I picked this dude up today. It's Edgar Friendly (Dennis Leary's character) from the Demolition Man tie-in toyline, which is almost all repaints of NA figures with new heads. I was thinking even if I don't want him for my Demolition Man display, he works as a good generic background character for a New Adventures shelf. And it's not like he would stand out from having Dennis Leary, figure looks more like Charles Napier.

So... am I the only one here who really doesn't care all that much for the old cartoon or the franchise, but ends up buying TONS of these newer ones because Mattel made the BRILLIANT idea to have them able to be easily swapped? I haven't had this much fun since Microman/Micronauts. I buy MULTIPLES of the same figures at times, just to make customs be more symmetrical. I even buy from their WWE lines for parts from THERE to swap into them. (The lack of modularity Hasbro does now, what with flat-headed rivets have made modern Transformers NO fun for me to buy).

It was a bunch of common figs but none of the 4 most hated. 3 Rise of Evil sets, a Panthor, a Battle Cat, a Ram Man, a set of the Flying Fist/Terror Claws. I took it out to my truck and brought him back the empty tote. I use them for parts for customs but sadly there’s that handful of figs I missed that are still pricey.

I like Mighty Spector's design more than Axelshitslop. Both give me that feeling of envy that if I were in charge I would make better OCs. But at least there was only one Mighty Spector. The feeling of missed opportunity for Preternia characters is just massive compared to whatever the fuck I felt at Mighty Spector.
