>>11610373>>11610374Wow, that's an organized general
>>11610373Is that AI? That's actually a solid likeness.
>>11610387>Dead generalProbably true unless the discussion is (a) patios or (b) James Gunn>Jarret is a faggotProvably false (at least the part that OP has anything to do with Valley Forge)
>>11610373I didn't realize there were preorders up for all these weird alternatives to DCMV besides obviously Hot Toys, Mafex, Spinmaster and MezcoIt's pretty dastardly how the domestic license holder of the 'master' license tends to overshadow other companies who also have offerings
REMINDER: Todd McFarlane is a dick who manipulates his production to make his shit sell out faster and make it appear more "desirable" He WANTS to feed the scalpers and he WANTS you hunting ebay. Todd can't be done with DC soon enough!
>Restricted to 1500 units, priced at $235.>Available to pre-order 04 November, 11 AM CT @ MondoShop website.
>>11610516It's crazy to me that some McFarlane Toys figures have only slightly larger runs than this (some are explicitly ~3000)
>>11610373>Big Shooter Kent
>>11610516>>11610527>1/6No one is buying this crap
>>11610429>Is that AI? Nopehttps://youtu.be/dfTvs7kwMl4?si=nmrsH1Kl0hsYWv0o>solid likeness.Yep, noticeable better than the 'vanilla' version, with its weird helmet hair.
>>11610489Its also odd that the dcmv dominates any discussion in the dc gen. You might see a spin masters post but thats it, mean while there are tons of other older dc lines and lesser known newer companies releasing figures.
BBTS selling box of 12 (out of 8 possible?) blind boxes/bags in a case with no guarantee that you don't get 12 dupes, for $33>Wonders how long till these land at $5Below and when YouTubers start posting package codes?
>>11610724They don't come with the cars, they're all separate. There are no box codes. With Blokees you usually get one of each with a case, and the chance of a chase for whichever figure(s) has(ve) one.
>>11610724No one should get into stuff like this, it's psychologically harmful
>>11610489I forgot the Revoltech Nightwing (and whatever else they have going on that is DC) and I'm sure I forgot a few other things but I was on a Zoom call, audio only since it was the work Android, and they had no clue I was doing this OP on my laptop. But yeah, Todd has really forced this board and some of the other sites that cover DC collectibles to fixate on his greasy output.
>>11610516>$235
>>11610998herehave a relevant one to use next timeyou can save yours for plebbit or the todd's discord
Maybe more people would care about the dolls and other stuff out there but it's always the same three or four characters, always the Hush designs, and only two of them come out per year. Or it's something like this which is just inherently unpleasant to look at.Todd was the only one moving the conversation past Superman and Batman.
>>11611030This. Companies that don't have the master license have to pick specific parts of DC to make figures of and it's alway it's always Hush, DKR, the Arkham games, or some movie. You've got Revolteck and mezco making weird license deals like doing one character a year or making original character designs. Mcfarlane does these deep cuts which I care more about than a new Nolan Batman that's objectively a much better figure.
>>11610516I wonder if someone actually keeps a "punishment" display. Like they keep this Twoface in their straight jacket with the scared head along with other inmates.
>>11611057No. Anyone who pays that much for toys always just crams them into rows in A pose.
Mods are fags
>>11611030he’s making a figure of a literally who character I’ve wanted for years, I’m honestly kind of grateful. a figure I would never ever get from literally any other company, certainly not one of these boutique Jap companies or some Chinese thing you have to get through aliexpress.so yeah, if you spent $100 or more to get a nicer Batman. cool. it’s Batman.
>>11611092Just wait till you get bannsd for >BANNED TEXTI hsve no gripe against the esteemed moderation team of 4chan.org but banned text is some next level hogwash

>>11611057My McFarlane Toys shelf is my punishment display, it reminds me of what a great toy company became. Every single time I look at it.
>complaining about VF in the meta thread>complaining about VF in this threadWhat did Jarrett do to trigger you?
>>11611151The Ben's expression just looks too silly; it's hard to take seriously. Cavill looks good though
Has anyone ever noticed that figures without capes never have wired capes? Fucking lazy shit man, i bet mattel wont be such a stingy penny pinching cheap skate like mcfarlsne toys when it comes to wired capes.
>>11611235>it reminds me of what a vanity project company became
>>11611343Not really, it was initially made just because in the 90s Todd thought Mattel would make shit Spawn toys and he was right.
>>11611296>that figures >without capes >never >have >wired capes
Are 20€ an okay price for the CT Batman (Mafex Knockoff)? Thinking about getting him but not sure whether the price could go down any lower
>>11611442Lol, idk, i was thinking of the goofy arguements ive seen here while i was messing with the sandman and batgirl. I dont mean any harm, just entertaining myself after work.
>high articulation with realistic proportions>fabric cape for natural posing>three interchangeable head parts>weapon accessoriesYours for only ¥14,080.00
>>11611622First of all, you can get it for 12000 yen. Second that's like $75.
>>11611622To this day, I don't understand what the fuck they were thinking when they greenlit this costume. I actually liked the Flash movie but Batflecks costume has to be one of the worst Batman costumes of all time
>>11611630Honestly, remove some of the excessive armor bits (ESPECIALLY THAT SHIT ON THE TORSO) and change the boots a little, and it would have been a really good costume. One of the few misses for Batman looks in the Snyderverse.
Which figure has the best ass?
>>11611638His arms and legs would definitely work to some extent but the entire upper body is atrocious. They could have just added a different symbol to the suit and been done with it since fans love the BvS outfit
>>11610527>that some McFarlane Toys figures have only slightly larger runs than this (some are explicitly ~3000)Well yeah it's usually the C/D listers, that's inevitable
>>11611641Ask Anthony, he rates the figures by that as a joke
>>11611650Exactly! It's crazy how good the BvS and Justice League suits were only to end up with...that.
>>11611650Affleck was fat by then and wasn't going to work out that hard or that much for what were essentially glorified extended cameo appearances.
>>11611693>>11611695Didn't they basically confirm this was getting made? Maybe it'll be blue instead, though. It was based on one of the flashback panels in Hush, right?
>>11611697Basically yes. They're doing the flashback style Batman, but in that he has the pouch belt and not the capsule belt, so it's slightly different. Also Hush might be slightly thicker than Knights Cursader. Regardless, I'm still really mad that they had to make the black version so hard to get/expensive. It looks so fucking good. I have both Black and Blue Hush Batmen, I'd really like to have both Knights Crusader too.
>>11611697Yeah there will be a black and a blue version. The main difference from those pics vs the real think is the hush gauntlets and belt iirc
>>11611693>>11611695Tight. Does anyone itt have these and can do this head swap?
>>11611708The neckpegs are different sizes and don't fit.
>>11611716Switch the necks too

>>11611733>>11611772
>>11611791I'll bet you all the grease you can salvage from my hundreds of CE and Platinum McFarts, surely enough to guarantee you an OPEC membership, that DoodleDude is NOT Valley Forge. While Jarrett does try to disguise and sock puppet, he usually does it by pretending his photos are phone posted images. But since he's too lazy to adjust his background, or "speech" patterns, it's not hard to tell which psycho is which.
Failsafe somehow sold out on Amazon. Absolutely insane.
>>11611864Selling out something like 1-2K units, probably mostly to scalpers, is nothing for the Todd to be that impressed by.

>>11611903If they say why? Why? tell'em that it's Toddy's nature. Why, why, does he make 'em that way?
>>11612150>>11612003>>11611903Never Forget: Beside the fact that this really is a disgusting waste of a body buck, paint, plastic, cardboard and packaging, McFarlane is putting this garbage out instead of a possible figure of a DC character that they have been asked, by MTS customers, via customer contact emails, YouTube, Instagram or FB comments, or direct outreach via Xshitter, or other social media, of character action figures to make/market for sale.
>>11612149You feel like you're being tricked by socks? It sounds like you don't even know why you're angry.

>>11612200Outside of Todd, and outside of Pissmaker (and just Cena from that show), and outside Superman movie, no other manufacturer is really doing anything other than Batcrap. Yeah, Jada made Cyborg in their 2pack versions, but otherwise, it's again Supes, Bats, Darkseid.Nightwing and Harley have to count as Batman/Gotham adjacent. Even the Mondo Two Face is Batman/Gothan adjacent. inb4 someone blurts out batgod is the only popular characterit's like saying everyone loves grape jelly which is why there's so much of it, not that it's the most common, but cheapest thing at grocers.
>>11612200>>11612329why do comic book incels continually cry about their irrelevant media not making chainsawman and demon slayer money at the box office? no one cares about your out dated boomer shit, batman is the only thing that sells
>>11611693>>11611697>>11611703They've showed both black and blue versions of this.
>>11612376And here is a mock-up coloured pic.
>>11611697>>11611703>>11612376Since it's Hush, they're on the Hush body instead of the Knight Crusader body - which for me is a big plus - I really disliked the tiny neck and plastic cape section they used for Knight Crusader - in person it's such a tiny neck and the plastic folds of the cape over the shoulders look bad and don't blend in with the cape at all. Here is a side by side, I ended up just taking the belt (well, the whole legs really) and head from Knight Crusader and putting them on my Hush to get that capsule belt look on a better body.Obviously the fabric cape on Hush has it's problems, but fortunately on the two previews they seem to have it laying around the shoulders a bit better (hopefully they'll cut down on the volume as well).
>>11612209Almost worth it
For $8 this guy isnt a bad Batman figure at all. Since "lol Spinmaster" and it being a kids toy I wasnt expecting much. The articulation is decent for the price point the only thing that would be nice that I wish they just went a little extra for would be a basic waist swivel I dont think it would have impacted to price at all, not expecting an ab crunch or anything here. But he does have full rotating and spreading shoulders(can t-pose) and full elbows and knees and can do a split at the hips which is fine considering figures like this usually only have one or the other of elbows or knees or neither at all.Has a decent amount of paint apps and they are pretty clean for the most part. Sculpt is pretty cool for a Batman he is supposed to be a "Ninja" Batman I guess but honestly its not too overt do he can also just be a good generic slightly futurisic Batman, size is good, none of the joints are too stiff or too loose and he stands really well. The accessories are alright I guess, a Playmates Ninja Turtles style rack of punch out monocolor cast plastic ninja weapons which are pretty meh desu but two of them are Batarangs which is cool to have included with a budget figure. He has a small ninja sword too that does have paint and good paint app even, plust a place to store it on his back which is unexpected but cool. Cape is a little small but not so egregiously so that it looks goofy, its fine honestly. The figure could have easily had an awful restrictive plastic one or no cape at all at this price, I like that its soft fabric.
>>11612403I wondered if anyone would post about these.
>>11612161>You feel like you're that anon who is not getting the proper respect paid to you? >It sounds like you don't even know why you're an attention whore.
My socks are deceitful attention whores so i wear them inside out to deny them the adulation they desire. It doesnt stop their lying and manipulative actions though.
>>11611793>>11611791>>11611772>>11611671why do you faggots continually refer to people by their first name as if anyone knows what the fuck you’re talking aboutkill yourselves
>>11612376>>11612377I hate to be that guy, but I do agree that it feels like TDK and Hush get done and done, and reissued, all over again. And I'm not even the market that would buy these but for what I might buy, Superman, I already have the things I'm interested in from someone who sold their accessories at a fair price separately, like the Black Mercy and pic related. The Mondo shit is fucking overpriced and again, what I've seen seems to be all Batman The Animated Series related as well, but if they ever did another set of toys from one of the other animated lines (The LoSH cartoon, Batman - Brave and the Bold - but not just Batman, or even the larger cast from JLU out of the DCAU cartoon), I would seriously consider the spend.
>>11612487Everyone knows Anthonys customs
>>11612403It's not a bad toy but I don't get the point of buying junk like this that you know you're not going to care about in a month.
>>11612496Outside of imports, how many McFarlanes end up the same with people selling them soon after buying them--same for legends when i check ebay too
>>11612497What does that matter? Just because people do it with slightly more expensive lines still doesn't excuse you for doing it. Don't dodge the question. Why are you buying something you (mow you won't care about in a month? Poor impulse control? Bad foresight? Are you an actual child?
>>11612335
>>11612486My socks have deep state connections. They think they can trick me with their illuminati lies.
>>11612497The most I've done is return an unopened McFart and at worse, ended up with say a merchandise store credit from Target versus a refund. That stupid Conner Kent chase with the "L" rip on his tee shirt was one perfect example of this. Nowadays, I try to decide before I get in line to pay, so I'm not dealing with bringing shit back.I did have to recently return (twice, two different sellers, ordered on-line), the Page Puncher Ghost of Krypton Brainiac advanced soldier drone because both times I received the shitty red and green chase variant, both for refunds.Anyone buying a McFarlane, opening it - and whether displaying it or not, and then tossing it, whether literally or by placing it for sale, or some other method, in less than 30-50 days, has a problem. Unless they are a wannabe toy reviewer who hasn't conned Todd to give them freebies.
>>11611030>Todd was the only one moving the conversation past Superman and Batman.>Todd>Ignoring Mattel's DCUC>Ignoring DC DIRECT>Ignoring Kenner's Super PowersHoly Fucking RETARDATION Batman!!!!
>>11612583he means currently and he’s rightyou’re the moron bringing up 40 year old dead toy lines and calling people retards? look in the mirror you stupid faggot
>>11612597I hate to break it to you sister, but DC Direct was manufacturing and releasing toys less than a decade ago; Mattel was making stuff less than a decade ago since your boyfriend, Todd, just got the license in 2019. Yes, yes, I know. Kenner Super Powers are old.We get it.Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.>>11612583Yeah, agreed. DC Direct satisfied a lot of my urges and they are attractive and varied.Yes, yes, I get it - some of you want to contort Wonder Woman as if she were Spider-Man and put her in position that your ten year old Diamond Select Marvel Spidey can get into (to compare similarly time frame sold toys), but hey, I would still rather have this DCD Wonder Woman than any of Todd's 7 inch monstrous variants.
