The worst thing is that the thing that broke is the pillar were the shoulder joint is attached. There's no replacement for that and glue didn't work, I bought the figure in february so I don't think GS is going to give me a new figure. I'm going to use a nail ,like other anon suggest to me, to make a new pillar and do handy stuff that I have never done before

If that is solid plastic then yes the pin Vise will help, you drill a whole in there and at the end of that stud or nub that broke off, you get a nail that fits that hole and super glue it at both ends, if you do it well enough it will be like new.

Yeah, it's a very shitty picture, I couldn't make it focus more, but that was were the plastic colum was.
>If that is solid plastic then yes the pin Vise will help, you drill a whole in there and at the end of that stud or nub that broke off, you get a nail that fits that hole and super glue it at both ends, if you do it well enough it will be like new.
So basically I drill a hole there with a hot nail or something small, then I put a small nail with glue and then the joint with glue too... right?
>>11633824

Well if you are going to use a hot nail to melt plastic then be sure to be precise. You might be confusing a vise-grip and a pin vise. A pin vise is a little hand drill like in the picture attached. So you don't melt anything

A vise-grip is a tool like pliers that locks in and yes you could put a nail there and heat it to the point it will melt plastic, but be careful and use a tiny nail. You could damage the plastic if you go trough it and also that stud would be kinda hard to get right. But it can be done.
>>
>>11633937

Found an old toy of mine, this shark is from 1993, so it's older than most anons here. Funny thing is that I wanted to buy a shark a few days ago and was disappointed in them, but I thought that maybe my memories are just shrouded by nostalgia but nope that's the prove, animal toys did lose a lot of quality in the last decades.

Also the shark doesn't look that dusty without the flash I swear.

My Yuuka can never stay in a neutral pose without a huge gap showing the joint connecting the two parts of her torso and it's driving me insane because when I look at pictures of her online it seems that most people pose her in a way that her arms cover that area or just have her sitting or bent like in your pic. I wonder if the promo pics are lying and that gap is on every figure and the owners just avoid showing it.

The abs are very articulate in a way similar to Mantis Girl, but with the structure of the upper part of the torso (which juts out really far back), it doesn’t feel like you get much out of it. That’s also the heaviest part of the figure, by far.

The feet have toe joints, but that means it’s harder for them to support the weight of the figure. It doesn’t help that there’s no port for the included stand. The wrist joints are massive but they don’t take the alternate hand options very well. The head, for all its gorgeous design, cant look up all that high.

With all that said, it’s still an incredibly impressive piece of engineering, but it does just feel like a giant, hefty version of Mantis Girl more than it feels like it has any lineage with Unkval. Which is fine, but I prefer the latter over the former.

No, but I don’t think that is a feature of the beetle he’s based off of.

What really sells the whole thing are the accessories. They’re very expressive and reveal new detail across the figure in a cool way.

>>11638438
honestly everthing I see from this company looks amazing. The only nit pick I have is, I can't buy them where I live and also that the good guys and the monsters look too similar but that's probably because they share the same color.

I bought the Duke Knight (in black) and then like two weeks later ordered the Guard Knight, so I have to say yes!
>My gripes:
The armour is all metal, which is very heavy for the figure. The joints are too loose for the weight, so you get things like the arm drooping with the weight of the shield if the position isn't right.
The legs are the weakest part, you're basically restricted to simple standing poses. The tasset flaps that cover the upper thigh lack movement restrict the legs and you have to be wary of snapping them off. The ankles are also restricted by the armour from helping out.
The weapons are loose in the hand and the helmet flap comes open too easy, but those were both simple fixes with tape and blu-tack.
>The pros:
I love the realistic design and how they look. Love the weapons and shields, both come with a sword and alt weapon. Great details like the belt, rivets, fabric for chainmail.

I was also persuaded because this aliexpress store is selling them quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else, but they're legit.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005009076446643.html
And I only wanted helmeted knights, and found this store selling the Earl Knight's cone helmet, so I could use that on the Guard Knight.
