>be total anime chainsawman>come from trash western anime toyline with ugly faces>accessory, articulation & price mog marvel legends>accessory & price mog tf out of import CSMs>more accurate body proportions & head shape than import CSMs>be in stock and on sale for years >have QC issues but it literally doesn’t matter because Amazon will ship you a new oneI know it’s old news but, I got hyped because of the Reze movie and, Jesus Christ this was a random vein of gold in the cave of overpriced dogshit that is collecting rn
>>11628115Yeah
>>11628127Absolute cinema
>>11628115i love my Chainsawrmy. I dont even watch it
I recently got the shf and have the rest on the way.
>>11628115>no windswept tie accessoryits trash
>>11628115It's a genuinely good figure but>more accurate body proportions & head shape than import CSMsIs absolute cope. The SHF is superior in every way, nevermind the fact that the chainsaw on the head is way too short on the Total Anime figure. Still hoping they make Reze if they ever decide to make more.
>>11628115i got him at ross for $8 dollars and for that price it's way better than the shfthe only issue is the height, it's too short for 1/10th and too tall for 1/12th, why the 6.5" scale?also i wouldn't say the total anime faces are THAT bad, the mha line's faces are really good
>>11628144You should at least skim the manga for all the cool art>>11628164Skill issue >>11628363No the shf is too broad & squat and, the head isn’t oblong enough. Also the head saw should be smaller than the arm saws. Also the saws should go through the elbows not around them >>11628473I just pose him a bit crouched & it’s not a problem
>>11628568>You should at least skim the manga for all the cool artall i see are the same BW scribbles and extra detail most other manga has>No the shf is too broad & squat and, the head isn’t oblong enough. Also the head saw should be smaller than the arm saws. Also the saws should go through the elbows not around themSHF is still the most posable in comparison
>>11628363I think they'll make her. While these types of lines generally shy away from the female characters her design is toyetic. And there's not much else to make from the movie.
Imagine if this line did isekai MCs. That would be pretty cool
>>11628568>using the anime sheet as a referenceEh, I'd sooner trust the manga than the anime which already changed some of the designs of the characters, and in that regard, I find the proportions of the SHF a lot closer to how Denji has been drawn in the manga where he's far from a lanky guy. I always felt like the S1 anime reference model made him too lanky-looking and yeah I guess the Total Anime is close if you prefer that. There's also the fact that the SHF can actually pull off far more dynamic poses as a whole and its height actually matches how tall Denji/CSM should be vs the Total Anime being way too tall.>Also the head saw should be smaller than the arm saws.Yeah, and it's still too short even for the smaller head saw. Should be at least half a centimeter to a centimeter longer to get the silhouette right but they still made it too short. Nevermind how both the anime and the manga exagerrate the headsaw depending on the action scene so either way, the Total Anime comes up looking to small. Again it's a good figure especially if you're on a budget, but the SHF is leaps and bounds the better figure overall.>Also the saws should go through the elbows not around themWrong. Maybe if you want to stick with the anime model sure, but most of the time it goes around the elbows in the manga and there's plenty of panels proving this. If we're being specific, the chainsaws CAN change how they sprout out of his arms so they aren't always set in a certain way. Even so, more often in the manga it goes around the elbows.
>>11628680To add on, the Total Anime can't pull off one of the most popular pose from the manga, so the SHF wins in this regard.
>>11628680>>11628568Well I did us both a favor and I was right: manga usually has it go around the elbows while the anime tries to have it go through them. So yeah, I guess depending on your preference, the Total Anime is closer to the anime while the SHF has more fidelity to the manga.
>>11628695And another one.
>>11628680I don’t this so looks like a skinny guy with saws going through the elbows
>>11628687You are right about the articulation tho. I just don’t think it’s worth the extra $50 or realistically extra $100 since it’s sold out. obviously the quality of the joints and paint is better on the shf. The jazzware guy has hella tight ankle joints that feel fragile and the right knee is frozen on mine. The ol’ hot water trick couldn’t fix it but like I said I could just get a replacement From Bezos also, the modular limbs make it very easy to recreate the gore too
>>11628698These both look like a skinny guy with saws going through the elbows too
>>11628701Your middle panel literally has it go around the elbows and depicts him with broader muscle definition and shoulders than the Total Anime (compare the arms to the figure). Also despite claiming the SHF not being thin enough, it's still much smaller compared to the Total Anime being way too tall for Denji's height .>>11628709Fair. Again, I don't wanna shit on the Total Anime since I genuinely think it's a good figure for the price, but I rest my case. Like I said, I'd absolutely love it if they made Reze in the same line too, and I say this as someone who has both Denji SHF and already have both Reze's on pre-order as well.>>11628712Anon...
>>11628719Your not really selling me on your attention to detail or the shf but I admire the effort One last try at this pose that frozen knee joint’s my Achilles heel lol
>>11628725I'm not selling you anything, I'm telling you how it is. I even outlined here >>11628719 how the chainsaws go way past his elbows. Again, there's a purposeful design difference here between the anime and manga that both figures observe independently >>11628695. Nevermind how I even mentioned that the manga interchanges between the two while predominantly having it go around the elbows >>11628680. Your picture alone proves how the chainsaws going between the elbows is close to the anime but a clear mismatch to the manga.
>>11628729It’s just an expression dude I know your not a salesman Also he is too tall like 6ft7 for shf standard that being said it doesn’t bug me
>>11628734Yep, it's why I tend to display him with Western figures instead so it's not nearly as jarring. I'm really hoping we get a Reze as well so he has someone to hang out within the same scale.
>>11628115Yea, as an import fan, i cant lie. This figure is great for 20$
I like the Chainsaw Man, Deku, and Anya I have for the Total Anime line, but I do wish they'd had a boot cut or ankle swivel. That seriously hinders their posability in some cases.Have there been any new announcements for the line lately? I think vigilante Deku, Dabi, and Shigaraki were the last I saw.
>>11628819Shigaraki and Dabi have reviews on youtube. They're also making shield hero, solo leveling guy and kaiju 8.
>>11628115does this series have other men? I know there's Swordman and Bombwoman, but I don't want toys of those guys
>>11629137>does this series have other men? I know there's Swordman and Bombwoman
