Picked up the Brave Bike and really like it. Fully compatible with the Sisters line too. The upcoming Wild Bike version looks really nice too.
>>11655100Much more interested in the Wild Bike, personally, but that one is a nice alternative to that ridiculously expensive Koto bike.I’m just waiting on the 30MF Dragon Knight and those Skellies to release, but my modular robot buying has tapered off quite a bit. Helps that MoRise (formally No.57) has pretty much slowed to a crawl, and that Koto’s Hexa Gear stuff is just getting a bit too expensive to army-build.
Runamuck or Runabout whatever's too small for mannauts, but just right for femnauts. A little silly that she can't grab the steering wheel though.
I guess you can mount weapons on these blokees cars using magnets, it's just hard to find weapons that are small enough

>>11656479Blokees. They have new mini-car line. Their Hound works with great with Diaclone.
>>11655100is bandai making a real bike now or is that a kitbash with those 1/2 bikes?
>>11656609Actual bike, thank god. No more buying 2 sets to make a bike because the stupid thing only has one wheel

>>11658738Yeah, the silhouette of this made it seem like it was going to be a bit bigger. Both of these are a bit underwhelming, but that’s a bit of a relief.
>>11658478Its not bad looking but I really don't understand the idea of making new OC donuts for a 40 year old niche franchise, are they trying to relaunch it or something?
>>11658476I really hope they are building up to a redux of Cosmo Battles
>>11653586Are these Toyrise ATs different in any way from the previous Actic Gear line? They look exactly the same.
>>11659047The Toyrise line seems to be about cramming-in play value. The original Legioss variants differing only by their heads and guns probably weren't enough and a waste of all those hardpoints they added.>>11659084That's the big complaint with the Toyrise ATs, they aren't toyetic and modular enough for the toyrise label, too similar to Actic Gear.
>>11659226>That's the big complaint with the Toyrise ATs, they aren't toyetic and modular enough for the toyrise label, too similar to Actic Gear. They literally look exactly the same as Actic Gears. Like, exactly the same design/sculpt/molds. Am I crazy?
>>11659240You can look at Wotafa's review, he did a comparison. Looks close but not 1:1
>>11653586dunno if this is the right thread but where do you anons suggest I should hunt for good deals on Shinkalion as a burger? they seem like really cute little combiners but for what you're actually getting the prices are fucking ridiculous

I found the RSC review but he didn't compare it to the Actic Gear RSC, he compared it to the Actic Gear Next Burglarydog which is significantly different from the regular Actic Gear Scopedog. However, I noticed that the lower torso hatch of the Toyrise opens, which Actic Gear doesn't do.

Toyrise Exkaiser isn't as out of scale with THE GATTAI as I fearedMaybe he is in that his proportions are a lot more buff, way wider chest and broader shouldersBut the height is close enough

Alright /mrg/, I hate to be that guy, but I stumbled across pic related and despite my best efforts, couldn't find the information I was looking for. The bots themselves I figured out, they're Hobby No57 Armored Puppet Mr.J, and they're cool and all, but I'm more interested in the ship parts they're standing on. What are those parts called and can they, if I buy enough of them, make an actual little ship for these guys to pilot? I don't have any of the figures from this line, but if there's potential to make an actual ship and a crew to go with it, well I seem to have developed an irrational need to collect various Pirate Ships and Crews so I would very much go broke making this a thing. Any info on those base parts and the actual limits to their customization potential would be very helpful.
>>11664509Many of the other No.57 sets came with these modular base pieces, and were one of the selling points. In order to make a ship, you’d have to buy the Mista J set in multiples, as it only comes with essentially a quarter of a hull. If you wanted to build, say, a captains quarters on the deck, you’d probably need to get some other sets. None of them had working doors, but some game with gates or windows that could be opened/interchanged.In short, these baseplates are the essence of modularity, allowing for lots of cool buildings. It’s a shame they’ve done away with them in later releases.
>>11664553Thanks for the info, when looking up stuff on the figures I didn't see mention of any of the boat parts but that makes a lot of sense now. Guess I'll be doing more research and getting at least 2-4 of those pirate sets.
>>11664509>>11664605Yeah basically what you see in that picture is what you can make with one set, I have exactly that on my desk.
>>11664605Some ship builds herehttps://tieba.baidu.com/p/8875769389https://tieba.baidu.com/p/7666275653Many use base parts from other sets
>>11664664>>11664667Welp, now I have a new obsession. Thanks a lot anons, my wallet is crying in the corner.
Yea, just grabbed two sets of pirates and one of the maid robot sets cause she was cheap. Any way to tell what build parts come with what bots? Buying these guys off amazon right now and they don't really show the base options.
>>11664976I have a lot of the different sets so I can help you out a bit.The girls are a great choice- they come with gate and railing pieces that can be useful for fencing/half wall setups. Here’s what I can remember off the top of my head:Armor Frame (blank body): arguably the best for base building, also insanely hard to find these days. Comes with two walls and floor pieces, one being the ninja wall, the other being Construction 2 wall with the vents.Construction 1 (forklift): basic wall/ground, added bonus being free-standing fence and cylindrical storage containers.Construction 2 (mechanic): basic floor with nice grid pattern, comes with a wall with fan vent.Ninjas: pretty basic detailed wall and hexagonal floor.Soldiers: wall and floor are varied, but have weapon storage functions (for included weapons only, not other weapons from other sets)Shark Robot: Comes with a neat half cylinder canopy piece, great for curved roofs. Also comes with wall that has a manhole cover. Those are all the ones I can recall at the moment. Sorry if that isn’t particularly helpful.
>>11664976I haven't checked all the listings, but in general Showzstore has a ton of pics with every listing, so for most there should be pictures of the extra partshttps://showzstore.com/c/no57_0780
>>11665184>>11665239That's all fantastic info, thank you guys very much. Kind of sad it feels like I'm late to the game on these guys, but it's super helpful to know what to look for. And looking at that one video review, it seems I'll need at least two more sets of pirates to make a decent boat. Shame they don't sell the display pieces on their own, those parts would probably sell better then the bots themselves.
>>11665286See if you can find the two blank core body sets. They come with 2 bodies each and more importantly the base parts from their first 4 releases. There's also a "Hibernation pod" set that uses the same base system.
>>11664920relatable, bro. I've spent probably about $200+ on modular hangar panel sets, and I still dont even have a shelf to display everything yet
>>11665457I'll try and look em up, sadly the few places I found em seem long sold out. >>11665628I'm close to that already and this was all essentially impulse buys. I was originally trying to save my toy budget for some other upcoming stuff I've been waiting on for months. But apparently boat = buy to my brain now. And no, I don't have the space for this stuff either. If they weren't 1:24 I probably would've skipped it entirely.
any guesses/thoughts as to why beastbox seems to have entirely eschewed dinosaurs since picrel nearly three years ago? the dinosaur molds were basically all i bought lol
>>11666458Next 7cm is a dino, but
Going off of the previous sentiments in this thread >>11664667 has completely ruined my life. I have never seen such in depth creativity and customization for my beloved Armored Puppets until I started scrolling through Baidu. The Chinese know what's up when it comes to these guys. But I cannot decipher these moon runes. Can anyone lend some insight on how to best paint the Armored Puppets? Also according to my google translate skills this armor set is goddamn 3D Printed??! I had no idea how much I didn't know. V - Thor is my favorite Hexa-gear kit and I currently have an Armored Puppet piloting him. To see that someone 3D printed an armor set based off of him is blowing my mind. I'm sorry if I'm rambling, but I am completely overwhelmed by what I'm seeing. Anyone know where to get the STL files? This is what will push me over the edge into learning 3D printing I swear.https://tieba.baidu.com/p/9029785223#
>>11667186That custom uses a core body from Warrior Workshop's 1/30 series (so smaller than no57)https://weibo.com/1191278147/OEgVIFoHEOnly prints are for sale, not the files. You had to buy the prints off Xianyu 闲鱼 from 龙弦726. Xianyu requires an agent to order, pay and ship overseas.

https://weibo.com/6174747854/QlSkZqgIWDMH is back making Diaclone KOs.
>>11667411I think I saw those exact bots posted on TEMU, scam or copy?
>>11667720Probably not a scam. There's usually a lot of resellers on 2ndary retailer sites like amazon/ebay/temu/etc. There are so many people who have problems trying to use chinese websites, so some people will step in and fill that gap by drop shipping a case of product. The main thing you need to worry about is recognizing the difference between 2ndary retailers and straight up scalpers. a good 2ndary price is usually just the MSRP + shipping to the seller+shipping from seller to you + a couple extra bucks for their effort. If you see people trying to sell shit for 2x the MSRP, thats a scalper

>>11668341This is a fun set, at least as vehicles + combiners. The box modes transformations are some of the least fun in the whole series though (especially the motorcycle figure).

>>11667465fuck, ye. I've been wanting to get a V-riser set for years, but not enough to pay the collectors price. I hope they start doing the D-Vehicle sets too. I feel like most of those should be easier to KO than these fully articulated power suits>>11668341I wonder if they have any plans to go back and make an Actaeon/Endemion Elite version, or if they can't because they lost the project files or something
3MIN Project's new hand robots seem to match the Waruda aesthetic well, just waiting for them to release in grey plastic. https://x.com/sugihama3373/status/2010225743733895507
Hi lads, don't often post here but seems like the right thread (If not please let me know). I am kind of new to building this stuff, and I bought a 30 minute sisters Miki model which comes with a dress. When I put the dress on her, I can't seem to keep the legs attached. The box claims it doesn't need glue, am I just doing something wrong and it should all fit together? Or can these be super fiddly.
>>11673212It's relevant to this thread but >>11659564 is more familiar with girlpla and know better. Bandai's plamo definitely snaps together without glue but you shouldn't be handling it like you would a kid's action figure.
