I love 1/18 so much

>>11631335Holy shit!
>>11631335fuggg... I thought he was gonna be 1:12 only.Thank you based Boss Fight Studio.
honestly fucking surprised they are doing a 1:18 conani better preorder three like a good boy or paddy will be madjust wish they would continue with the King Features license too
>>11631627 I've seen a lot of people commenting on toys in general and collector's lines specifically in various places. It seems like collectors are getting frustrated with all the pre-orders and Kickstarters and feel that companies "should just make a product and I'll buy it if I like it."
>>11631335Fuck yeah! Is that a new buc for the 1:18 scale version? Time to work on a new diorama for this guy and Red Sonja. Now hurry up and ship my Red Sonja BFS!
>>11632023That's a pretty awesome medieval canteen!
So apparently if you don't throw in for the overpriced Tron HasLab, then Hasbro is basically nixing their whole 375 initiative. How gay of them to make this property the one that the entire thing hinges on. Tron has never been a super hot IP.
>>11632123Yeah, this is a pretty clear-cut case of self-sabotage.
>>11632123Such a dumb license to use. Tron fucking sucks
>>11632244Has anyone even watched Tron?(Mirin dem dubbies bro)
>>11632388I enjoyed Tron and Tron Legacy (haven't seen Ares) but basing a HasLab on it is ridiculous. Frankly I'd argue 1/18 isn't even that well suited to Tron.
>>11632123This is the single dumbest thing I've seen them do. I'm not going to pretend that kids still buy toys and that the adults who still do don't primarily buy 6" figures but between the budget scraps TVC gets and the absolute abandonment of 3.75 Joes Hasbro has really driven the final nails in this scale's coffin forcing us to pay extra for import figures if we want anything more than 5poa.
>been tasked to destabilize this small country. Top secret sh*t
>>11632898>been trecking for a few hours...
>>11632901>here looks like a good spot. *oomph* this shit's heavy..
>>11632905>got all a glowie can need right here... but where is that thing?
>>11632906>pretty sure I packed it... the thing more dangerous than my gun...
>>11632908>here it is... This can be deadlier than a nuke. Poor bastards won't know what hit them, this will go 'round the globe tomorrow. Spring revolution is a go.>just glowie things ;)
I dont normally collect 1:18 toys but I found this elf girl custom head and kind of wanted to get into it more now. Does anyone know what body the guy is using for it? Or does anyone else buy custom 1:18 heads on ebay and knownanythinf about that scene?
>>11632053thanks amigo. here some milk for you>>11632573that a fucking sweet pic bro. What line is that jeep from?>>11633165That is Planet Green Valley. You can get them from Aliexpress and other sites. I get them from ltcave dot com.
>>11633231>What line is that jeep from?NtA, but it's the M151 from 21st Century Toys.
>>11632525>Frankly I'd argue 1/18 isn't even that well suited to Tron.It could be if they had actually given a shit. There are vehicles in Tron like tanks and the Recognizers that lend themselves perfectly to this scale. Those should have been part of this crowdfund, not something small like the lightcycles, which would have been just fine for retail instead, or the pointless base.
>>11632573>>11633231>>11633337Anon is right. M51 from 21st Century Toys. I also have the TOW launcher one Pic Related. >>11633165Planet Green Valley girls with custom heads, most likely from pkba1577. I've gotten a few, what would you like to know? >>11633353Precisely. Tron makes perfect sense in 1:18 given the vehicles but nobody's asking for them; especially from the original movie. To hinge Hasbro's 3.75 initiative on this overpriced all-at-once wave is frankly offensive.
>>11633450>I've gotten a few, what would you like to know?I was just wondering if it's a good idea to buy from sellers on Ebay if they're from china. Is it good quality custom heads?. I dont know I havent done this before. And now the neck and ball joint connects.
>>11633231What line is this?
>>11633676the knights are BFS who are having a killer black friday sale right now, 50% off if you buy 8 or more of anything on their websiteincredible deal for some of the best 1:18 figures around
>>11633675I've bought several weapons and heads from pkba1577 on eBay which seems to be at least three different sculptors so I'd advise really searching to see what the best likeness available is. The pictures are pretty accurate. As far as the fit goes it varies. I got this Soap from the OG Modern Warfare 2 and it fit perfectly for an Acid Rain peg. I also have a Captain Price from the reboot whose got one giant chasm of a space dremeled out and it came with some blue tack to fill in the difference so its secure but not truly popped on. I'd advise not choosing a head with long hair. I have a Daenerys Targaryen whose hair feels fragile and gets in the way of most bodies. Delivery has been anywhere between 4-8 weeks. >>11633231Where'd you get the head on the female knight?
>>11633715nta but looks like a Mattel Jurassic World Claire
>>11633715Is this a bootleg of pkba1577's stuff? It's a lot cheaper and obviously a different user name. Is that a thing people do? I still takes a month to make is it just an alt account?
You stand in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryan, rightful heir to the Iron Throne, the rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains.>>11633727Much appreciated>>11633769I can't be sure but it looks like one of the styles pkba1577 sells. It could be one of the individual sculptors but I'm not sure.
>>11633715Head is Claire figure from "Jurassic World Dominion Claire and Dilophosaurus pack">>11633727You are correct sir.
>>11633823what’s the story on your tavern? scratch build? looks awesome
>>11633795 That's nice.
I understand the decisions and motivations to make the figures larger but it made me sad that I hadn't bought more. Also some female characters in the line would have been nice. Glad the line seems to be doing well at 6 inches although not my cup of tea.
>>11633919thanks. Just felt like making it. Yes, its scratch built. Don't have much time atm due to being busy with my kids and sports but I want to get back to taking more pics and creating more dioramas.
>>11634110
Here's the Captain Price head. Again, unlike Soap he's not sized for any specific peg. He's a hollowed out bucket that needed to be stuffed. i guess you can fill in with plastic cement or something?
An operator style helmet. You'll note the listing will make it clear this is fitted for the balaclava JoyToy head. It'll fit the male PGV balaclava head fine but not ideal. If you put it on an unmasked head you'll risk snapping off one of the earphone pieces.
If anything else I highly recommend the weapons. They look fantastic but are pricey.
>>11634110>Don't have much time atm due to being busy with my kidsI hear youGot stacks upon stacks of unopened figures/vehicles/etc that I just haven't been able to get to since my daughter was born

>>11635940 Thanks. I'm on the edge of making an order from Vortious Custom and slap some furry boots on Tarzan. to Conan him up.
>>11635992>Vortious CustomHe's still at it? I'm happy to hear that.
>>11635992>>11636226I should clarify, I bought a few pairs of the fur tops late last decade and have been slowly using them with this pair being the last. I haven't purchased from him since before the worldwide Covid fun.
Not sure where to ask this but any idea why I can't find this set ANYWHERE?
>>11636310I don't think it saw a regular release or anything.

>>11637800wait, they rereleased Char on a card? when I got him he was in a box
>>11637798Incredible
>>11638093My understanding is that its a Gunpla kit thats been scanned and scaled up so its fully articulated. I couldn't be any more jealous.
New van coming from the Jazwares Stranger Things line.
>>11638703It opens up to show the interior. It's on Amazon for $30
>>11638705Steve Harrington looks a little rough but at least you get a rubber chicken accessory for this scale.
>>11638706i already got one with svengoolie reaction figuremight use that steve head as a young Jacen Solo tho
>>11638703>>11638705>>11638706Really cool! Always fun to have more in-scale vehicles and for me at least, civilian looking characters.
I keep checking my tracking, but mammoths are still in New Jersey
>>11636353Correct. It was basically only available through aliexpress and other Chinese sellers. I found out too late.
>>11639478https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fgx203aeiGkLooks pretty good (I dont know who this is, it's the first result)
I wish I had had the wisdom to be a 1/18 collector, you guys are the Númenóreans of /toy/, the connoisseurs of action figures, I will forever watch you longingly from afar.
>>11639617>NúmenóreansWho are the elves in this analogy?
>>11639937I had a real think after you asked this and can come up with nothing, you guys are a higher breed, so choose whatever you consider more divine and that's your tier.
>>11640004I guess we're the elves. Superior but fading into legend.
>>11636310I don't know much about Fortnite but I randomly saw these white suit goons in a pack on Amazon years ago and I wish I'd bought a couple more now.
Does the new Titus with Laurels of Victory use the body from the deluxe edition or the regular titus? It's the best one so far, right? V4..?
1:18 mammothDog for scale
>>11640656cool!
>>11640656I need something for scale of the dog
>>11640656I got the snowy pair, and yeah, the mother mammoth is big. I do kind of wish I'd gone with the normal version so that it wouldn't have been as limiting in the kind of landscapes they can be posed in, but I doubt the mammoths will sell out any time soon, so I'll probably order one of the regular mammoths and pose it with the male tusks.
She's a big lady.
>>11640426Nvm, I preordered it and with it a Spikefist Termagant. Can't wait.>>11640656Do you know of any articulsted elephant figures?
>>11641884
>>11641943an alternate The Rock figure at one eighteen?
My local Target didnt get the other new Hammond Collection dinosaurs in, but it did get a few of the Sinoceratops. I'm probably gonna grab at least one more so that I can have one with the broken horn and one with the normal horn. >>11641884The only one I know of is this one >>11641943 had PBS not totally screwed up the mammoth crowdfund we might have more, but because they were inept, the mammoth barely managed to get funded, so none the stretch figures got made.
The stego wave got delayed because of problems with the Andrewsarchus's articulation and paint issues with the Pachy and Stego. The wave 2 armors also got delayed again
>>11643140
>>11643148
Gimmie ALL of these
>>11632123Maybe this failure will finally get Hasbro to stop fucking over Hiya and I wil be able to buy my Joes without jumping through hoops.
>>11643568these are so damn cool but I wish 1:18 wouldn't be relegated to 5poa and o-ring figures
On the off chance anyone has a 1:16 RV t-34 and a 1:18 tank, how badly out of scale is the t-34? I have a heng long t72 which I can tell is out of scale with my ultimate soldier tiger 1, but I’m still curious about the t34 since there are no 1:18 options on the market as far as I know
>>11644690
>>11644719one more
>>11644723one last because bullying stormies is a lot of fun
>>11644730ok now I stop for real
>>11644751forgot to put Leo into any of the action so here is one more...also let this be an appeal to finally add TMNT to JoyToy in the text of the general
