Thank goodness for sports memorabilia fetishism that created a market of convenient diorama display cases.
more bangdoll progressthe arms are among the worst experiences I¿ve ever had, the entire assembly screams WHYwhy the everloving fuck you'd complicate and risk the integrity of the connectors this much? Nagano's autism is one thing but beauty in a mech is worth shit when you can barely put it together and everything falls off by blinking at it
>>11612859this took you quite the time, huh. what kit is this? does it have a lot of runners?
>>11612913Its the 1/100 Bangdoll of the IMS line by Volks. It is a infamous kit due to being the first, let's say, affordable plamo of the Five Star Stories mechas, which were exclusively resin kits by that point. It is like 15 years old since its release I think?Being a plastic model it was easier to purchase and build than a resin one at the time, but it also suffers from being the first release and its bad fame is associated to plenty of issues related to things than range from flash remnants in the parts, fitting issues, large seamlines and overall fragility, especially during the assembly process, for which yes, glue/cement is a must, no other way around it.As I have been building it I can attest to those issues. I'm basically doing a straight out of the box build, just using metallic black for the inner frame parts and flat topcoat for the light blue ones, but holy shit dude, the closer I get to completing it, the more fragile it feels. The joints of the shoulders and arms connectors are really bad compared to shit like Bandai's or Koto's, in the sense in which they favored aesthetics first over practicality. The moment I manipulate them the parts are prone to fall off.I'm still not sure I want to also use cement there because the problem is that they are composed by a series of parts that fit into each other like a tetris game and out of that mess comes the one with the polycap that houses the should balljoint, so even gluing them might end up making the whole thing brittle and prone to breaking.Despite all those faults and issues, it remains a relatively popular kit because the design of this particular mecha is something else, even among the more modern Volks releases
>>11612934funny stuff, this month Volks will release this thing, the second oneof their VSMS line, especifically made for Nagano's gothic style mechsthis and >>11612934 are supposed to be the same mecha, you decide which version you prefer
>>11612939I wonder how the DBB energy parts are supposed to work with it being articulated
Anyone get the star model varguil with gundam head and psycho plate bootleg? Do the colors match the bandai one? The one photo i could find has the psychopath in purple instead of navy blue.
Do people who paint feel obligated to paint every kit they buy? Like, when you see a well-molded, nicely color-separated kit, do you still feel the urge to paint it just to set yourself apart from snap-fit builders?
>>11613062I've never seen a model kit that looks good without paint.
>>11613077Any MGs from this current decade
>>11613078The bare plastic finish still looks bad and topcoat only does so much to improve that.
>>11613062>feel obligated to paint every kit they buyThey don't look very good all grey.
>>11613098So you do look down on people who aren't autistic about painting
>>11613106I don't, other people are free to do with their kits whatever they want, I just personally don't like unpainted kits.
>>11613062>do you still feel the urge to paint it just to set yourself apart from snap-fit buildersOnly "snap-fit builders" think that people who paint somehow care about them one way or another. They are sadly mistaken.
>>11613062I don't paint but I do want Katejina to step on me
>>11613116You're literally maidenless.
>>11613126She's canonically mentally ill

anything wrong with weathering on bare plastic and then using flat topcoat vs flat topcoat - weathering - flat topcoat?and can i topcoat outside with a can when it's cold but low humidity?
>>11613062More color separation just means it makes my life easier when painting. I paint because I enjoy it, if I couldn't paint my models I wouldn't be in this hobby.
>>11613148What are your thoughts on snapfitters who topcoat and do minimal detail work?
>>11613149Doesn't bother me, it's their choice as far as what they want to do with their models.
>>11613148>I paint because I enjoy it, if I couldn't paint my models I wouldn't be in this hobby. This is also why I'm considering getting out of the hobby, the selection of paints in the EU is just too limited unless I want to settle for water based paints
>>11613155Yeah I mostly use water based acrylics and recently started adding in alcohol acrylics like Aqueous and even those can be a pain to find here. I want to eventually switch over to lacquers but then I regularly see people complaining about how they can't get stuff like Gaianotes or Jumpwind because we only get shipments a few times a year.
>>11613160Not having access to brands like gaia is genuinely crippling for gunpla, to the point I'd advise those people to give up on the idea of painting, or consider getting into miniatures instead.
>>11613161What about the chinese paints on ali
>>11613182Unfortunately no longer price efficient since they've skyrocketed from 2-3 euro a bottle to 7-8, and 1-2 month shipping times means you always have to do big bulk orders in advance of projects
>>11613062I usually just paint for color correction. That said I bought a HG Shining Gundam for the effect parts so I might give it a Shading Gundam paint job.
>>11612934my god that's beautiful
>>11613155As a non painter, what makes water based paint so much worse than lacquer?
>>11612934Unless you've got an ethical objection to bootlegs, for most of the early IMS kits it's probably easier to buy a high quality resin recast for the same price and build that than to fuck around with the plastic kits. It's not like you're missing out on much of any real articulation.
Saw floating about on Jap twitter images of that Rozen Zulu Ep 7 version reprint, any idea if yall know if thats going to make it over here or is it over?
>>11613266You realize every country gets more reprints than japan? There’s so many jp social media complaining about overseas shops shelf warming. Even the no JP PB shops are full of shelf warming p b kits from people who cancelled their orders
>>11613201For model kits with overlapping parts, easier for the paint to chip off or rub off. Think of inserting an arm into shoulder armor and the lower part rubs against the chest by accident. It used to be pretty bad but companies have been making their non lacquer paints stronger.
>>11613333lollmao
>>11613339What about "aqueous" paints like mr hobby or tamiya acrylics?
>when the base you want doesn't quite exist
>>11613360those are alcohol based.

>>11613823Yeah, but what are they like to use compared to lacquer paints?
>>11613142please advise sirsi was thinking to just put glossy topcoat on the decals and leave the rest bare, do weatherint and then full matte coat. will be using tamiya weathering and pigments
For all their flaws, I still love these HMM kits. The abs on this one was rough, but the final product is great. Got three more to do in future.
>>11614271You need matte or satin surface for the weathering to stick to. You will have a bad time applying pigments to a gloss coat.
>>11612428Hello, I just finished watching Zeta Gundam and really liked Four Murasame. How likely is it that they make a new Psyco Gundam kit?
>>11612859>you have to glue each blade in the shoulder armor individually>repeat x12>they are barely held together by tiny pegs that will totally no break or simply fall off when attaching them to the arms/body/both/anyttime you touch this thing due to the almost nonexistent contact area with the actual armor
>>11614734Well, they did just make a Psycho Mkii, so I wouldn't call it impossible. They could probably use a lot of the same parts on the inside, honestly. I'm with you, though; I'd fucking love and upgraded Psycho Mki
how come every SD kit I've purchased smells like laundry detergent (I've purchased two but it's strange that it's happened twice)

Hey, I need some guidance. I’ve been thinking about getting into airbrushing, but honestly, I’m scared I’ll mess things up badly. I have zero airbrushing experience, but when I was in Japan about a year ago, I bought a bunch of lacquer paints, painting tools, and an airbrush. It was kind of an impulse buy since where I live, paint imports are restricted and supplies like that are hard to find. Now I’m wondering, should I invest more money to get the rest of the gear I need to start (like an air compressor, and probably a dehumidifier since it’s tropical and humid here)? It feels like a bit of a hassle. Or should I just call it quits and try to sell the airbrush? No one in my local Gunpla circle airbrushes; they all use spray cans. So if I go ahead, I’ll have to figure things out entirely on my own through trial and error. Is airbrushing hard to learn? Like, can someone reasonably figure it out after a few tries, or do you really need hands-on guidance from someone experienced? Would really appreciate your input here.
>>11615716>like an air compressor, and probably a dehumidifierWhat you need the most is a spray booth and the space to put it and a window or an air duct to connect it to. If you can't get that, the whole thing is probably a non-starter.>can someone reasonably figure it out after a few triesYes, it's not rocket science, as any craft it takes some fine motor control and some time to practice to get the muscle memory going (if you only airbrush once a year, you will probably never get good at it). Which means you want your setup to be ready to go in minutes and then to only take minutes to clean. If you need to put everything together for an hour every time you want to airbrush and then take everything apart for another hour, it's probably not going to work.
>>11615716>hands-on guidance from someone experiencedsounds homoerotic nglplamo is a hobby for shut-ins who never leave their rooms, everything is designed for you to learn on your own and from youtube videos
>>11613161Gaia is expensive as fuck though
Which is the best 3rd party kit?
>>11615716Airbrushing is genuinely super easy to start, I'm close to being an actual retard and I can do it. Mr Hobby stuff thins pretty well so you'll get a decent bit out of paint from every bottle. If you're just doing simple stuff like making a part a different colour it's pretty much just point and shoot with your primer and then desired colour. Get yourself a cheap kit, pick out some colours for it, and just get in there and paint it. You'll learn in no time.
>>11615937>Airbrushing is genuinely super easy to start, I'm close to being an actual retard and I can do it. Now I feel extra bad for having so much trouble with it, I always get either clogging or super watery paint spray, nothing in betweenAnd that's with lacquers

You build Chinese kits? Okay SNAApshitter.
>>11618209Funny thing is, Chinese kits are prime material for seam welding, panel scribing, painting and even PLA modding.Or at least chink girlpla kits are.
>>11618296>Funny thing is,but are they also cute?
>>11618302yes but not as cute as you anon uwu
>>11618302Thank you for reminding me I have to build the Onmyoji cute and funny sisters.
>>11618296Yeah, I agree actually. They're pretty fun for what they are.
>>11618296>Chinese kits are prime material for seam welding, panel scribing, painting and even PLA modding. What stops one from doing the same to the Japanese kits?
>>11617146that is a big horn
>>11618480those tail stabilizers are a cool concept, but the execution is very flawed due to how poorly the metal rods fit into the parts
>>11618479No that anon, I still don't have the guts to do stuff like scribing and outright mods on legit kits because they're more expensive so I'm iffy on fucking up with them.
>>11618479For some it's the price.Personally, for me it's the "flaws." The more noticeable a flaw is when the kit is assembled the more compelled I am to fix it even if I have to learn something new. And once I start making changes to a kit to fix something, then I'm also a lot more open to modding it.That said I avoid bootlegs and stick to original designs.
>>11618505Doesn't have to be a flaw, just some extra detail or maybe you want some obscure variant that never got a kit.
So I finally got this guy and there’s no Digimon thread, so I guess I’m going to gush about it here. It’s my first humanoid Amplified figure, and though I’ve been impressed with the presence of Machinedramon and Metalgreymon, but I wasn’t too thrilled with some of the aesthetic choices made with Wargreymon, Beelzemon, Paildramon, etc.. This release feels like a very straightforward representation of the character with a few greebles here and there. The real treat is the pretty obvious DLC factor: there are very clear choices in the build that telegraph a MagnaGarurumon release that can combine to form Susanoomon, but none of these choices detract from this kit’s articulation. I know that stickers won’t last forever and I’ll probably get around to painting some of those emerald steels at some point, but I also love the gel stickers they’ve included to really make some of those embedded gemstones pop.
>>11619073Susanoomon and MagnaGarurumon are both slated for their own kits, so I doubt they'll actually combine.
>>11619073>>11619090>magnagarurumon will be pbandaiyou just know it
>>11619090Shows how out of the loop I am! I’m a bit surprised to hear Susanoomon is slated as his own kit, but I think maybe these unused connection points are for Susanoomon’s weapon? I also see that the lower legs and forearms are detachable to mimick their (re)placement on Susanoomon, so maybe it’s just very clever parts reuse in anticipation for that kit.
>>11618593You're correct, but for a relative beginner like me small flaws are a good motivator to learn new skills.
>>11618169>Too much purple? It doesn't look purple at all to the point where I'm not really sure what you're asking about. (Did you mix a little bit of it into the grey?)
>>11618482and it is done
>>11619244it will be a while before I dare to tackle another FSS kit but despite all its faults, difficult and my own poor skills, the result looks good, the Bangdoll is quite the standout among mechas
i've been weathering with tamiya weathering master. it gives me some good options to apply layers of dirt, which is nice but it's still just that, dirt. how do i turn this into a properly weathered look? was thinking of adding rust lines and paint chipping. anything else?
>>11619073The head looks really off, like it doesn't fit the body. The orange feels too bright and kinda stick out from the overall color scheme.
>>11619244>>11619247Good job, it does indeed look fantastic. Really, all the old Mortardhead designs are top tier.
Sorry to ask this here, but does building model kits help curb depression? I asked some people I know who build model kits, but they can't seem to give me an answer. And not even /m/'s Gunpla thread gave me an answer.
>>11619713I was depressed before I started building model kits and now I'm depressed, poor, and constantly getting angry at myself for fucking up my builds, so I'd say no
>>11619713No. Hobbies are just a distraction, it might help you relax, but it doesn't 'solve' anything. If you have actual mental health issues, you should seek professional help. Hobbies can be an option to alleviate stress, but it's not a cure, it does nothing to address the cause of your issues or how to deal with your issues.

>>11619784Yes, but at least he had a sense to hold himself back at that time when it comes to robot designs. See: Raita drawing for Valkyrie Chronicle vs Raita when he does whatever he wants. Mortar Headds, L-Gaim, his Gundam designs etc strike a nice balance, they were unique, conveyed Nagano's aesthetics while also pleasant looking. Gothicmade is when he overdid it. There should be a balance, and he perfected that balance back then, that's all I'm saying.
>>11619713Eh, I mean it'll distract you from it while you're building.

I'm building my first gunpla mech, but it has like stickers for the color/details that you manually apply. It's annoying. I'll post it in the thread if the thread is still up in a day or two. I don't think I'll finish it tonight, but maybe tomorrow night? It's probably not an "expert" level build, seems like it can be built in about 6-12 hours...well for a first-timer/novice I guess? I can already tell you the stickers/alignment are not going to be perfect. I'm hoping it won't be too noticable at the end and it'll still look fairly cool/decent to display. I'm not even going to attempt to fucking paint it. That seems like a whole different level of commitment. At least the stickers add color/trim/detail so it's not completely solid white/one color.
>>11622189Which grade? Make sure you're actually applying stickers and not water decal or something.
>>11622222Checked
>>11619810You got Shining Gundam's beam sabers in there backwards
>>11622572Noted, have a Master for pointing that out.
can you guys rec some flat snips?
>>11623048Just go to your local hardware store and see which ones are flats. You don't need any specific brands or models.
P-Bandai are doing their Winter Fest sale starting on Friday and ending three weeks later. Nothing that really catches my eye, they don't even have Special Coating FAZZ like they did the last couple times, guess they realized they wouldn't get that many sales this time since they're finally reprinting the fucking things for regular retail.
>>11622994I don't know why I'm having such trouble posing the HGFC kits (and RG God Gundam), it should be tons of fun, maybe I'm just not creative enough

How do you guys determine whether a piece should be gloss or matte? or do you go only one texture as opposed to mixing them
>>11625487There are very, very few cases where any part of a model kit should ever be glossy

>>11625682I guess if you just really like the cheap kids' toy look...
>>11625705Yeah, that must be it. And all model kits are made by Bandai.
>>11625716For car/bike models it really depends on scale for me, the finish has to look scale appropriate and not like a hot wheels car
mega beginner question but if i paint a gundam completely then bandai releases waterslides months later, is it appropriate to add another top coat at that point or can i get away with just putting the slides that far down the line?
>>11626059Ideally you'd do a gloss coat before the decals to help them adhere better, than whatever topcoat you'd want afterwards to give everything a uniform finish.
>>11626080so doing the topcoat months after finishing the kit (since bandai doesn't release them when the kit actually releases) will still be fine it seems, as long as i clean and dust the thing when the slides come out?
>>11626099Yeah
>>11625705>cheap kids' toy lookSo, you mean, spraying a silly plastic robot from a cartoon for children with a flat coat suddenly makes it look like a serious solemn manly home decoration? Or like a toy from an exclusive boutique for rich kids? That flat coat must be some magical mind-altering substance. Come on, dude.
>>11623425>surprise bundlesdo you actually get good stuff or only shelf warmers?
>>11626174Haha>>11626059By the way, you can also look at 3rd party water slides instead of just buying bandai. Official water slides can end up costing like twice of 3rd parties.
>>11626174No way of knowing. The description says that the bundles are curated, so it's possible that you'll get complete sets of stuff like a RG Hi-Nu Mega Launcher, RG Hi-Nu, and Action Base 5 in a single bundle. But buying Gunpla in such a fashion seems like a really bad decision, especially if it's for an exclusive storefront where everything has to be printed and shipped from Japan in advance.Honestly, it's a lot safer to just not gamble with it unless you have never bought from P-Bandai before.
>>11626059not exactly what you asked, but it's always a good idea to do or more layers of topcoat atop of waterslides. not only does it seal them, it also makes them more flush>>11626245life's a casino, i'm telling you.

I'm going to pretend MS from the 2nd century UC didn't become smaller so I can justify buying the 1/100 MG and RE kits for my 1/144 collection...
>>11619713It helps putting it aside. For me so long as I'm working on a kit, most of my thoughts, time and energy go to the kit. I spend my summers painting in an outdoor shed under the scorching heat. That in itself isn't very pleasant but it keeps me busy and I get cool robots most of the time if I don't fuck up. In winter I can't airbrush so I settle for chink kits and handbrush details. Right now I have nothing to work on and feel like blowing my brains out
So seam welding on clear plastic parts... is it even possible?
>>11627189You can sand and polish the surface but there'll always be a visible line inside the part. Alternatively you can seam weld then recast with clear resin
>>11627191Given that there's going to be a huge void on the inside of the clamshells that you're seam welding together, resin casting sounds like an absolutely terrible idea.

As someone who don't collect 30 mm series, I do really like the more fat design like the previous baskyrotto and the roundnova. Though I really wish bandai stick to the rainbow colors variant like the first two releases. The general brown, green, grey and white do get boredAs for the knight I just just took the pieces from the plates without any additional works. Got to give it to the person who designed the original dummy system, it is a brilliant design. With the armor on, it literally moves like a real person. I just wish the gap in the hip is not so wide. And with all these companies making injection mold copy of the thing, I am a bit bothered by the fact that no one has actually tried to make a proper (like proper proper) plastic model kit. The kits you see on the market are pretty much just toy grade stuff and extremely rough and full of flashes. >I lost the red lense for the Roy Roy for my roundnovaDo I get a second kit? Should I ignore it?Or get another kit that has red lense that I don't care for for parts? Either options are about the same price.

Just finished my battle damaged Zaku. Doing something like this is a first for me. I think I overdid it with the dirt but otherwise I love how it turned out. I'm a sucker for the "torn-to-shreds but still standing" look so I went crazy with it.It actually kind of makes me want to do even more heavy damage builds. Anyone got tips on the topic or suitable kits to recommend?

What's the recommended Action Base for the MGSD Wing Zero Custom?

>>11629310i curse you with failled painting, broken godhands, and hotfarts.
>>11629320That is some of the oldest western Gundam fanart ever. I remember finding that image back when Gundam Wing was first airing on Toonami.memories...
>>11628848a lesson I learnt here regarding weathering"less is more"everyone always has a first time but it seems you overdid some things like the blotches of silver or the brown in the feetI'd suggest next time you try to go easy on it and first stick to the edges of the parts to apply the silver paint and inother sections that would naturally look more weathered
>>11629356It's giant anime robots. There's no such thing as overdoing weathering.
>>11629457>It's giant anime robots. There's no such thing as overdoing weathering.Anon that's precisely because there's such a thing as overdoing weathering. You need to remember that these kits are generally at a scale like 1/144 or 1/100.
>>11629457I mean, kinda. Yours kind of looked like he waded through shit.
>>11628848i dont get what the round spashes of laint are supposed to be. they're too uniform

Heads-up for anyone buying waterslides, Delpi is doing a Black Friday deal soon, so it's a good time to buy and save.
A question for those that paint.Do you bother seamline wielding the panels near the joints and just paint and repaint moving the joints or dont even bother sealing them shut and paint it in pieces?
>>11629476It's a human shaped thing with proportionally sized guns and swords. Having big holes, chips and gashes matches the weapons it'd face. We've had this EXACT argument before that spanned multiple threads and shit up the general so let's agree to disagree.
>>11630015Not that anon, but you are mixing weathering (dirt, small scratches, rust and other shit WEATHER does to you) and battle damage (actual damage made by weapons). Anon you are responding to is complaining about the weathering part, not the battle damage part being overdone.
>>11630012Depends on the kit, but if I can get away with it I paint in pieces
>>11630012With mech kits I usually paint in pieces seam lines don't really bother me all things considered. With anything that supposed to be natural like flesh or clothing I'll weld.
Been eyeing this "Thewind MP nu gundam backpack" set and in the promo images they've got what looks like a full MP Nu. I wonder if they're going to release more sets for the rg nu like the head, chest, and shoulders so we can make a full MP Nu Gundam.
Is $60 reasonable for an HG 1/144 scale model? Was going to get one for a Christmas gift. Most seem to be in the $30 range, but I'm guessing it fluctuates based on how many are made.

>>11631019NoAre you insaneNoIt gets reprinted now and then, we're just at a time when it hasn't been reprinted, even $30 for Nobel Gundam is insane
>>11631023That's what I figured, but I don't buy gundam figures so I wasn't sure. There are cheaper ones on eBay, but any labeled as unassembled are priced very high.
>>11631019absolutely not. thats vastly overpriced and the kit itself isn't very good, unfortunately. wait for a reprint.
>>11631025Anon they are meant to be assembled by the builderAnd the Nobel and the Berserker variant have cheap and alright bootlegs on aliexpressIs this for someone else? Can you maybe ask what kits they already do and don't have? Might be better than just getting them some rando kit
Does anyone know if there is scanned gunpla box like pic rel online ? I want to make some for my figureI mean, fully scanned from all the side, not just the top
I really like the Netflix redesign, please send help
I need these
>>11631012Hell no
>>11631019Jesus, I bought that Nobell for 20 bong bucks
>>11631019>>11631012Barnes&Noble has Berserker Nobell in stock for $20 if that's an acceptable alternative for you
ill be going to hobby lobby to buy my first gunplwish me luck
>>11631056You could try reaching out to any youtubers who have reviewed the model(s) you're looking for. A few photos, even if they aren't particularly good, should be more than enough at that scale.
One of my "wishlist" kits for a few years now is the Zaku Half Cannon. In the time I've been waiting ebay prices have gone from a low of around 60 to a peak of 140. I'm really close to getting the JMS bootleg off of Ali instead but I feel like the one thing stopping my pile of shame taking over the room is affordability and this will be a pandoras box situation.
>>11631765Oh, I alway keep my box (around 450) just scanning them/taking picture an cuting/reducing will add few hours to make moreI will make some and upload it, will share the link here
>>11631646What'd you get?
>>11632211since the line was long due to black friday, i ddi not get anything
Newfag to this general here. Got a quick question about the SD original Gundam series Jaburo Amphibious Zeon forces gunpla. Are they worth it? I had some as a kid and enjoyed them but was wondering if the quality changed at all. I would love to get them all but they're currently out of stock on the official store and the only other hobby shop selling a 4 model set was like 36 bucks. Just wondering since I don't have a ton of space and am trying to pick displayable models that'd I'd enjoy looking at on my bookshelf. Pic related.
>>11632330You shouldn't be paying more than like 25 CAD for the trioI don't have them because I opted for the SDs but it's a cheap way to get a ZockIf you love the amphibious suits and you don't have the time or patience to build the also-affordable HGs for them that aged well, then yeah I don't think it would hurt. I think the monoeye rotates for the Zock and that the Gogg can go into its swimming mode
>>11632330I would avoid looking for gunpla in general on Amazon, just about every listing I see has the price jacked up significantly, sometimes with some hefty shipping costs as well.
>>11630824That's the metal robot spirit MP Nu gundam figure, those pic are to tell you the backpack is compatible with that figure
>>11632330It’s a decent set, I’m not a fan of the zaku ii from this set (too much articulation for my taste) the standouts are the amphibious mobile suits but you can totally get this for under 30 if you shop around>sd enthusiast
aside from the full weapon set, what are some HG kits or 30MM kits (specifically legs and arms) that are compatible with the HGAC Leo that mesh well with the G-Wing/OZ aesthetic?thinking of painting my own custom OZ06-MS Leo
>>11633849Consider https://newtype.us/p/fTxMUMmdnWqEWCpKsRiS/h/option-parts-set-gunpla-09-giant-gatling
Dunno how I stumbled on this but I found this on EBgames' site on a pretty decent discount, think worth it? I know they upcharge like crazy but I haven't seen that particular kit for as cheap before.
>>11633202Ah. So it is. Thank you for telling me.
Reeeeeal stupid question cuz it says it on the can, but this can NOT be used as primer right? My head is spinning and they had this in the “primer” slot at the store
>>11634532anything is a primer if youre brave enough
>>11634532https://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/testors/enamel-paint/primers-top-coats-thinnersTheir website said it's a primer. Not too familiar with that product, sorry. If you're gonna try it, at least paint on a spoon first, I guess.
