The colourscheme is amazing. It has the same colours as one of my favorite toys growing up.

Added windows to my Sheik Mainland trucks... why did I buy 8 trucks at one go? Probably should've bought that special glue they use in scale modeling for canopies that don't frost up.

The instructions have templates but if you want to install the front windows without glue, you'd need to make your own measurements and make larger ones like pic.

I'm using 0.3mm thick PVC btw, it can be cut with scissors like paper.

The side doors have to be glued on. The template will leave a 1mm border on the edges for applying the glue.

Those trucks come with figures right? How are the sheik ones compared to dianauts. Can you do a side by side comparison

No, their drivers are sold separately. You need to assemble them yourself, 6 in a pack, colored ones are gacha. They are similar to dianauts with elbows replaced by ball joints, and also come with guns, tools and flightpack.
>>
>>11633736
I know!! I’ve only known about them for a year or so and it’s insane that this didn’t take off, there’s even a short ova

Ended up getting the toyrise Scopedog Red Shoulder Custom for cheap. Gonna put it right next to my Diaclone stuff since I heard they're compatible with Dianauts.
>>
>>11634383
>Dianauts.
v1 and female ones. v2 dianauts shoulders are too wide for the head to close completely.
>>
>>11634386
Huh, I thought the v2's were the same size, never noticed that before.
>>
>>11634388
V2s are the exact same height, but with wider shoulders, fatter hips and less range of motion at the hips. This makes them harder to fit into non-Diaclone stuff. Even with diaclone, they have difficulty riding the 1st version motorcycle (Road Viper?)
>>
>>11634096
That's cool do you have a link? Want some green ones
>>
>>11634627
Dunno if you use Taobao. Also, the greens are random chance from the colored boxes like mentioned.

So I got the latest Maxion kit and I better understand why this faction exists. The core joint structure seems to be a constant among the kits. I guess that was obvious to some other people but this was the first time it clicked for me.

Anyway, this guy is kitted out. I guess Bandai was smart enough to realize that the gunblades are stupid, because you can reverse them and create neat bladed tonfas. I like this guy a bit more than the Spinatio.

Next to the other Maxion kits. I understand that the Spinatia was more or less the road to 30MS but I hate how different its proportions are in comparison with every other 30MM kit…

…is what I would say, but these pictures don’t give that impression at all. Weird.

Pegs inside are blocking the legs from going in completely straight so it's tough to fit in 2 figures.

Also, these are 1:64, not 1;60, so many of them aren't working very well with Dianauts.

The outer shell of these blokees are weakly magnetic, not enough to hold onto official and MFT Dianauts, just barely enough for the generic magnets i bought separately for Sheik Mainland's.

BeastBox came out swinging today. Two combiners that split into four individual components, which also turn into what could be "cassettes" a la TF. The combiner also becomes a cube, naturally.
>>

Wut? Those came out months ago. Also watch out for the hinges on bird in the beast combiner set, they may come broken.
>>
Toyrise Scopedog arrived. Haven't messed with it much, but it's pretty good for the size. Only complaint so far is that a good chunk of the scopedog bits and pieces are on sprues, and you can't store it with most of those parts on. Not really sure why those parts are shipped that way to begin with, some are even painted so the cuts will stand out.
>>
no idea if this is the right thread, are beastbox doing anything interesting? I know they just released the new alien figure.

The new Xenomorph is reportedly hard to transform and prone to breakage.
Their cube bakugan came out last month, ok if you want some auto-transforming beasts.
7cm Mammoth, Ant and Rescue truck also last month. 2nd member of the Rescue team tomorrow >>11639030

I've never really liked the bakugan type auto transforming stuff. But I gotta admit, the pull-string mechanism looks cool

Part 1
Thoughts on it, note that I don't own any version of the artic gear Scopedogs soI can't compare them, I only have an ancient AG space Fatty, it's so old that the package was yellowing when I got it, and this was in 2015

-Articulation is pretty solid, arms get a good bend, and the piston punch locks well. The shoulder can also go pretty high despite having armor there, the only complaint is the lack of a butterfly joint so it can grab the rifle with both hands.
-Legs get all the motion you'd expect, but the thighs are limited by the design. It can also do the store mode and it's very well done, unlike the recent HG Scopedogs, the leg here needs to be pulled up by the shin (with a lock keeping it in place) and it can then pull it off with zero issues. The HG Scopedog has no lock and the knee assembly there is flimsy, with the toyrise having rock solid knees despite being half the size. The feet also have the rolling wheel and a working stake.
-Finally, the torso has the opening cockpit, lower hatch, head, visor and scopes, but the really pleasant feature is that the mid section has an additional joint for abcrunches and they still added a cockpit with a pilot.
-Zero visible pins or screws.
-Accesories is where the problems begin, tolerances are all over the place with the abdomen missile launcher barely held in place, while attaching the mini gun, backpack and missile launcher is an ordeal since all of them are too tight. Even the backpack is too tight (the only saving grace is the hooks on the back are both thick and are on a separate piece, so you can remove them, gently insert the backpack, then nudge it upward).
-Many pieces are stuck on sprees, like the rifle, alternate hands, latches, missiles, etc. This by itself wouldn't be an issue, but many of these parts are painted, so you'll need to touch them up. Some parts are also tiny, and I don't understand why they couldn't come pre-installed.
>>
>>11646357
Part 2

-The toy comes with a dedicated rifle holding hand, and despite appearances, it's actually several parts, similar to a HG. The only issue is the figure doesn't include an option so it can be held by the left hand.

All in all, I don't regret getting it for 30, but I'm not sure I'd spring for it for 58, or the insane 98 that it's currently up on Amazon (third party seller, but the Shining Heresy AT's are also at that price, sold by Amazon).

Closest I have to Sky Carrier's brown is Waruder's pale green color.
