Bandai will never stop milking Adventure so even if they never rerelease that one another "new and improved" version will probably be released for the 30th anniversary.

I already own that one and the D3, so I'm more interested to see if they make a D-Ark next.

If you want to try a Vpet literally, there is some dude who made a Vpet emulator you can download for free for both PC and phone. They're better than the real thing since they can send you notifications when your Digimon requires attention. The problem is that only the original model is available right now. The premium model isn't ready yet.
