got the maisto 1/24 chevy fleetline
I don't consider myself a Camarofag, but I am very fond of the ones I do have.>>11644820How is it? Nice? I always found Maisto to be the best brand for 1/24 when I was a kid.
What are some of the best inexpensive display solutions for 1:64, especially stackable/vertical options? My collection has been growing faster than expected and I'm starting to run out of room for them hanging out loose on a shelf.
>>11644951i'm pretty satisfied with it, stance and proportion wise i prefer it over the motormax's one, and its in a pretty color as well, the interior leaves much to be desired, details are molded on but its full black, does not even have any chorme in there only a single chevy logo on the steering wheel, might respray it with a proper color someday, colored in the wheels with a sharpie i find that it looks much sharper this way, overall its quite nice captures the car quite well
>>11644951i like that trans-am camaro, wish we got a remolded mainline or an rlc version of it.That and the kyle petty grand prix
>those fuckhueg "rivets" all over the bodywhat the fuck were they thinking?is it supposed to be an armored car?
I just got a Sileighty and the axles are slightly but noticeably bent when you compare the spacing in the wheel wells on both sides. Is there any way to fix this without drilling off the rivets and disassembling the whole thing?
>>11646616you can cut the axles off by lodging a wire cutter behind the wheels and replace them with a new one, just look up those how to replace wheels without drilling diecast vids on youtube
>>11646407>Thinking they were thinking ppl
>>11646407Gaslands Edition
>>11646616There's a tool you can buy that's designed to adjust axles if you're willing to part with about $5. The makers say it's specifically for old Redlines but it should work on anything.
Finally found a HW Ferrari, precisely two days after I found a Maisto of the same model. Kinda like the HW body more but the Maisto has some great detail and functionality. Shame I dropped the fucking thing right after taking this photo and chipped the antenna
>>11649133Which one is which?>dropped...fuck...chipped the antennaJust the paint (easy to fix) or did the actual antenna break?
>>11649192Left is HW, right is Maisto. A pretty thick bit of paint chipped off when it fell on the tile, I really gotta get some carpet under my desk.

Almost grabbed this today on a random Ollie's trip, especially when I saw that it's going for $10+ online. It's a shame that it's this weird mocha color though. I'd much rather it in white.
>>11650512I also got this bad bae for less than €4
>>11649265A dab of black paint should fix that. Would have been harder with the textured roof on the other one.
>>11650512>>11651808I've heard Majorette has a kind of dismissive relationship with the US. Like we get carryover castings and old stuff and rarely get anything new while it's new.
>>11652677Sounds like they've got a lousy US distributor. It's too bad, I'd buy every one of their WRC cars.
>>11652765Found Majorette rally Ford and 2 others - Hot Wheels Honda and Realtoy Porsche Panamera. All od them cost me like 1.5 dollar for 3.
>>11653434Something about rally kitting/liveries does it for me. It can enhance even the dinkiest and most unassuming cars.
I've got a list of wanted car models for Gaslands. Are there any good STL resources for models? My brother has a printer.Outside of that where is the cheapest to get diecast online? I've got quite a collection from charity shops and hot wheels already but specific cars online cost a fortune.
Just got these based AF cars in a flea market. I already had an Atlantic but without painted headlights.
Picked these up on a trip last weekend. Was just happy to see some some decent stock that hadn't been picked clean like my local stores. >>11652519I don't have any paint supplies, so I thought about just grabbing another or salvaging the wheels for the HW. I guess having paint would be good in case it happens in the future though.
Was the Teku Deora really that hard to find/sought after back when it released? I've seen a lot of talk about how people went nuts over it and how valuable it apparently is, but it seems like it's pretty easy to get one at an okay price now.
I really appreciate Matchbox Mitsubishi 3000GT. It's a top tier cheap toycar to play around. I know about excellent Autoworld model tho.
>>11657427>excellent Autoworld modelYes, they are both very good models of this car.
>>11657509One is pre-lift and other is 1st lift. Close but nice that they do not repeat. My dad had this car and it was a fucking spaceship. Rear wheels had limited slip, in addition to standard adjustable rear wing, front lip also had active aero. In fucking 90s. Nuts.

>>11657779Taillights look meeh for what IT is supposed to be.
>>11657779I've always liked the boxy/angular shape of mid 80s cars. It gives them a particular ruggedness.
Merry Christmas
>>11657427>It's a top tier cheap toycar to play aroundHell yeah. It's not the type of car I usually collect at all, but I picked up the blue one last year just because I liked the color, and it really grew on me. It's just the perfect, archetypal 90s import coupe. So generic it may as well be in GTA, as-is.
