Ehh... I can mention lots of non combatant characters that got an action figure(figma school girls like Idolmaster, Love Live, etc) but first one that comes to my mind that was recently released is SHF Lacus Pilot suit, you can argue that she fight alongside with Kira inside the Mighty Strike Freedom in the movie but she technically only piloted the Proud Defender to deliver it to Kira, same way she delivered to Athrun the Infinite Justice in Destiny, I think the criteria is that if Bandai knows it will sell they will make said character into a figure, who are they to refuse money?

I used to be a big fan of Code Geass, still a fan but not like what it used to be, my first figma was figma Lelouch, also bought Suzaku hoping they would release the girls, maybe Bandai did something to block GSC/MaxFactory from making more figma years ago

There's the thing with Bandai. If it's male-orientied franshise aka shonen they usually don't bother with girls at all.

Just got my Rei in, she is mind-bogglingly bad at almost every turn. Her entire body is molded in soft plastic which means that the paint apps are all slightly sloppy (think the old Rebuild Eva revoltechs). Her articulation is over designed so all the joints are either very gappy, segmented or flimsy. Lastly all but one of my face plates had misaligned prints on the eyes. If you're still missing a Rei in your collection, just save up the cash and get the old figma.

Depends, mostly they don’t seem to do replacements or parts for QC issues, especially with stuff sold through their own approved vendors, whilst GSC are still (usually) pretty good about it. Mine doesn't fall apart. It's fine, nothing out of the ordinary that I noticed, I would've mentioned it here when I first got it. I had more issues with the figma falling apart honestly, it wasn't bad but the arms on mine would pop out the ball joint at the shoulder pretty easily, I almost lost one of the little black covers that help hide the shoulder joints that way, I was super lucky and I found it though. Had a similar issue with the tiny cards he came with too, they were very easily carpet food, I was also lucky in the fact I was able to recover them whenever they dropped. The SHF having them just attached to the hands is so much better. The SHF is just better overall, you don't need a stand to use the cape, the duel disk is better on the SHF since you can have it in either mode, and the aforementioned pre-attached cards. Only thing the figma has going for it that's better imo, is the Millennium Puzzle being on a longer chain. The SHF Puzzle itself though looks better imo.

To be fair to the figma though, you can actually say that it looks closer to how he was drawn during Battle City, whereas the SHF, at least to me, looks more like he did during the Waking the Dragons arc with Dartz and Atlantis.

I think you may have a good chance if you did it through official sites like say AmiAmi or HLJ. Once I bought Kamen Rider Vice and his right leg was missing the front armor completely. I contacted AmiAmi about it and they very quickly ordered a replacement for me. They sent me the entire leg with the front armor so I just removed Vice's right leg and replaced it with the new one and it's good as new. I'm not sure if the same can be said if you try to contact Bandai directly though.

I got a gap of not buying Revos for 10 years, but my main issues with those back then were paint/coating and joint related.

There is a reason they never even finished the full team of the Eternals. They are probably hesitant to do things as the movies release because most of the movies have been shit since Endgame. They have played it safe with surefire sellers like Spiderman, Deadpool and Wolvie.

They've been a lot more judicious for MCU stuff since most of the recent movie and D+ releases shelfwarmed pretty hard. But to be fair they picked shit projects like Eternals and Falcon which anyone could have seen not performing well from miles away. Which is unfortunate because by the time Daredevil and Punisher came around they had cold feet. I can definitely see them making product for the new Spider-Man movie though.

Is it weirdly popular in Japan or something? It seems such a strange project to pick for SHF when it’s a movie that screams ‘fashion dolls’. I bought a set of cheap knockoff Tamashii stands (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SMMHB7Z) for figures that came 8 for 17$, but they kinda suck at supporting the weight of things and are also very finnicky to put together and to re-angle

Should I just get the official stands even if it's 2 stands for the same price, or are there good quality ones that are cheaper?

The officials are obviously much much better and higher quality but those cheap chinese ones you posted get the job done just fine. I bought some of them just because I have lots of SHF I want to display floating, and those are fine for that. If you change poses alot and take pictures and stuff, then I'd say get the official ones.

It annoys me how they never make closed mouth/neutral faces for OP. I think only Zoro has a neutral face, not even Luffy with his gorrilion dlcs has one. And the characters didn't make that many funny faces in Romance Dawn.

desu I'm not really that excited for him or Sanji. I guess I’ll get them to complete the crew but I kinda don't care about One Piece anymore. I haven't watched it in months since I reached the time skip and stopped to watch other stuff. Maybe Croc and Hancock will be a little more interesting but they will probably be very overpriced.

OP past timeskip feels kind of like I only now read it because I have since I was a teenager, I’ve never felt the peak highs of W7/Enies or Impel Down/Marineford since. So I’m getting as many of the pre TS gang as they make because I still fucking love and reread/watch that era of OP.
