Do you have figurines that you buy because you're a fan of Fomo or "for the future, in case I can't afford it later?"And every now and then, you remember that you have this toy, and it makes you feel better? For me it's some Lego and Sonic figures. - Sonic figures distribution is so bad that every non-standart character has a diamond rarity and skyrockets in price. I saw picrelated toy only once in my life and i knew for sure i won't open it because it's a true treasure to me (my fav game after Sonic3 is Sonic Heroes that has this toy as a main villain).- Lego - i just don't have that much space but i for sure know that it's better to have this set now than try to buy it later with it not being just expensive but having an expensive 20-30-40 eur shipping as well.Do you have such examples? Please tell! (i will show more of my stuff later in this thread)
>>11647439(cont)This Lego Junkrat and Roadhog is such a cool set but it's overpriced at this point.I mained these two heroes back then and i treasure this set.At first i bought it because i didnt know where to put it and it was on sale. Now when it costs so much - it makes me feel good to own it in mint shape and new in the box that was never opened.I still want the figures and want to buy them separated but 1 figure costs as this whole box i paid for back then.Owning it just makes me feel good.
>>11647439No, it hasn't gotten THAT bad yet. I've got a bunch of figures I haven't even opened yet, but I'm aware of what they all are. If I start forgetting what I've got, it's time to downsize.
>>11647499>No, it hasn't gotten THAT bad yet.How long have you been collecting?Do you live alone or with parents?I live alone and i started collecting toys in 2010. At this point my collection is naturally huge. It's easy to forget stuff.
>>1164750016 years(Though I have some Digimon, Dragon Ball, and Yu Yu Hakusho figures as old as early 2000's)AloneI've got around 400 figures, though that's with selling some over the years
>>11647512i would never sell anything i bought. Why would i buy a toy if i'm ok with not owning it.I smell bs.
>>11647514Better toys of the same character, enthusiasm for a franchise/series lost, just needing room and prioritizing the figure you like better, moving, etc. Tons of reasons to sell. If you've been collecting 15 years and never sold anything, I'm beginning to see why you can't keep track of everything.
>>11647439He jobbed to Bowser so 0/10
>>11647517every toy is important to me.The whole concept of selling stuff i actually wanted to buy is alien to me.>b-buti don't care i like toys
>>11647520>He jobbed to BowserNeo Metal Sonic jobbed to Bowser?wh..what...when??!?!?
>>11647529>every toy is important to me.Apparently not when you're forgetting you've even bought them after a few years. But, whatever, dude. Not trying to deal with your weird defensiveness or derail your thread.
>>11647439yes tito, we know you found a metal sonic at a store today.
>>11647631Hit a nerve huhdon't worry you can still buy it for 100+ bucks + shipping
>Prime has poopy-okay tier 5">DC and Movie 3 get the best 5">Only 'standard' 5" are 'collectors' and the '4" ' figures of big characters.Fucking fuckers... give this shit to Jada NOW>Contract pushes till 2027FUCK
