Bulbous canopies edition

previous thread: >>11604871

This thread is for the discussion of scale plastic (and resin, PE, wood, etc) models kit
-Post photos of your builds in progress and your finished builds
-Have your builds critiqued or critique others
-Discuss tips and techniques
-Ask for advice or give advice to others

Always remember: No scale is ideal, except for 1/25.

Some helpful guides to get started:

Thanks for coming through. I wasn't in time to make a thread. I had a late meeting that just finished.
>>
Whats the longest you've gone from starting and finishing a model? I just picked one up after 4 years and it was basically 95% done when I stopped.

cmon lads crack those models out. The petrol tank and a couple of decals is all I needed to do for this 4 year one. I can't remember why I even put it down. I think I got annoyed with not knowing how best to paint it? Or something to do with painting white over grey primer.

The white portion even came out too thick but whatever. A decal will hide the minimal tape bleed.

Most of these are sitting because the dioramas I had planned got cancelled for different reasons or I let my gf build something, but she doesn't like the painting, so that was left to me which I have not gotten to.

Peter Trum.

He thinks it's funny for you to build an 1600 piece abomination only for it to have real life inaccuracies.
