>>11645234I always thought these were weird considering Bandai had already made some Saiyan figures that could interchange the heads with SSJ heads that made the figure look normal with either form, years before Irwin made these. I did have the Boo one, I think there was a Cell one too.
Oh yeah, I had one of those except it was Gohan. The weird rubber condom suit tore really easily, especially around the shoulders and the back of the neck where the hole was, and it was a pain in the ass to get the figure in and out of it without feeling like you were going to break something.
>>11645954Logically I think the head swap would work better for the saiyans but the probably wanted to include villains too. It probably would've worked better if the outer transformation was a hard plastic shell. Maybe even have a pop off mechanism to make it feel like it's transforming.
