The 2012 Foot Ninja (single pack) went up for preorder on the NECA Store and other e-tailers.
Latest look at the Dek figure from Badlands.
>>11631595Damn, it's meant to be a Foot-Bot, but doesn't have the two extra arms?
>>11631602That version is in an upcoming 2-pack
>>11630025Nice! Hope you like the figure. It's pretty fun to mess with.
>>11631604Oh, OK!
>>11631595Damn I know those proportions are accurate…but I kinda like the og playmates one better
>>11631597Saw the movie last night. I see why they had to hide the "little friend" figure now. Also I would have to imagine we're in for a Dek figure in his bone bison armor with wormy plasmacaster. That look will make a neat figure.
Saw the Resurrection Mikey out at Target.
>>11631588>>11631591>>11631592Retro cloth figures don’t sell. Nobody asked for these. They are going to flop as they always do.
>>11632223Nothing better to do with your Saturday night than make a really lame troll post huh?
>>11632092They're online too. I haven't decided if I want to pick that one up or not.
>>11631588Did they unveil the new Chucky/Tiffany figures yet?>>11632238You posted this reply not too long after the post you’re quoting. Apparently you had nothing going on either
>>11633117They teased the Chucky blind box wave 2 set, which appears to include a Tiffany.
I still think my idea of Three Stooges NECA figures would work.
Well damn, I actually like this selection way more than the first wave. I want that Child's Play 2 poster Chucky.
I’ve been waiting for Child’s Play 2 headsculpts for so long now to go with the CP2 accessories that came with Ultimate Chucky! The Thanksgiving one is actually a CP3 headsculpt. Will have to get that one, too, and possibly the two Tommy variants!!
They need to make a Chucky that comes with a very confused Rick Steiner from when Chucky pissed him off on WCW.
>>11633472I kind of want this one, but this is a solid looking set of figures. I just wish they weren't blind boxed. Guessing they're doing this to get around having to officially license Child's Play 2? Clever.
>>11633472I'm definitely gonna need part two poster Chucky and Tiff. Thanks to USA being on all the time at my grandparents' place growing up, I saw Child's Play 2 more times than I can count and I still remember some kind of mobile display with the jack in the box dangling in the theater where I saw Ninja Turtles as a kid. "Sorry, Jack... Chucky's back!" has stuck in my head all these years since.
Will we get a Chucky NECA comic con exclusive with him in his talk show suit and his desk?
I'll be damned. The Boss Fight Studio's Fraggle Rock Figures and NECA's Sesame Street figures are both in scale with Palisade's Muppet Figures.
>>1163354130 fucking dollar blind boxes
>>11633542I saw a 3D display in a video store that had the jack head on a spring with cardboard scissors around it, and Chucky with real hair. Traumatized the fuck out of me. There was this old lady brushing Chucky's hair telling me "Look, it's not real"
>>11633743$20, but kay.
>>11633766FYE was selling them for $29.99
Does anyone know if there is a code guide for these? I only recently saw them on Walmart's website and only one video for them comes up on YouTube posted last month and it's just some guy finding them in the store. I'd like to get my daughter a couple of them since she's been into the movie but is too young for the actual figures right now.
>>11633770FYE marks shit up like crazy. Are you dumb?
>>11633799Seems that way. Not the dumb part. I saw a Toony Terror Art figure for 25 bux. Saw the same figure in another store for 20 bux. Normally I've only seen them for 20 bux, except FYE. I did buy some Return of the Living Dead Reaction figures from them, only because they were on clearance and a discount for 11.39 each, and glow in the dark.
>>11633787I didn't even know these were a thing. They're blind boxes? No clue if they're coded. I know the Chuckys weren't.
>>11633815Those the zombies from Return of the Living Dead's poster? Nice.
>>11634121Yea, I think they must have just dropped them sometime in October since that's when that video was uploaded. If they aren't coded, then that sucks. They seem to just be in a bag, so I wonder if you could feel through it to determine the silhouette. They're $10 a piece, which isn't a lot but I just want to get her the ones that aren't the black and white or gold variants. Hopefully those are the rarer ones.
muh pee wee arrives next Tuesday, assuming UPS doesn't fuck it upPIC NOT REL
>>11632092I wish the toonies at least had fully articulated arms. They’d sell better.
>>11634370>$10 How big are they?
>>11634414The head should at least swivel side to side and yep, the arms.
>>11634550No idea. Just judging by the size of the bag in the video I would guess maybe 4 inches?
>>11634667They all do that. In fact most are ball jointed heads.
>>11633815>>11634348
Let's see if I can post this now.
>>11633472No disrespect, but I have to ask. I've noticed when it comes to horror/monster figures, the majority of people prefer boring characters like this. Why is that? Out of all monsters and creature designs out there, most seem to prefer chucky, michael myers, clowns, etc. Characters with lousy bland designs and weak.
>>11635162...what? They're designs that have endure for decades and stick in people's minds and the general zeitgeist. Godzilla is still around and that's "just a boring dinosaur with spines."Things just hit right. They don't have to be overly complex.Who do you want?
>>11635192So the fact that the figure is based off a movie is the reason. I understand having a point of reference but still don't when it comes to wanting a figure of a man or midget doll. Not for nothing but that mindset is why we get the same shit made over and over again. Be it toys or movies.
>>11635194So what do you want?
>>11635194>So the fact that the figure is based off a movie is the reason.Yes. People see thing. They recognise thing. Buy thing and get sweet, sweet dopamine release.I know it sucks and I would prefer to get interesting designs like all of the Thing's various forms or Brundlefly because I like cool freaky monsters, but boring guy in a William Shatner mask wielding knife will always outsell them, even if most of the movies he's from are complete and utter garbage.
>>11635290Bad movies still produce memorable slashers and creatures.
>>11635377Can't argue with that.
>>11635194for decades there was really no good merch of a lot of those horror icons. People just want a figure of them now that companies seem to care. it’s not complicated. Also Neca and other toy companies have made it pretty clear to consumers that making one-off figures with new tooling is pretty expensive. If they make a Brundlefly figure or newly sculpted figures based on different Thing forms, they can’t really retool it to make several different figures like they could with Chucky, Freddy, Jason or Myers.
>>11635408Plus figures like these actually help fund one time uses like a Brundlefly, etc.
>>11635394That'd make a good toony terror.
Hear me out: NECA Cartoon Network Flashback.>Ed, Edd, n Eddy>Cow n Chicken>Johnny Bravo>Power Puff Girls
>>11637097I would 100% buy Cow and Chicken.Wouldn't mind NECA doing Space Ghost Coast to Coast too. The old figures are still okay, but they're pricey as fuck.
>>11637097It's Courage for me.
Ross had a few NECA's, mostly random horror stuff. I wish I grabbed the Goonies one I saw at a suburban location last week but I thought it was some knock-off. Today, I saw about 10 different NECA boxes so they were clearly legit overstock.
>>11638056They make a Sloth?
>>11638172Sloth and Chunk retrocloth 2 pack. About 5 years ago.
>>11638174Oh damn, Sloth got some love and I never picked him up.
>>11637110>>11637097>no two stupid dogs
>>11637097>ed Edd n eddyAren’t some of those guys too weird to pull off in 3d form?
got here late but arrivedhope they make more of the playhouse characters as accessories, Conky, Globey, etc.don't really want more humans but would like a few more figures like Pterri.has anyone paired this with the Super 7 Conky?
>>11638306I know when they revealed this, they specifically mentioned they had the Playhouse license only. So we miiiight be getting some of the Playhouse crew. Which would rock. Conky at least, I hope.
>>11638361Thanks for the info.I'm fine with a few more. I usually check the collector's corner at Target every time I hit one of the stores large enough to have them, but I noticed this past year that some of the larger stores have been making NECA specific end caps, the Turtle's got an entire display. But I also went ahead and signed up for the email blasts from NECA to hear about what they have in development. I don't see myself buying anything else since I'm not into horror, which seems to be a lot of what I see coming out, or classic movies, but who knows.
>>11638306Hey great! Glad you got it dude.
>>11639468Yep, thanks again for the heads up.Target still has it in their warehouse for delivery, for anyone else interested. And I checked after getting today's NECA cyber Monday email and it's also available straight from them still.
>>11631588Any reason these cocksuckers didn't do Tarman and/or Trash for Return of the Living Dead's 40th anniversary this year?!?FACT!!!
>>11632238>Nothing better to do with your Saturday night than make a really lame troll post huh?And you don't?!?FACT!!!
>>11639727>>11639728Take your fucking meds.FACT!!!
