Very cool that we've got a Project Hail Mary set coming. It's 100% going to be movie of the year so it makes sense it'd get a LEGO set. I wonder whether the ship will look more like the book version or the film version because the two look quite different. Not really sure how they reconcile the differences in the movie since the ship is supposed to be able to reconfigure to generate spin-gravity and the film version looks way more elaborate than the book version.

One bag down, 5 more to go. Making the base is always the most boring part, and this one had elaborate framing in the ground to run wires. This is Insoon brand, and their lighting tracks are not as good compare to Funwhole/Lumibricks, but I really like the overall design. It will be lots of fun to play with once completed. A bit too large to properly go with classic Western Lego, but fits better with it than Lumibricks' Western Saloon.

The market where I would find most of my Lego and other bricks has been shut down. Looks like they may be starting some kind of construction project there. I’m sure a new one will eventually pop up somewhere else but this is kind of disappointing for me. Local trash bins are still available but the best finds were always at the gypsies market. I’m going to have to up my scavenging game in the coming year. More bad news is that Serbia has been dumped from bricklink. Serbia was the best neighboring country to buy used from since our postal services didn’t fuck with each other. I hope my favorite stores use brick owl as well.
