I know there is some contention about Hildr. Allow me to weigh in. I think shes pretty neat. Her face does seem to photograph bad but in person it marches the figure and is not off putting. I have almost all the xesray females (goddam missed black armor bernice) and I like them for what they are. I dont think they make great cast off figures, some do and more power to them. But as warrior women is like them. I have plenty of nude female figures having warrior women appeal to another side that isn't necessary about lewdness. I especially like Hildr because she is a barbarian woman and there aren't too many figures of that. I think she fits in great next to my frazetta girls Conan and that's where she'll be fully armored looking like a badass. As I mentioned, her shorts are actually sewn directly onto her skirt, which causes problems with removal - the skirt can't be pulled down past her ass because it's cinched at the waist, but it can't be pulled up off the torso because her groin prevents the shorts from moving up. Can't pull it through the pant legs, either, because those are almost exactly as wide as her individual thighs - too small to fit her body through. I suspect the skirt and shorts were added on individually then stitched together after they were already on her, because I can see no possible way for how they would have gone on otherwise (or how they can come OFF otherwise). Got Anneliese today. She is cute but desu I might have Snail Shell fatigue. It almost feels like the same figure every time with long legs and short arms. They don't really seem to innovate with their engineering. I think I am only going to get the RPG figures going forward as I think their designs are the coolest and a little more varied.Couple other complaints I have is some of the parts at the top of the robot arms where the phone and grenade storage is feel very fragile like the phone wire I can see myself breaking. Which is a shame because the design makes you want to play with all those accessories.Also the color of the hands doesn't match the rest of her skin. Which is pretty minor but I also feel like the grip hand for the rifle is a little loose. The belt is loose too. And I've never had this issue with Snail Shell before but the tolerances with the eyes and screwdriver thing are bad and the screwdriver sticks to them making it a bit hard to maintain a position if that makes sense. And lastly I wish there was a peg hole in the robot arm core for the stand. I hate using the claw.
I think I tend to focus on the negatives when I make comments on figures. I can't really help it. I don't dislike her at all, I think she's nice. But there's not much praise I can think of which maybe brings me back to the snail shell fatigue. Them being OCs that I don't have a particular attachment to could also be a factor. I think of the ones I have Modernia is my favorite who also happens to be the only one that's an actual character
