Every bought any just to put on your desk?
>>11626076The G1 Transformers ones are awesome.
You can unscrew the loop from any ornament if you want it to be just a figurine.
Be careful with this. Ornaments do not have to meet the same drop tests that toys do.
>>11626294>diecast metal >rolling wheels >moving rods>articulated trucks>metal couplers >dropped it several times and the only damage it has is a few paint chipsThey literally never have to go this hard for an ornament, yet, every year, they do.
>>11626294Guess you can't shove them up your ass then, too bad for you. It isn't a problem for the rest of us normal people.
>>11626076Halllmark used to be great for Star Trek stuff before companies were making the ships like Eaglemoss. And now lately for figures of characters that never get toys. This year it's Boimler and Mariner. Last year is was Superhero Girls Supergirl and Batgirl.
>>11626076Yep It's too small but it's really well-made
>>11626456and it can stand by itself, the detail is really good, like the way the Daily Planet lettering is done on the globe.
>>11626168Yep, I've done that as well, but some of them are just designed to hang and don't have that base or did you add that?>>11626388I would have bought those, but not for $22-25 + markup and shipping at a secondary market. Last year, I was hunting for something else (but similar) as a gift and even stores like Macy's that carry them and had plenty were all shelves of crap like Marvel, Harry Potter, the Grinch, etc.
>>11626460It was made that way
>>11626460Everything this year has a $5 tariff markup.
>>11626388Master Replicas was actually supposed to be releasing a 4.5" wave for Lower Decks late this year, though I feel like the head sculpts on those ornaments, especially Mariner, are more accurate.
>>11626076>>11626168i do that with all those keychain figures from japan. they go for $5 on mercari and they're great quality.
>>11626554I was search for something for my cousin's fiance since he was teaching English in China last Fall and Winter to make money to pay for his college this year. And, obviously, while he could find me some toys and knock-offs for cheap in China, he couldn't get something like a Hallmark in a box suitable for a gift to a girl he plans to marry. I had to work hard to find that and I'm pretty sure I bought it for like $16.99 after hitting like 40-50 CVS stores all over my fucking county. And I was also looking for this and never found it and it retailed last year for $20 like it says today on Amazon, but the only place to find it was eBay or overpriced on Amazon from a Marketplace sellter, so I just passed on it and finally got it from a Walmart seller this spring.https://www.amazon.com/Hallmark-Keepsake-Christmas-Ornament-Superman/dp/B0CX9H8JCV/136-9289256-4245330I'd have to log in and look, but it was still way more than it was worth. $10 to $12 are great prices for these, more than it depends on what it is and how hard to find it is. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret buying this and few others. And my cousin's fiance was sure happy (it was some limited edition Barbie Christmas re-release).>>11626575I've bought a few of those - but the cake toppers - from China. But the quality can vary. Also, I guess now that they took out the exemption, I would pay for ridiculous shipping; I haven't tried buying anything since last fall because I was burned out and spending too much money online.
>>11626294which is odd, considering they're MORE likely to be dropped
>>11626869or children/pets etc get into trees and make em fall
