I assume he got crazy genius intellect from the mutation cause that's the only way it makes sense. Sure it's a kids cartoon I know. Still he basically solved most of their problems so he was their most useful at least. Also what are those things with Raph that look like Inspector Gadgets copter handlebars?

Sure, it was an android head, but that wasn't immediately apparent, and people getting decapitated wasn't a common thing on Saturday morning cartoons. But yeah, the torture Baxter endures, Nanobot, and a few other episodes really pushed the boundary for what they could get away with, right up until >>11633255

Also the show does a really good job keeping Shredder and the foot threatening. I wanted to collect some of the toys but they're not exactly cheap. I really want a Bishop but I don't know if I want to pay 100 dollars for him.
>>11633254I never really got to see much of what 2003 did. Every time I watch it, I just get bored for some reason, and Fast Forward wasn't a thing yet but I hated that too. I also hated Turtles Forever because of how self-indulgent it was against the 80's turtles

>>11630391This is where I believe they chiefly fucked up with Rise. The toys were just fucking awful. The show had some decent episodes and it actually did get a lot better as it went on (despite the no normal shredder route they took) but the toys were such a massive drop in overall quality from the previous lines that no kids could really get too excited for it in any way.
