>bought a set of mcfarlane figures and literally all of them have stuck jointsIm fucking tired and done with this shit
Oh, just take a hair dryer to it, you big baby.
>>11611782McF;s are overscaled shit that try less hard than neca
>>11612167>>11611782
>>11612226Unironically their best Superman right down to the cape
>>11611782Where's the NECA guy to say it's normal, and normal people boil their figures in boiling water before trying to move any joints? And if it breaks it's your fault for taking it out of the package because normal people don't do that?
>>11611782we tried to warn you
>>11611783I disagree actually, op should e-mail the manufacturer and make them aware of the issue with his product, he shouldn't have to reach for the fucking hair dryer every time
>>11611783thisheat it up with a hair dryer from about a foot away for 5 seconds at a time and then letting it cool down for 5 seconds afterdo that 5 times each and then put it down for about 5 minutes to cool down completelydo NOT move any of the joints yetafter a 5 minute cooldown period get a small bucket and fill it up with warm water the temperature you're looking for is between 122°f and 139°f for optimal effectget yourself a ziplock bag and put your figure in it and only then put it into the warm waterget a timer because you're going to want to dip it for about a minute and a half at a time with a 3 minute cooldown period inbetweendo that 3 times and then take the figure out the ziplock bag and put it down to cool down for about 30 minutes at leastnow you can start slowly moving the joints that were too tight but it's best to not push them too much and repeat the process one or two more times for the best and safest outcome
>>11613687classic NECA guy
>>11611783shouldnt have to, especially for mcjewlane's exorbitant prices
>>11615766McFarlane has lost the DC license. Their Spawn and whatever else they make (Witcher for Netflix since I see those remaindered at Ross for like $2.99 all the time), probably also is greasy and sticks, but their customer service sucks ass.
>>11620204It takes longer to whine about this than it does to just heat up the joint. This happens all the time with imports too. Hell I've opened marvel legends with stuck joints
>>11619206I sure hope this shit is bait, this is what happens when designers/production engineers don't get customer feedback
>>11613687isn't NECA just statues with semi-moveable limbs? My Ninja Turtles can barely be posed.
>>11632074Worse, they're statues with semi-moveable limbs that break if you look at them too hard.
