Removable, technically, but for this commander-type helmet the head is slightly smaller and the helmet fits pretty tightly, which makes it look and feel much closer to a non-removable helmet. And yeah, we desperately need better droids, I like the old BX figure a lot but b1s and B2s really need completely new figures.

Black Series is the 6" scale line. Then there's TVC which is the 3.75" line that has been the main scale for almost all of Star Wars toys history. If you're just in it for the figures themselves, then BS might be the way to go for you. If you're more interested in making big battle displays and getting vehicles and all that, TVC is the line best suited there.

They only do realistic designs, even if it’s from an animated show so no they’ve never done TCW style figures in 6 inch but have done TCW characters. But desu anon do you need to ask us if every figure is “worth it”? Why not just look for characters you like and find what is available for a price you are willing to pay. There's been a fair amount of fun designs in between all the shit of disney- lots of good stuff in some of the TV shows and solo- and basically none of it has made it to toy form.
Even Mandalorian, which was literally Disney and Star wars savior, and had some decent designs, took like 4-5 years to get a decent number of toys out and almost entirely from just the first season and a couple from later. Where's a goddamn frog lady?

In actuality, it would cost Hasbro a ton of money. There's probably not even a thousand people in that country that bought one. Factories charge by volume and time so the less units you make, the more expensive they cost. After that they then have to pay tariffs and shipping to Mexico. The bean counters probably ruled out that it simply doesn't make financial sense to do this for a small number of people. Should they do it though? Absolutely, because it would keep those people in good graces who now more than likely are never going to back another HasLab ever again and are out of something they paid for already. Need some help to figure out how to get about 4-8 space/alien/army soldier-ish robots that LOOK similar to this K2-S0 (in other words, pretty generic) that would not cost me more than $10 each, since it's not like I'm particularly attached to Andor or Rouge One, or to any particular story.

I was looking for other toys at Ross, and had to move this guy to reach for a ReAction on a peg and bought him because the box was damaged and it was only $5.99, most of the other Black Series at Ross was $7.99. I spent all of December looking for more at many stores and found many Black Series figures but never another one of thse.

I did grab one on sale, plus a coupon, for $12 but I don't think I'll find more at anything other than $20 which is just not what I am going to pay for crowd scene fodder.

I wouldn't mind at least two more KS-20's but for like $20 total, not $25 each, especially if I need to pay postage and taxes on say eBay or Mercari to save a few bucks.

I really don't want to use those "needle nose" Battle droids from the SW animated series or movies because those are so obviously and clearly Star Wars. And this is not for anything related to the franchise.

These are just to use as generic background crowd fodder in toy photography, I'm never going to be displaying them on the regular for that matter.

And I'm not spending money just to store plastic. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Not yet. The only real clue we have is when Emily confirmed that they are all new debuts. Mr. Stevie is actually holding a contest right now to see if people can guess before they reveal it and he said "no cigars yet"a day or so ago, so nobody has made the right guess yet as far as I know. Theoretically there's someone out there who'd want to make a big jedi survivor display with Cal fighting all those droids, but yeah it's of course much more likely they're getting customized into PT versions. At that price it's not a horrible idea if you're capable of repainting them well, I would've done it with the TVC raider AT-STs if they'd been a better deal, but at $50 I could just get the nice-looking hoth ones used off ebay with a little patience and not have to paint anything. There was easily over a hundred of the AT-STs at the rosses in my area, and they definitely didn't sell through, so I'm crossing my fingers they'll hit a bigger discount later, assuming they don't go directly to a landfill after failing to sell at ross during the holidays.
