Post action figures you used to fetishize as a kid
>>11654408The original Crimson Guard really is a cool figure.
>>11654449This. Had a bunch of them while I was a kid. That and the BATS too.
>>11654449>>11654474Dont forget vipers. I loved the Crimson Guard then and still do to this day. This is my favorite grunt uniform ever, i cant verbalize why it grabs my imagination but it does.
>>11654474I have both a Crimson Guard and BAT. Both have worn emblems though. They're my two favorite original O-ring troops too.
I had an old Luke Skywalker action figure from ROTJ with the Jedi cloak. (The cloak was made from fabric, not plastic). That was my favorite action figure as a kid.
When I was a kid I had a crush on Jessie Bannon from Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, I got this figure of her from Pizza Hut and rubbed all the paint off her chest so it looked like her boobs were showing.
>>116545181983 Luke Jedi is my favorite original Star Wars figure too. Hasbro reissued him not long ago for the retro collection so you can still find a reasonably-priced one.
>>11654518Get a cheap retro reissue now while it's still cheap.
>>11654502>>11654486Funny I was going to mention the vipers. You are correct though.
>>11655020The Viper, BAT, and Crimson Guard are the three most valuable Cobra troop figures in the original line, which tells me you're not alone.
>>11654408I loved these guys
>>11654408>Post action figures you used to fetishize as a kid>Almost everyone posting male figuresUh...?Anyway, this was my wife as a child(my god, I didn't realize how badly these early Digimon figures aged)and I would basically have her go around on adventures with whichever toy was "he's literally me" at the time. Eventually, I traded Kari out for a Kingdom Hearts Kairi figure and pretended it was the older version of her.
>>11656596That version was weird. Were they going for a Halloween theme?
>>11656631Loud colors were a thing in the early 90s, here's your blind ninja bro.
>>11656640Hasbro transitioned from marketing to Gen-X kids to early millenial kids, and they somehow were attracted to bright colors.
>>11656671Can confirm, I'm an early millennial and I fucking love loud colors.
>>11654408my grandma had a barbie doll that i would harm and poke with needles and shitanything "fetishizing" was mysoginistic in naturei was always single in game and tsundere towards whoresmy brother on the other hand was always extremely loyal to the same bitch>>11656607 kinda like this dude
>>11656707It sounds like your brother is a lot more sane than you are, and you shouldn't be around women at all.
>>11654408>fetishizewat
>>11654408
>>11656607jesus christ dude you read me like an open book
>>11654412Takes me back, picrel was my self-insert toy for adventures as a kid
>>11654408This one here. She had that whole dominatrix feel to her, and she still stands out when mixed in with other figures of the age. I didn't have any female action figures before her, and she was literally my first one not because someone dropped it on me but because I sought it.
>>11657646Omg, yes! I totally did and I never even had any... But for me the absolute top was picrel. I never had him either, but once I held it in my hand in a toy store until my mom made me put it back...
Batgirl 66 gave me my first boner. I got this figure from MacDonalds. So I had it hidden with my other toys.
>>11658013He looks like he has the downs
>>11658201I can understand this issue. I like the show, i like character, i like her in BTAS and i just enjoy the costume. Mcfarlane doesnt make great figures but the most recent Batgirl, dc classics i think, they did looks pretty nice.
I scraped the paint off her tits (flesh colored mold), came on it then buried it in my backyard because I was embarrassed that I went through so much effort to see her naked.
>>11658013I like how Peter Pan has a jet pack with grappling hook. They knew how to accessorize a movie toy into something kids would want.
>>11658328I fanatically loved the movie Hook, so if they packaged a piece of shit with the Hook logo, I'd have wanted that too
>>11656768i'm still kicking myself for not picking this up mint in a bargainbin of my local toy shop years agothey became insane on the aftermarketand besides liking unreal tournament 2004 i would enjoy a (sloppy) 1/12 shock rifle
>>11654408OG Optimus. I was slightly too young to get into Transformers in it's heyday but I caught the show on reruns a few years later. My older cousin used to have a lot of the toys since he was the perfect age in the 80s to get them, but few survived his childhood.I used to really want an Optimus but they were not found any longer. My neighbors, these two girls somehow did have one in their pile of toys so I played with theirs for a while. I managed to grab the reissue one later on when Gen 2 came out.
>fetishizeNon-sexual or sexual? The original non-sexual meaning is more like idolize and project yourself onto. For me, it was Sci-Fi from the Battleforce 2000 line. I made him my own character stand in for myself. Even more than that mail away figure you could name after yourself.
>>11654412>>11656803This was my fav Technic figure.
>>11660968Freddy Mercury?
>>11656607>(my god, I didn't realize how badly these early Digimon figures aged)Isn't that thing like an inch and a half tall? Doesn't look bad considering.
>>11658326That's awesome.
>>11661477Fair point. I guess my nostalgia just made me remember those figures as better looking than they actually were.
>>11662525This made me remember the Play Asterix figure I was obsessed with for years. It also didn't age well and was way cooler in my memories. One kid from my school had pic rel and introduced me to Asterix one time when I was over to play. We watched a cartoon (Asterix the gaul) and then had the greatest playtime ever with these figures and some of his other action figures. I was hooked, I would've given my soul to have these figures after for years. I read the comix and watched all the cartoons I could get. Unfortunately the figuires were really hard to find back then. As an adult I bought them on ebay and realized that they are only cool in my memories.
