What do we think about no labubu pop mart's stuff?
>>11648992Diversifying the catalog isn't a bad idea. The labubu fad will pass, and when it does Pop Mart has a bunch of other stuff to fall back on.
>>11648992Peach riot is cute but it's getting more expensive everyday just like any other pop mart line Blokees seems to be copying their style with the Sanrio and PPG lines except much cheaper and being actual toys
>>11649118Do you work for Blokees? They're always being promoted here.
>>11649118Goddamn that's a good bellybutton.
>>11649145Does it upsets you that I mentioned blokees? They are both chinese, they both do blind boxes, it's not out of place in the thread
>>11648992>artsy blindbox statueshit
The nyota and peach riot series look cool Will get one of each to see if they worth the price
>>11649431Reminds me of the old Kinder Surprise collectibles
>>11648992waaaaaayyyyyy too expensive for "blind box"if I could spend $20 to for-sure get this Bo-Katan, I might. it's both adorable and awesome. but there's no way I'm dropping $20 a pop on random chances. that would add up QUICK into insanity.oddly enough, I'm more at peace with the "art" ones where they are all unique characters. getting a random one of those doesn't bother me as much, but they're still kinda expensive
>>11648992I think blindboxes and gacha machines are abominations that should never have taken off
>>11649118waht figure is that in the pic? looks a lot like Scott Pilgrim.
I really like these guys but they don't make them anymore. They're called Magical Natural by Flabjacks.
>>11649952Peach Riot Mechanic Frankie
>>11649691Anon, you literally can. Check aliexpress, they sell a lot of pre-opened blind box figures in under 20$ from this line.
>>11650153>Check aliexpress, they sell a lot of pre-opened blind box figures in under 20$ from this line.I was excited for a half-minute until I checked. price must vary based on which figure. looks like I'm not the only one who likes this cutie pie.I can't complain since it's way better than buying them randomly at $20 a pop, but $50+ is way over my price tolerance even if it's the exact figure I want.thanks anyway for the advice.
>>11650149TY!
>>11649952Yeah the artist pretty much ripped off Bryan O malley's character design and even the whole "local garage band scene" style but for girls. I'm not complaining since I always loved SP girls tho
>>11650336A Chinese brand ripping something off!? Ya don't say!
>>11650417the artist is American, they moved to China because that's where all the toys are made and it's not worth any effort to try in her homeland
>>11650417The artist is a blonde 20 something american girl tho
Guys these are honestly just pretty as fuck. They're cookin' since the labubu craze gave them a bump.
>>11650417>>11650336Libby Frame is the whitest artist in the lot.
blind box slop
>>11650446>moving to China for toysNow that's some dedication.

Low level gambling for zoomers. This board is full of millennials so you guys don't understand. I have lots of Zoomer subordinates, and they're constantly gambling. Sports betting is standard, but things like gacha, Pokemon boosters and blind boxes activates their neuron. The point is not getting the rare card or box, it's the rush in opening it. I bought one of them a card he wanted off eBay for a job well done, and he looked bummed out. Later his Zoomer colleagues told me I just killed his vibe for opening boosters. It's very retarded.
>>11652941Millennial here. these hit the vibes old 80/90s toys had. Great colors, plush bodies, ugly cute faces. Gambling is a thing all humans deal with in their own right. I don't think I'v seen people who like Labubus if they're under 30.
American zoomies will never know this feel
>>11653456Labubu is just monchichi but less cute.
>>11652941>Sports betting is standard, but things like gacha, Pokemon boosters and blind boxes activates their neuron. Yeah us millenials NEVER did this. We never bought Pokemon cards like maniacs. Espscially not in 1997. And we definitively didn't crash the comic book market at one point due to speculative reselling scalping retards.
>>11654222Don't know what kind of ASSfaggotey you've been huffing, but Labubu are ledoodoo
apparently if I buy something today will get this collection for free.Do you think there will be better shit upcoming days or this will be the peak?
>>11648992Why are Western girls toys so fucking ugly and uncute compared to Eastern? Not even saying this as a weeb, just everything about Western toys is so unappealing for some reason…
>>11654261Beauty has been marginalized while the ugliness reigns supreme in the mainstream of madness, because the Jews want to make the world according to their own image.
>>11654261Because jews or something
>>11654222T. Brainlets.Difference is millennials would be jumping for joy if you bought them a Charizard card. Zoomers would be bummed out, they'd rather buy $300k of blind packs to gamble. Also, comic books were not blind packed. You knew exactly what holo foil ultra limited 3d effect X force where everyone had at least 50 mini pockets that you were buying.
>>11654261Jews
>>11654261Eastern toys are more intricate because they live in apartments, no space, even then, needs to look nice, because everyone shares the space. They also buy fewer toys, so can spend more.Older western toys were extremely well made and looked really good, especially considering the technology at that time. Even up to early 2000s, you had amazing western toys, mask, transformers, tmnt, Dino riders.
