atrociously overpriced the figure areWhile I somewhat agree with you, collectors/fans have no other choice but to give in to SE's demands as they have complete monopoly of their IPs, these Bring Arts figures particularly the FFVII line for me, was a dream line for me for decades as these are in 1/12 ish scale and in their 90's classic look(no offense to Remake design and I like them too but nothing beats the OG look for me and they rarely do merch of the classic looks anymore) which I didn't imagine would happen so I had to pay up, I did research quite a bit before delving into the line so I knew what I was getting. Not defending SE but you can't blame others if they dip into the line as nostalgia is sometimes hard to pass>>11609571FF8 has a good chance to be made into Bring Arts as they have some artwork made by Nomura years ago where they can base the figures off from, its only a matter of time on when they would do it>>11609636Tbh, if Bring Arts of FFVIII does happen, I don't see them doing Kiros, Ward, Cid and even Fujin and Raijin but that will depend on how the first releases sells well, they could probably do a 2 pack something like:Squall and RinoaZell and QuistisIrvine and SelphieSeifer and EdeaLaguna and UltimeciaPA SHIN Vincent reviewshttps://www.reddit.com/r/PlayArtsKai/comments/1ojbjc5/play_arts_shin_vincent_valentine/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijB71bED-2M
>>11610556The FFT figures were only about 8000ish yen, and were about $55-$60 with the exchange rate. I thought that was pretty good, though US shops were charging $80-$90 for them, though they also would go on sale for $60-ish. I imagine the lower prices were because they didn't really expect them to sell super well.I had wish we had at least gotten another set of 3 figures. Specifically, Chapter 2/3 Ramza, and Orlandu. Third character could be someone like Alma or Mustadio, or something.
>>11610596I don't mind simpler figures like what we originally got. It would definitely make them cost significantly less than what they produce now.
The only Square owned stuff I think I'd ever actually buy is Chrono Trigger. God help me if there are ever 1/12 Chrono Trigger figures.
>>11611147Outside of FFT, CT is probably the only other series I'd be all in on too. At least CT only had 7 playable characters, so is isn't like they'd go that deep unless they started doing bosses/villains and stuff.
That was a good pickup
I think the girl I bought it from was frustrated with how stuff didn't fit? All I had to do is sand the stand thingies for a moment and that was it. It was good price. Though she did misslabel it as play arts...so maybe it was just unfortunate wrong gift or something.
>>11610729I've been trying to get these for pennies just as a place holder for future bring arts or something. I just pray that chinks will start doing 3p ff figures like they do for dragon ball. There are a few already, but they seem to be pretty meh.
>>11611188there were rumors about a remake so it's not impossible
>>11611301No, the rumors of a remake were nothing more than the remaster, which came out a month ago.
>>11611302oh
Made her a witch hat out of paper since she looks kinda witchy.
>>11611379I wish I bought Sora when I had the chance. He's 200 dollars now.
>>11611407Yeah, it's crazy how expensive some bring arts get.
>>11611278They're not that expensive. Most can be had in the $30 area for MOC examples. The only expensive ones are the two boxed sets (especially the one with Edea), but at around $150 or less that's still not bad for quarter-century-old toys. The most expensive toys from FF8 are the Ragnarok ship (available in colored or clear). It was a "build-a-ship" with a piece coming with each of the Japanese releases of the Guardian Forces, and typically sells north of $1,000 for one now. Then there's Omega and Ultima Weapon, which run for a few hundred each.
