Lets talk about Tamagotchi Friends and other digital pets :3 uwu
Build quality of the Jade Forest seems a little better than the original three. The zoom dial doesn't feel as loose, the buttons are clickier, and it might just be me but the sound quality on the JF seems slightly better. With that said all of the new minigames are ass.
>>11643779Do we know if Jade Forest has been released in Europe? I can't find it.
>>11643803Considering how badly Bandai bungled the Paradise release in the US I'd be surprised if Jade Forest wasn't available in Europe already.
>>11643779>all of the new minigames are assMan really? That was the only reason I was thinking of getting it. If I'm gonna get another I want it to at least have different minigames or content.
>>11643679>/tfg/What happened to /4tama/?
>>11644829There are only two new games. In the Play menu, Arrow has been replaced by Matching. There are three cards on a table, tama picks one, you pick another, if they match you win. Three rounds. In the Tama Labs Minigames menu, Cleaning Dust! is replaced by Cloudy Coin Collection. In this game a Shirotama on a cloud scrolls to the left and you manage its elevation by pressing and releasing the A button to avoid birds and collect coins. The main draw of the Jade Forest device is the new characters, the content is mostly the same so far as I can tell.
Waiting on my D3 to be shipped, have been neglecting my X3 in the meantime
What Pendulum Color should I get out of the first 6?
>>11645265If you're only getting one get the biome you like the most, alternatively if you're autistic about getting the most out of the roster then get metal empire as neither Omegamon nor Chaosdramon require another specific pendulum color. Keep in mind that you will not have the bonus line as that's locked behind battling at least once with another pendulum color.
>>11645412as for what the bonus lines are>Nature Spirits: Angoramon line>Nightmare Soldiers: Loogamon line>Deep Savers: Jellymon line>Wind Guardians: Pteromon line>Metal Empire: Commandramon line that ends in Brigadramon, not Darkdramon>Virus Busters: Gammamon line
>>11645412>>11645448Hopefully I’ll be able to get them all eventually, despite how expensive that’ll be. I’ll probably get Metal Empire first then, and I’ll just chip away at getting the rest whenever I can. I already have the Shambala ones preordered too so hopefully those will work to unlock the bonuses with the old ones.
>>11645499Oh yeah those will probably work for the unlocks.
Look what I got.
>>11645499Alternatively you can spend $30ish and build yourself an ACOM. It's super easy, took me like 20 minutes to assemble one from parts and flash the firmware. That's what I did. So now if I need to battle another device I don't own, I can using codes from Humulus website. Unlocked all the various backgrounds on all three of my Color devices that way. Honestly, the thing is so nifty and cheap to just build yourself with an arduino, a bread board and some resistors and wires that it's a must have for any Digimon vpet collector. You can spend a bit more for a pre built device that's a bit cleaner and easier to physically use since many have actual prongs instead of just wires, but they're not really worth it imo. Building one is just more satisfy8ng too.
>>11644901>4U4 Ultimate?
>>11645800Also should I swap the buttons/frames of the Nature Spirits and Nightmare Soldiers to LARP as their .5 equivalents?
Managed to avoid all spoilers for Jade Forest and raised my first tama to adulthood. Of course I got Horhotchi somehow.
My sister loves Tamagotchi's for some reason. She has like three.
>>11646807Your sister sucks. I have 14.
Holy fuck, never order from Zenin TCG. I'm 3 weeks in on "preparing to ship".
>>11648804jyw is better for shipping time
>>11648804I had two separate orders for this pendulum restock, one arrived last monday and the next one the next monday.
>>11648821How does their shipping cost rate, about the same?
>>1164902940ish IIRC.
>>11649057I stand corrected, it's $29, just checked.
Wish me luck in the soldering
>>11650042
>>11650042>>11650088Soldering isn't so bad once you get the hang of it. I do it for a living.
>>11650824Hey it worked and it sounds better than before. Here's what I was raising.
>Zenin's pendulums delivered todayBased
>>11650088Im glad it worked because your picture looks like it might be shorted. Might be worth going in with an exacto and making sure those wires don't jump the gap
>>11651086Where did you see that? I looked through their twitter and didn’t see them say this.
>>11651086I meant their non shambala pendulums. They were delivered to me.
>>11650882Glad it worked out. And good choice in Digimon too. Omekamon's so underrated.
>>11643679Is the Tamagotchi Paradise worth it? It looks kind of lame compared to the previous ones
>>116488046 days later and they finally fucking shipped it. Is being slow as fuck a SEA thing?>>11652304It's a souped up Classic with some modern features and very watered down Meets/M!x mechanics. I found it very lackluster. The designs are good though.
>>11652304It encapsulates everything I hate about things today that we keep seeing over and over now in everything>take thing that was popular but downgrade everything that people liked about it>nonsensical design choices, particularly the UI>very shallow experience compared to it's predecessors>despite all this, they had the gall to include an actual credits cutsceneAnd it still sold well so don't expect anything to improve. It's still better than the Uni but that's not a very high bar. I'd say even some Nanos are better than the Uni
>>11652304I like the minigames and the tama designs but the care aspect is pretty lame. I think the only thing is has over the Pix is the battery life.
>>11652304The tamas are cute and you can put a hat on the planet
Thoughts on pendulum colors?
>>11652980THEY'RE IN COLOR NOW?!?!
>>11652980Love em. Probably my favorite overall device. I only have Nature Spirits and Virus Busters though, as those had the two most appealing rosters to me. I would love to have purchased all of them, but they're just too expensive, so I only got the ones with the rosters I liked most. I also have a ver1 DMC, a bunch of DMX's, a DM20, and the Mon Hun DMC. Kinda regretting skipping the Godzilla DMC, but I am totally grabbing the Godzilla PenC. Can't wait to see more info on that.
Who is your Tama waif?
What do you use to polish your vpets when they get scratches?
>>11652304Just bought one and so far my biggest take away is that the cell Tama with the eyelashes is kinda hot
Based JYW shipping quickly.
>>11655866What's the name of these?
>>11652980How do you deal with worrying about keeping all those batteries charged and healthy? >>11653002Can't believe there is already going to be a godzilla penC. They only announced 2 new monsters or something and thats not enough for me to shell out more cash after getting both of the colors. Wish they would have waited till 75th anniversary or something and added more monsters. Will probably skip it unless I really like the art on the shell.
>>11656256Digimon Pendulum Color version 6 and 7
>>11654828For me, it's Yumemitchi.I'm getting either the DM20 or DMX tomorrow morning, and it'll be my first Vpet in a while. I also recently picked up a red Catcha Beast/Treasure Gaust, if anyone even remembers that existed.
Shoutout to Zenin for my first ever Pendulum Color, the Nightmare Soldiers!Waited EIGHT MONTHS for it to arrive after preorder, and when it arrived the other day it turns out the battery is faulty and barely lasts 12 hours!Really cool, zenin! Thanks!! :)
>>11658189Well what are they supposed to do about the battery? It’s not like they manufactured it.
>>11658189So what you're saying is that I SHOULDNT pre order the Digimon Xros from there
>>11658189What >>11658377 said. This isn't really Zenin's fault since they're just a retailer. Hopefully though they'll let you do an exchange or something. I've never gotten a defective item from them so I don't know their policy.
>>11658189Also, if they won't replace it, I've seen tutorials on YouTube on how to swap out the lithium battery on the Color devices. Isn't really that hard.
