Tbh, that whole shoulder/cowl/silhouette drama was a lil' bit overblown. You can lift shoulders and pads high enough that they look more or less in-line with the older termies.
I was especially worried about the IW Tyrant, but the fears were unfounded after I managed to play around with him. Promo pics really fucking sucked.
