Gundam Universe Sinanju looks pretty cool. This line is somehow still alive, I hope the next wave include the Zeta, ZZ or F91.
>>
Is the metal build barbatos retail or p-bandai ?

I really, really, really like Gundam Universe
>>

p bandai for japan, retail for us
>>
>>11644165
for about $20 this is nice. Is Sinanju also using the same frame as other renewal?
>>
>>11644417
I'm finding them much more tempting than regular RD releases now.

/a/g/ tourist here. Where can i find figures like pic rel? Like they are mechs but not like Gundam or Code Geass ones. More like Titanfall or BLAME kind of robots, military oriented but blocky, idk how to call them. Thanks in advance
>>
>>11644643
That's a model kit. Try the model kit thread.
>>
>>11644441
That explains why I didn't see it on the usual nip shops then. Why do retail in one region and p-bandai in another for the same item anyway ?
>>
>>11645025
IBO is pretty popular in the US, they must think it will sell much better here
they did the same thing with the god gundam

JoyToy makes a bunch of figures along the lines you’re looking for, heard good things but don’t have any personal experience.
>>
>>11645086
Based on what I heard the joints are awful for the earlier figures, doesn't later products
>>
>>11644417
Turn A is my favourite Gubdam series but zi was a dumbass and didn't collect any of the Robot Spirits back in the day or anything else but some gunpla. That display is awesome. When did they make that hover ship thing?

Can confirm. From the god of war mechs on it's good. I have two of those, one from before (pic related) and the big 1/18 one with a metal frame. The old ones have ratcheted joints and no additionnal hands, just one pair of hands with articulated fingers and no part to properly hold weapons. I think older ones are worth it only if you can find them at a cheap price, which won't happen nowadays unless you're buying second hand from someone who has no clue

>>
>>11645947
I miss MSIA so much.
They would make figures of fucking anything.
>>
>>11646153
Same. Some of those old MSIA toys are still damn good even by today's standards. Like the Gouf Custom, that is a solid action figure. Nothing falls off, the plastic is strong, it has good range of motion. It was one of my all time favorites as a kid.

With the Ver ANIME line now seemingly dead in the water, makes me curious what might replace it.
>>
>>11645947
I have a new holy grail thanks.

>>11646153
I love all the G Gundam stuff. I still have the Grizzly Gundam and Zeus Gundam somewhere.
>>
>>11646177
You can blame the absurd prices. No idea where they pulled the price tag for the HS or Asshimar.
>>
anyone here has the Ghost Gundam? I just read the manga in one sitting and I kinda dig it
>>
>>11646887
Which one?
>>
>>11646946
Either the green or the silver one
>>
>>11646980
I mean which line? RD? Metal Build? By green one you probably mean RD. It's a bit finicky because of the transformation, but otherwise it's not bad. There's like 3 different versions of it however.
>>
>>11647033
RD
the one with the fuckton of flaming effect parts
>>
>>11645947
Fuck it's so expensive now even on old Japanese listings. I'll just save my money for metal robot Turn A stuff. Bandai will do that eventually right?
>>
>>11647256
I have ghost gundam, it is alright and does whatever you need it to do but ill never fucking use the transformation gimmick. If you insist on getting it, get the latest phantom gundam repair one as it comes with the most accessories
>>
Metal build Nirvash redesign sucks, but I'm still buying it. We will never get another option. I'm sorry for being part of the problem.

Realizing this, I've now become somewhat un-hyped for the possibility of a Ver ANIME MP Guncannon. I figured that might be next in the line up considering Bandai backtracked and released all the other missing MS.

But the MP Guncannon is only ever shown using one machine gun. No shield no beam saber, no bazooka. If it does get made. It will only come with like a few sets of hands, one machine gun, firing effects pieces, and that's it. But I'll still cost 80-100 dollars I bet.
>>
i think im just moving over to gunpla at this point
A.N.I.M.E. isn't getting much, the other lines are expensive, lmao metal build/robo-dou
>>
>>11648040
Robo-dou is a fucking bargain compared to ANIME at this point.

I feel like I got monkey pawed so badly.

The Nirvash is one of my favorite designs, and I've always wanted a MB, MRD or Ver ANIME of it.

But the MB design is so bad. The whole appeal of the Nirvash is how it's this athletic and nimble mech that can move around like an acrobat. Meanwhile the MB design looks like a chunky tank.
>>
I think I'm going to end up buying the MB X-3, it is my favorite crossbone but the fact it includes a chunk of plastic to recreater a scene instead of the effect parts for the I-Fields (which they gave to the fucking patch release) really annoys me
>>
Does anyone here have the MB Hi-Nu with the Hyper Mega Bazooka Launcher set? I absolutely do not fuck with the Hi-Nu's design but I want to get the big ass gun to display with my other MBs. Is it possible to have other MBs grip the handles or is it just designed for the Hi-Nu's grippy hands?

Has anyone who owns the HAL from the Armored Core line had any issues with the thumbs when holding the rifle? I've heard that over time the thumbs can bend and break from the weight.

Are there any clear stands that work well with Metal builds?
>>
>>11655903
I wouldnt trust any clear plastic stands with metal builds considering how big and heavy they are. Hell I cant even trust the clear connection pieces that comes with my metal builds in general.
>>
>>11655903
maybe a caliber wings stand could hold one up, but the adapter wouldn't fit
>>
>>11655261
I would not be surprised if that’s the case, but the instructions do explicitly say that you should use a stand arm to support the weight of the rifle, it’s pretty fucking big relative to the figure and physics are gonna physics.

>>

Yes almost immediately, I assumed I ham hands it but if its a common issue I guess I can be glad it wasn't me. For now I have a stand under the gun supporting it, I'm honestly afraid to take the gun out of the hand out of fear I'll rip the thumb off with it.

if the price drops on amazon after you buy an item can you cancel the order before the item ships and buy it again at the lower price?

Might be the wrong thread to ask, but are there any modern lines like the Armor Girls Project? I like some of the designs from that line, but the figures are pretty old.
>>
>>11662802
There are some mech girl figures, but the majority of it lies in model kits. Kotobukiya does a lot, chinese companies too. Ask on either /gpg/ they'll give you names, I can't remember them
