I have way more figures than I have display space.

Naturally you just rotate them out. But what do you guys do with the toys not on display or that you currently don't have space for?
In an ideal world you have the original box and just place them back. But sometimes that can be inconvenient if you plan to rotate frequently Worse still is that you just might not have the boxes anymore. So where do you store the toys, especially smaller ones, where they can still be protected?

I've been wrapping them in bubble wrap and putting them in miscellaneous cardboard boxes but this can't conitnue. There HAS to be a better solution. Any ideas?

The stackable Like-It cabinets from Container Store. You can start with the cheap cabinets you can find at walmart/target, but Container Store has discounts every so often

Plastic storage bins. It's maybe not the best way but I haven't had any serious issues.
